Previewed in a French language
lululemon video - a new Studio Softshell and what looks like a new striped Plum Swiftly (looks identical to the plum swiftlys at last year's Sea Wheeze) and maybe a new vest. (Thank to Eric again for the heads up). I'm going to pencil that Swiftly onto my Wish list. Not sure when North America will get these.

What happened to all of the Pure Balance water bottles? Had a couple in my shopping bag and now they are totally gone from the website!
The jacket looks wicked outside of the weird elasticated cuffs? Ruffled? Otherwise it is really cool and appears to be styled after the traditional Swedish style rain jackets I am seeing popping up all over Europe
I watched the video. Holy moly, the colorblocked hood of the softshell (especially from the front view) makes it look like the model is wearing a space helmet. You know, the kind astronauts wear to get their oxygen.
I am not that excited by it. The colorblocking extends too far down into the shoulder area so it looks like your head is massive. And the general silhouette seems a bit poufy in the midsection so not all that slimming.
Plum swiftly looks pretty good though, but I need to see more pics to be sure if I love it.
OT - I was at the Burlington, WA outlet today and they had lots of Sizzle wunder unders which never made it to the store first. I tried them on anyways suspecting the reason why they were at the outlets and lo and behold - sheer! I could see the white tag thru them while standing and I am not even gifted in the bum department. My concern is.. They are still making sheer luon? And trying to sell these to the public anyways and not even a steep discount - $72 marked down to $59.

Received email yesterday that my yogosmoga slimmie pants are finally on their way. Nervous about their fit after seeing some reviews because I ordered a 2 because on their size chart I'm a 4 in waist but 2 in hips. In lulu I can wear 2 or 4 depending on the style. I cant wait! Will post review after I get them.
love all three! The jacket reminds me a little of the run: puddle jumper jacket from last year at the cuff area. Loving plum, I am so excited!

The color-blocking on hat jacket looks ridiculous...too bad Lululemon insists on doing that trend to death. The jacket looks kind of shapeless and boring anyway though, but at least it drops below the waist!!
OT but I was wondering if anyone has spotted the Wondering Yogi tanks in store yet, particularly Canada??
So lululemon surprise-sent me some pants. I got an email yesterday along the lines of "we are sending you something knit, tight-fitting, and in your size!" I didn't know they surprised customers like that?
Lo and behold, it shows up today, and it's a new pair of wunder unders in the "full on luon." I wonder if they sent me this, after having had to take back two pairs of wunder unders in the last few months because they literally disentegrated in multiple spots (severe pilling and holes in the fabric, as well as seams coming apart).
Tried 'em on, very happy with the fit and coverage. Seem a bit more compressive than the two returned pairs, as well as being made of what looks to be a tighter knit.
Kind of impressed that they just out of the blue sent them to me, that's pretty nifty if you ask me!
This has to be the first positive experience with lulu I have had in like... a year.
I might make that plum swiftly my first long-sleeve one. IF it's not the short length and IF the sleeves aren't freakishly small.
The jacket would do well to keep out the rain, but why the heck is it a different color from the rest of the jacket? And a light color, at that. Hello, dirt magnet!
OT: the Hot Hitter dress is on WMTM. Any thoughts? It has good reviews. But not much resell potential on eBay (which is how I usually justify the no return policy). I'm 5'8", and 8-10 in LLL tops and skirts, and am wondering if it's too short/tight for toddler chasing at waterparks. Google photos are all over the board on length.
OT but I just received my Yogasmoga Tippy Toe Leggings in India Blue and they are beyond wonderful! I ordered a size 4 and they fit perfectly (for reference I am between sizes 4-6 in LLL and am 5'8, 125lb). The YS leggings have the perfect amount of compression and the fabric is so soft- and not at all sheer!
Also loved that my order came wrapped in tissue paper and included a signed letter as well as a free T-shirt (gift for waiting patiently with the preorder that was placed in April).
YS doesn't have a wide variety of products now but I checked out their facebook and it looks like new designs/colors are well in the works. Definitely impressed with this company

@anon11:37pm, maybe it has something to do with the bad reviews they got in regards to cracking and breaking so easily? I was thinking of getting one and then I read the reviews... not good.
@ anon 7:41 am - I read yesterday about someone on a FB board also getting a surprise but maybe you are the same person? That is a nice surprise. I'm sure lululemon is aware of people's growing frustration with poor quality so glad to hear of this surprise. I am dying to try the new full on luon fabric.

About the sizzle wunder unders, I saw sizzle boogie shorts in eBay. Must have gone straight to outlet too. I hate that sheer items are still being sold, albeit at outlets and not at regular retail stores, yet then are passed off on eBay just the same, hyped up as "rare" or "hard to find".
OT: can someone tell me when the banners on the website are usually changed? I love getting to sneak peeks of what's coming...
LLA...a few years ago, like 5 years ago, I was having bad luck with Lulu always advising me on bad sizing over the phone. I gave them my measurements and told them what sizes I normally wear and they advised me to buy much bigger sizes, than what I actually fit into. One day while speaking with the GEC, they apologized and said for all my troubles in the last couple of months, they were going to send me one of the items I ordered FREE. They said it was a suprise Thank-you for my loyalty.... I got a nice letter in the mail from the GEC and my item in the correct size FREE! the item was valued at around $80, so yes, they do reward some customers...but from what I hear, not very often! :( Its always nice to get surprises...esp. When its Lulu! :)
I have been happily purchasing older Flow Y bras on ebay lately. Better quality, more coverage, and cheaper price! It's a win all around. If LLL would go back to the older version of the FLow Y, I would probably pick a few more up, but until then, I'll happy with eBay.
When I first saw that jacket from behind, I honest to God, thought it had a neck travel pillow, the kind you buy at airports for long or overnight flights, attached to jacket. A year or two ago lulu came up with a hoodie that one could fold into a pocket and converted into a pillow. So I thought this one here was this year's version!
OT-why are my YS items sheer? Both the Tippy Toe Legging and Run Jump Plays. I was so excited and then really disappointed when I discovered the sheerness. I thought there was no way they were going to be sheer. I have had the best customer service and really like the compression. Why is everything see through?!?!

I wanted these hot yoga shorts in dune....I had the heat it up crops and bra. The shorts were online, and I never saw them in the store. Then they disappear on the website. I ask customer service online if they were recalled, and they said no...they must have sold out. Finally after digging I realized they must have been sent back to the outlets...how dirty. I'm glad I didn't buy them on ebay, but I don't think the "return" policy would have been much different! I would have been stuck with them either way.
LLL needs to be honest on why things go away. Its "rare" on ebay or "hard to find" because they yanked their crappy product off the shelves and into the outlets.
@ anon 12:49 pm - what color did you get? People have had the most problems with the pink.
OT - I'm trying to get defines on ebay. I saw one with a zipper pull but it's the older pull. Instead of the metal logo, it's a rubber logo with a white background and black Lululemon symbol. Is that real? I've never seen it before. And instead of it being a scrunchie, it is a something that doesn't look scretchy.

I have never heard of Lulu going above and beyond EVER, especially in the customer service department. The 2 instances here are the first I have heard about in the many years I have been following this company. They are definitely not known for their service.
Meanwhile, YogaSmoga is a new company and already there must be more than a dozen instances of exceeding people's service expectations on this blog alone.
I received my YS tippy toe leggings this week in black and they are totally sheer - fine when I am standing up, but the bend over test is a complete fail. I did size down as everyone was suggesting. I am 5 ft, 100 pounds, 25 inch waist, 33 inch hips and the size 2 doesn't work. I don't know if I should bother trying a 4 or just give up!

Definitely was not me on facebook, but that's really cool that they've made a point of suprising more than just one person!
The full on is definitely thicker/nicer feeling to me than the angel blue WU I had. And about on par/slightly nicer than the reversible inkwell/black I had. Have not tried the bend test yet, but I will report back on how the full-on luon responds to the treatment.
Either way, more than likely, I will see if I can take them in and switch them for something different (more sports bras perhaps), as black leggings aren't much my style!
I've had my last 3 Lulu orders end up as disasters. For 2 of them I got gift cards, mostly in the $30-$40 range.
They know we're not pleased with their BS, I had one GEC not only agree with me but shared a similar pants story.
I really wonder whats going on over there. Are we really that addicted that there's no impact in their sales? I know some people haven't seen the sheerness but a lot have and are running to alt brands. Let's hope this new Luon takes over and the quality makes a permanent comeback.
@ anon 5:04 pm - I think sheerness is a problem with many other companies as well. I find Nike and other major brands offer thinner running/yoga bottoms and they are sheer too. So in other words there are that many choices out there. As long as lulu offer cuter styles than other brands lulu addicts will still keep buying lulu.
@ luluaddict - anon 12:49 here. Both YS bottoms were in black that were sheer, and both were my correct size.

OT but I just tried on the full on luon wunder under, and it feels like old luon! It is more compressive, so I sized up to a 6. (I'm normally between a 4 and 6.) good coverage in a deep squat--very excited!
Weird about the sheer yogasmogas- my crops were way too small and were pulling/a bit shiney but were not sheer at all. I'm 5'7 121lbs and sent mine back for a size 6.
I had the same problem! I wish I would've stayed w size 6. I got one pair size 6 prior to back orders starting and I LOVE them. They are NOT sheer at all. Size 4 was totally sheer. I am exchanging for a 6 and crossing my fingers. I have already been waiting 2 weeks for the new size. I hope I am not waiting 6-12 wks:(

8:31 I totally agree with you regarding sheerness with a lot of companies and not just Lulu.
I saw a woman with a pair of splits 59 near my work walking to a spin class and her tights were sheer, I have also seen a lot of nike which is sheer and mostly made of recycled polyester.
I notice if the wearer has hips and thighs, the sheerness seems to be more prominent.
