Spotted in Stores - Multi Groovy Energy Bra

Those of you who like to live dangerously (in terms of having the wrong pH) - a new Multi Groovy Stripe Energy bra has been spotted in a US (I think) store.  (Thanks to Ms. K. for the photo.)

Oooo I like it!

I didn't think the multi stripe was as cute in person. I really liked it online, but it was so bright in real life! And now to hear that it may bleed makes it an easy pass for me. Thank you Lulu for saving me from buying a tank I was on the fence about, lol! I.'m getting the nimbus stripe instead.

Oh my! I would love to buy the multi groovy stripe energy bra. I just got the power y yesterday, so maybe I should wear it first to see if there is any bleeding before buying the bra tho. I haven't had any items bleed yet,but I've only been buying LLL about 6 months. I did have a bra spontaneously change colors whenever I sweat in it. I returned it.

I bought the Groovy Multi Stripe Energy bra from the Soho store last night. I actually went looking for the CRB and Diversity scarf in cool breeze, which they didn't have, so the bra was a surprise. Of course the stripe placement is different on each one. I'm worried about bleeding but I'm also a sucker for hot pink and this pattern so I will risk it. However, I'm not sure if I will like the All Sport bra more. Hopefully, that one makes it to the US soon.

What are they smoking, posting the sea stripe light flare inkwell/inkwell WU in wmtm for $59? These are the most hideous crops ever made. I would not even buy these if they were $10! Although I do wager if they posted for $19 they'd move.

Anyone tried the diversity scarf? I checked a few days ago and it wasn't in my store yet. Since the clarity scarf seems to have sold out in the colors I liked pretty fast, I'm a little worried to wait to check it out in store in fear that it will sell out... But I'm hesitant to order it online without much feedback in yet.

I got the multi Groovy Energy bra yesterday, fresh out of the box from the store in Glendale, along with a pair of black WU crops :P Now I'm just waiting for the CRB to come out

I tried on the Will crops in the store today. I thought they were cute until I saw my backside and realized they were sheer. Too bad!

I saw the scarf today and decided 60$ was too steep. The fabric was just eh! It's the same as the lining of the apres jacket! I wasn't wowed at all! It felt very cheap and for sure not as soft as the clarity scarf! The fabric felt very weak almost that you could tear it at any point! Also it looked like you could see the weave of the plastic in the scarf itself.

It's almost like it was meant for working out and not to be worn casually. It's not worth the money.

Sigh. Wish they would make the original vinyasas!

I ordered the diversity scarf in raspberry glow and it came with a butt load of tissue paper... Its a very soft but fragile fabric. I LOVE the color, but i am sending it back. Its beautiful, but i need durable for my lifestyle. Just depends on what you need it for. I also found it hard to work with when it came to the synching... it was rather odd. LOL

OT- Tried a few things on yesterday at my local store and had to bring my new Inspire II crops in for repair. Wore them twice and the hemming on the bottom is coming apart. They will send them to their seamstress for repair. I think the issue with the stitching on the Inspires is due to cheap thread that doesn't stretch with the luxtreme. It has too much cotton in it and rips. I tried on the supposingly new and improved WU black luon crops. They were the perfect fit and flattering but more sheer than the ones I returned under the recall. So disappointed. I tried on the light coal skinny will crops and they were more sheer than the WU and I think they would show sweat really bad. The mod move singlet was on markdown in the purple and aquamarine stripe, zippy and the solid purple. They were however sold out in my size. I loved it when I tried it on a couple of weeks ago but thought it was too expensive for what it is. I wore my charcoal WU for the first time this morning. Loved them, they do show sweat but not as bad as I thought they would. At least they are not see through. Still waiting for my YS crops, I'm needing new black crops.

I don't show off my bras, so a print one is kind of unnecessary, although I do like the colors to peek out from under tanks...I was in my local store today, and there is still a rather large inventory of the cycling jerseys on the shelf. I find that interesting. In past years those seem to have gone very quickly. I wonder if it's the colors or the price turning people off.

Thanks for the feedback about the diversity scarf! I'm super bummed its not as soft as the clarity! Maybe ill just get another clarity if there are any left in the store when I go next time... I was so excited to see that the diversity could be wrapped around your neck three times. I really like big scarves. Bummer!

Wow Mod Moves Singlet is already on MD? Ha.

Thanks for the info on the charcoal WUS... I just got them this week but still have the tags on - not sure if I'm keeping them yet. The fabric is "shiny" and great color but not as compressive as my regular WUS.

Hi anon 3:06
What was the md price in the singlet? I just picked up the two newest colors released....debating if i want to wait or not...I love this style

Oh gosh I had already forgotten I had two Yogasmoga leggings in backorder!! Thank you Anon 3:06 for reminding me! Are they ever going to be shipped out??! I'm starting to wonder...

Price for sure. I'm a cyclist and would rather invest that money in specialized gear, or carbon shoes that are at the same price point and better material/design. I bought 2 jerseys and 2 shorts last year after deep discount.. That's the only way I would buy cycle items at LLL. I look to them for run/yoga gear at this time..

I noticed someone above mentioned that their bra changed colours when they sweat in it. This happened to me with my Shell Pink CRB. I chatted with GEC and they were baffled by this. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a question regarding Lulu's bright pink items - I rarely notice bleeding in terms of pinks being on other items, but I *do* notice that my flash energy bra from a few years ago, and my pinkalicious swiftly tank have totally lost their original colors, and look faded. Has anyone else had this happen? Do you think Lulu would take them back?? Thanks!

I have 2 clarity scarves: PP/aqua stripe and nimbus/white stripe. I love how soft they are, but I find them a little shorter than I would like when looped twice. I just bought the diversity scarf in soot and I didn't really think about the fabric being fragile. Now I'm wondering if it's worth keeping. I like being able to loop it 3x for volume, and it's a light fabric so it's not claustrophobia inducing. The cinch tapes are kinda weird, and I haven't fussed with them too much, but I think there might be a problem hiding the long black tapes once you cinch them. The tapes run through a channel on/near either end of the scarf, and I find these weigh the light fabric down a little bit. The educator said she hasn't played around with it yet, but was wondering if it might be used as a cover up or skirt/dress --it is large enough I think, but I can't see how that would work. I'm sure someone will figure out ways to wear it and hopefully they will post a youtube video! For now, my scarf is just visiting. All time favourite scarf: vinyasa!

The markdown on the MM singlet was $49. Not much but better than full price. I also tried on the run beam in white with nimbus stripe on markdown for $59. Ended up getting the silver lining SS also on markdown for 59. I liked the looser fit of the silver lining vs the run beam.

@ anon 8:00 am - Flash was a well-known bleeder. I think lulu would take it back. I haven't heard about Pinkelicious Swiftlys bleeding/fading but they might take it back, too.

i got my soot will crops yesterday and oh my gosh, they are super see thru, i mean a lot, not a tiny bit - i took pics but i'm really too embarrassed to post them. got them in my usual size and in fact they were a bit loose but once i turned around the issue was obvious and then in down dog it was laughable. i contacted LLL to make a return and at first they tried to charge me the 5.00 return fee - i said, come on, i'm returning your defective product is it unreasonable to think i would not pay you to return them? the educator said she was sorry "the crops didn't work for me" and they would pay the return. "didn't work for me"? this is one of the reason's people are so frustrated with LLL, they never own up to the quality - wow. really disappointed b/c i was so happy to see the Will in a crop.

I got my Fast Track shorts yesterday. I was sorely disappointed. I hoped they would be similar to last year's Dash & Dart shorts & frankly, they paled in comparison. They were super tight, the fabric felt flimsy, the pockets were minimal, and there was no grippy tape on the leg opening. I tried both these & my D & D shorts on for my hubby and his response was, " Why do you keep buying stuff from that company? It's all s**t now."

Sorry for being a Negative Nancy, but man was I disappointed. I already went online & bought the festival bag in anticipation of returning the shorts!

In the description on LLL website says it can be used at the beach as blanket?

I messaged YogaSmoga and asked about when my order will be shipped and they said they are planning a small surprise for those of us who have been waiting. Here's hoping since I've never gotten any surprises from lulu! Surprise! You're pants are sheer!! That's about it.

Anonymous said...

@ 3crazykids, thanks for the YS tip that a surprise is coming. I am hoping the crops I ordered arrive at least by the week of June 17 (that is the 10 week mark). I really hope they are a winner!

I was in 2 different LLL today (not out of the way, just happened to be in both hoods) and wanted to buy the black SS with summer quilt 13. Both stores still do not have them - haven't received them. How stupid is that, seriously! I live in a major city! I left with nothing (and looked at nothing else) since everything else is unappealing.

Mandy said...

Oh 3crazykids that's awesome! Did they say when they'd be ready. I ordered a pair of their blue crops and I can't wait to receive them in the mail!!!

lululemon is looking for a new CEO.

@3crazykids
Thanks for contacting YogaSmoga for all of us who are still waiting. I was just about to email them too. I have 3 orders waiting. I am sure that it will be a nice surprise. :) I have already received a nice little surprise from Rishi, the CEO. He sent me a long sleeve pima cotton, scoop neck t. I've use it several times as a layering piece. :) Love their customer service and because of that, I am being very patient, waiting for my crops and pants.

@3crazykids

Thanks for letting us know! I was going to email them as well since I'm hitting my 12-week mark soon for them. I had forgotten I ordered them ...I hope they show up soon!!!

On a positive note, there have been a few great items lately- festival bag love, nimbus stripe, voyage hoodie Etc

On the other hand, still not the quality and cuteness as before. Really want to buy run crops with side pockets and was excited there was one left in the nimbus pattern of the mod moves crops. They seriously were like wearing pantyhose!!! So disappointing, honestly though I am noticing more and more women in see through pants, shorts etc on the run path and all sorts of brands... Not sure if pants gate just brought it to the forefront or what but seems like lulu is not alone with these problems.

LuluAddict said...

@3craztkids - I did hear about the surprise but didn't tell you guys because I wasn't sure it was a done deal at the time I heard about it.

9:02 I have noticed sheerness in many brands lately, it is not just lulu. I really think it has to do with the nylon. I have seen Nike, splits 59 and a few other pants who's brand I didn't spot that were sheer.
My last yoga class it was almost impossible to keep focus the girl in front of me was wearing whit underwear and a pair of blue crops that were basically a pair of cheap nylons.
