Id LOVE to get the contempo jacket in Raspberry glo, but I'm too scared it will bleed all over my other clothes :(

My local store (Tampa, FL) had Raspberry Glo In the Flow crops on their product notification yesterday. I haven't stopped by the store yet, but I don't think it would be on the email if it wasn't in the store, right?

And the pics with the Raspberry Glo Contempo Jacket, I know you said it was from Austrailia, but the pic says Miami. If they really were in Miami, then they must be burning up in that jacket lol. Too hot to even think of wearing a jacket outdoors in FL now!

Anonymous said...

Im NOT!!!! buying any colours with a warning that they bleed!!! Thats just asking for trouble, in my opinion!

Anonymous said...

@anon 10:06 that's Miami, Australia :)

Afraid that jacket is going to be a bleeder.

I just got a PN from my store in So Cal that the Raspberry Glo In the Flow Crops are in? You mentioned them only being in Australia. Im tempted to get them, they look nice with orange!

Anonymous said...

Definitely not Miami, Florida - steering wheel on the right side of the vehicle.

@10:06 - Call your store first! They get the products in the email they send up through the week. I wanted a top that popped up in my store's email yesterday, but called before I drove there and sure enough, they didn't have it yet. Glad I saved the gas!

P.S. There is a Miami in Australia too :)

LLA- why does lulu keep selling items that bleed? This baffles me. They tell you to keep it away from other clothes when wet? What about when you are sweating? Am I supposed to take off my RG crb when I sweat at the gym..?!? Wtf?! I think that warning sticker is appaling. They need to recall bleeding items, not make ridiculous rules about how we are allowed to wear those clothes!

Anonymous said...

Can anyone comment on how much you can size down in the blissed out jacket? One size down or two? The reviews are saying the arms are tight but lots of material up front...)

rasp glo in the flow crops are in atlanta stores too

So people are actually liking the groovy multi stripe pattern? I saw it today in store and I hate the color combo, raspberry glo is such a juvenile color (didn't like it the first time around) and I think it looks ugly paired with cool breeze. It just looked like a bad piece of fluorescent candy in real life. I'm not at all insulting anyone who loves it (which many seem to), but it just didn't do anything for me.

Amped Crop, colour cuff on one side and stripe down the other…ADHD if I ever saw a piece of clothing that demonstrated this. Very dumb and no, not “cool”.

Raspberry Glow and PH level warning, WOW! they are still on about this and so much so that they put it on the tag! “2% of the population” be warned!

Seriously enough with the pink already. Quite unimaginative to constantly offer some version of pink, regardless of it being a big seller. I think we see loyalists wanting a nice green (hello, more Very Green!), more nice yellow, nice non-trafficky orange and reds, grey and black items.

This company gets more and more ridiculous by the hour.

Buddy there looks good in his outfit, though I'm not a fan of that orange. Nice shorts though.

Raspberry in the flow crops are in the grant avenue San Francisco store.

Ordered the scoop me up in raspberry glo from last weeks upload. It arrived today, and how disappointed am I to discover it is stained in some places a deep blue or purple color. Sigh. Sending it back, and won't be ordering anything else in this color.

@ anon 10:06
You are wrong, there isn't just one "Miami" in the entire world, lol! I you look close it says "Miami AU"

Anonymous said...

Just wondering if anyone has picked up the Raspberry Glo Scoop Me Up tank? I love the color but I'm concerned about bleeding issues.I have it in purple and its an absolutely fabulous tank. I definitely want to pick up another one but I don't want to risk ruining my other clothes for the sake of a pretty color!

Raspberry Glo In the Flow Crops! I sure hope they're not sheer like the Pinkelicious ones...WANT!!

@ anon 10:23 am - I couldn't agree more. That was why I posted the photo of the warning sticker.

I made the comment at 10:06 and I didn't realize the steering wheel was on the right side. My bad!! Since I live in FL I focused on Miami in FL, need to not do that :)

There is nothing like blaming the customer for poor quality issues with a garment and it's dye. Unbelieveable! So I guess if you are one of that 2% of the population (which I'm sure that more Lulu customers will exceed that number they throw out), you should just abstain from buying any bright colors and walk around like Hester Prynee with a big Raspberry Glow letter on your chest (I guess "S" for "sweater"?) That is just the most inane, lame thing I've ever seen. I don't think I've even owned cheapo-cheesey K-mart workout wear from the 90's (remember all that fluorescent stuff?) that had issues with discoloration because I sweat. I am a heavy sweater, and I guess Lulu would rather I not be able to buy their brightly hued stuff rather than find a permanent solution to the problem. What the heck!

Didn't a previous letter say that realized they were pushing the color limits for vibrants bit too far and that they were going to fix it?

The Spry duffel might have to be mine.

I am anxious to see some pics of the runbeam long sleeve. Since I live in a hot climate, that would be a great top for the spring and fall. Probably even the winter too. I had tried on the short sleeve runbeam and didn't like how baggy it was. It was ill-fitting in my normal size but they didn't have a smaller one to try. I'm hoping the long sleeve is a little better fit for me.

Anonymous said...

OMG. and to think i almost bought the amped crop not even knowing there was a huge unappealing stripe down one side. thanks for sharing that sort of important product information, lulu.

Anonymous said...

LLA.....do u have any pics of anyone wearing the new cool breeze Scuba hoodie? :)

Anonymous said...

I got the blissed out wrap and got a size 2. I typically take a 4 or 6 in lulu jackets. I'm 5'0 and 105lbs. The sleeves do run a bit slim and narrow so I can't wear thick long sleeves underneath comfortably. The shoulders were fine and probably run a bit wider than most jackets. I thought about the 4 but the fabric in front was more to contend with.

@ anon 10:23 AM & LLA - I have the raspeberry glo CRB, and I haven't had any bleeding issues. I bought the tamer headband & energy bra in the groovy raspberry glow pattern, and I haven't had any troubles with bleeding, either. I know a lot of other people have said their raspberry glo CRB didn't bleed, which is why I took the plunge & bought it.

Heat it up crop in BBB $29 and Pizazz inspires $39 at the store in Santa Barbara!

Is there something wrong with your "search" for old blogs? I keep getting the message "No results". Thanks for your help!

Anonymous said...

Couldn't they insert one more color block in the Amped Crop? Lulu designers run out of ideas? Here is one, why not color block the gusset? It would be reaaaaaally cool to have a Raspberry GLO patch in the crotch too!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 4:38 pm - there is something wrong with the search. I hope it's temporary. All my old posts are there just the search is not working.

I tried on the scoop me up tank in store today and there was a problem with the mesh liner in between my boobs bunching up and creating a few noticeable lumps in the fabric. I tried on three and had this problem with each one, even after sizing down. Anyone else have this? A shame, I love the tank other than that issue.

Anonymous said...

Anyone know if the Pizazz CRB is that thinner clingy kind or not (similar to angel blue where I could see my belly button) or nice like swan black? I'm not sure whether or not to size up or just buy both and return one

Anonymous said...

Raspberry glo in flow tights are sheer..I tried my size and went up a size (to test sheerness) and still disappointingly sheer...I didn't even have to do the bend test to see the tag or sheerness (and wearing nude panties)

@ anon 11:03am

I just bought the Blissed Out Wrap in my local store. To answer your question, I felt the arms ran too tight.

I am 5'6" 125 lbs 34D. I take an 8 in tops for my boobs. I take an 8 or sometimes a 6 in jackets. I tried both. The size 8 was the winner. Decision based on arms alone. The room in the front is somewhat irrelevant as there is so much room in this style.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, there's something wrong with Lulumum's "search" as well. So there's no quick way to search through either of your archives!

Anonymous said...

With all due respect to LLL, how are you supposed to know what the alkaline level of your sweat is?? I think that may be the dumbest thing to write on a tag ever.

Anonymous said...

Guys, are you stuff bleeding because you wash your clothes in anything but cold water? I only wash in cold water and I've never had any problems with lululemon bleeding.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know what striped scarf the woman is wearing in the picture with the Amped Crops?

Anonymous said...

I only wash in cold and colors still bleed.

I find the search doesn't work when using mobile devices frequently. It is ok from a laptop or desktop system.

Anyone know the name of the pants shown on the model for in the flow bag - cool breeze and pizazz? Cute!

Yes-zippy green and aquamarine - makes me sad I didn't get more last years scoop me up which I loved the adjustable bra inside.

Do you guys know how the play all day shorts fit compare to the work it out? The 4 in the WIO were huge on me!

HPSauce said...

I too have the RGL CRB and wore it for boot camp layered with my Cool breeze one. No bleeding/color transfer at all, even in the middle of my sweaty back, nor has there been any from my Groovy stripe multi bang buster either.

Anonymous said...

@anon 5:31
I tried on the aquamarine scoop neck at my store a couple weeks ago and noticed the same thing. Two bumps caused by the bra liner right between my boobs. I asked the educator about it and she suggested I try on the black color which I didn't need or want:/ She acted like she hadn't seen it before and since that was the only one in my size I wasn't able to try on another one. I guess it's another flaw in the design or a new type of bra liner. I haven't experienced this with any of my other bra liner tanks in the past from LLL.

Anonymous said...

ARGH I am an idiot thinking I would be the exception to bleeding. My brand new raspberry glo CRB bled. And of course I washed it in cold water. I think this might be the last LLL item for me for a long time. What ever happened to the Color Expert they hired or something??? He/she should have gotten the boot instead of Day.

Luli Designs said...

It looks like LLL has updated the Amped Crop photos and added a photo showing the white stripe on the right leg.

Anonymous said...

Wow thanks for the heads up on the amped crop. I was going to grab them...had no idea about that horrible stripe down the side!

LuluAddict said...

@luli designs - you're welcome. ;-)

A word of warning to those of you who purchased festival bag. I wore my festival bag cross body style while wearing my new multi groovy stripy power y and now have horrible abrasion and pilling across the left breast area. I absolutely love the bag but will now have to be very careful about what shirt I have on. I would imagine the same thing would happen if worn around the waist. I can't even fathom what a swiftly would look like after wearing it with this bag. Any thoughts on how to fix the pilled area? This is first time I've had that issue.

Anonymous said...

Love the multi groovy stripe but do I keep the power y or the cool racerback...or both..... I also ordered the all sport bra in the pattern. Like the power y and cool racerback for different reasons but not sure that I need two tanks in this pattern. It's selling out so quickly at my store.

I got a scoop neck white swiftly ls in store yesterday marked down to $49. Also saw the power purple bold stripe swiftly sl for $34.

Looks like there is a cool breeze/maybe nimbus or white scoop neck swiftly coming. Saw it in the picture of one of the new headbands.

Anonymous said...

Did anyone notice that last night the Ta Ta Topper in the black/nimbus stripe was all of a sudden sold out in size 2, 6 and 12, and this morning all sizes are still in stock? That caused me to hurry up and purchase one in my size 4 before that size sd out too! I had been eyeing it and checking regularly. Yesterday afternoon all sizes were still available , but by 7:00pm all three sizes were gone! Makes me mad because I bought it impulsively, thinking i would be mad if I woke up this morning and my size was gone too! I would have liked to try on in the store first, but did not think I had the time! Is this part of their plan? Hs anyone noticed this before with other items or do you think this was just a fluke mistake?

Anonymous said...

strawberry glow is a lot like paris pink which is a bleeder. I have a free to be tank in that color and the first time I washed it it bled. I hand washed it in cold water with a mild detergent.
it hasn't bled since but I don't do high sweat activities in the top. I found some light light purple spots on it the other day. they go away when you wash. I think luxtreme items are more likely to bleed.
That warning on the tag is BS. absolute BS.
They should back off on the brights until they figure it out.

@ anon 2:52

do you find you still have room across the back of the blissed out wrap after sizing down 2sizes?

Anonymous said...

What drives me crazy about the bleeding issues is aside from the actual bleeding, it is not consistent within the same item. So you get people whose items don't bleed saying the others are washing it incorrectlynorvdoing something wrong. I swear LLL does it on purpose.

Anonymous said...

@ anon 6:48am

Yes, I find I have enough room across the back at the shoulder blades with the blissed out wrap even after going down 2 sizes. The fabric lays nice and flat and I don't feel any tugging across the back when I move my arms around. I would say the shoulder seams are probably sitting more on top of my shoulders instead of at the edge if that makes sense.

Anonymous said...

@ anon 11:03am and anon 5:20pm

I'm the idiot who went with the larger size 8 vs. 6 Blissed Out Wrap b/c of the arms being snug.

But then I reread the posts and looked at the photo LLA posted above (girl seated in white with BOW and tank underneath. I realized this piece is not designed to allow for multiple layers underneath. I also thought I better reconsider how much fabric was flapping at the front.

Bottom line, I exchanged for a 6 today. Thank you for your posts. They helped me.

Anonymous said...

@ anon 5:20pm,

Thank you so much for your help. I am typically a 10 and I am trying to steer away from over sized clothing lately; yet I do not want an issue with tugging or bra bulge.

Has anyone purchased the scuba hoodie in raspberry glo? If so, have you had any problems with bleeding?
