Amped Tank photos. Shown with the Play All Day shorts, Compass Pant, and Inspire Crops (last photo). I have to imagine this tank will move to WMTM fairly quickly.
The pretty Multi Groovy Stripe Inspire crops with the Pizazz Cool Racerback.
I really like the new El Current board shorts.

I can't understand the belt like piece of fabric in the back of the amped tank. It would be much cuter without it!
That amped tank looks like someone's first sewing project gone wrong. I kinda like it from the front because it looks like a baggier power y but from the back it's about 50 kinds of wrong.
Went to one of my local stores today. They had the play all day shorts and I tried them on. They only had them in black and the stripe in my size, I tried on black. I wanted to like them SO bad because they'd really easy to incorporate with my non-gym clothes but sadly.... I did not like them. They looked pretty baggy on my frame, I'm 5'5 and very petite and tried them on in a size 4. A size 2 would have probably fit me better. I found the waist too big and the legs were a little too wide for me. They just looked frumpy and baggy on me. Very disappointed!!!! I really wanted to love them/get them.
Also tried on the engery bra because I LOVE the back and I find the free to be a little too low cut for my liking. Usually a flow y girl. I realized when I got in the dressing room that the energy bra is supposed to be for C/D cups, well I'm definitely not a C/D...we're talking very small B on my GOOD days over here. So sadly it looked very bad on me. The cups didn't fit right but the back was super cute. Might give the free to be another try.
I returned my see thru black wunder unders that I had bought about a week ago. There was a girl buying a pair as I was checking out, so see thru or not, they are selling. I ended up getting a power purple power y (too much power in one sentence) and the black festival bag. I don't know if I remember knowing that they made a power y in power purple but I saw it and instantly liked it. I took my power purple CRB back because I had a costco fulu one from a few years ago that was very similar in color and I wanted to put the $$$ towards something that I didn't already have. I definitely like it in the power y a lot better. I love the look of the power ys. Also LOVING the festival bag. Since I'm kinda on the short side, it hits my hip exactly where I like my crossbodies to hit. I like the material of it and I like that I went with black. It will be a great travel bag and run around bag so I'm happy with my purchase. I think the strap could lay a little flatter on one side, but it's a good deal for that bag. I remember seeing a Marc by Marc one very similar to it around christmas time that was selling for about $150. So I can deal with the funky strap. The educator was telling me that she has not seen one person bring one back yet!
Wow...I sure was chatty today! :)
What kind of crops are on the second girl from the top?
I went to the store and walked home with a couple things today. I bought the coolbreeze/power purple free to be tank and the groovy strip multi CRB.
First, the free to be tank was amazing. I've only tried that tank once before, in black, and knew I liked the fit. In the CB/PP combo, wow, it is sooo slimming. I have fair skin with blonde hair, and I didn't think the CB color would work on me, but it does flatter light skin tones. I also tried on the RG free to be, but it was too bright with my skin.
The CRB I'm on the fence about. It is really cute, but I don't know if it's too young looking for me (I'm 28) since the pattern is the entire tank. I'm going to keep it for now and decide.
I also tried on the groovy strip multi inspires and energy bra, the compass pants, and the front racer tank (my store still has a ton). I liked the inspires and energy bra, but didn't bite because you can't really see the pattern unless you are without a top! The compass pant wasn't that flattering with my muscular calves and height (5'5"). Front racer was kinda odd, but I know that tank was loved by some! Had to give it a try.
I hope the free to be tank comes in more colors. I love the luxtreme and fit.
Where are those black inspire crops with the green trim from?? I've never seen those before! But they look really cool and I have never seen them in stores.
OT...Fit review of the Track and Train tank in groovy stripe nimbus. Just received my order today and am happy to report that it is a keeper. :) Fit is TTS and it reminds me of the beloved Push Ur Limit. And, dare I say this....I love this one better! (And I have a pretty impressive cache of those!) The neck line is very flattering and the support is ample for me, but mind you, I'm a 32A. That said, it feels like the support is more than my PULs. The stripe distribution is almost identical to the one on lulu website, only a tad more (1/2 inch or so) of the white/light part on the top of the neckline. I like it and also am pleased to say that the "stripe seam" matches perfectly on both sides, just like the lulu website too.
LLA had mentioned in an earlier post that this tank looks similar to last year's Top Speed tank. Yes, similar in looks but with improvements, imo. Top Speed tank was too big in the chest for me (seemed like it was made for larger B cup and upward...), looser around the torso and longer (I'm 5'4"). The Track and Train fits perfectly around the chest, and skims lightly around my torso. The length just sits at the top of my thigh or at it's lowest point, just the top of the crotch area, again like where it is on the model at the lulu site. On the whole, a very happy yogi with her new tank! Would get another if it comes out in other pretty colors...spry blue, perhaps?
@ yogibabe - Thanks for the fit review of the Track and Train. I am hoping to try it on tomorrow.I wore my Top Speed tank the other day to re-familiarize myself with it. Smaller in the chest may not work for me though I did end up sizing down in that tank.
I also just worse my Top Speed tank the other day and remembered why I loved it so much. I have it in Indigo (?) and Black. The new Track and Train looks so similar that I thought I would like it but a smaller chest may not work on me as well... But will try to fit coz you never know.
Amped tank, a misnomer if I ever heard one. What is with the band at the bag and all this loose material. As someone said, it looks like a sewing project and LLA you'd be right, it will got to wmtm easily (and I will still have no interest in it).
Anyone check out the boardshorts in person for men? Opinion.. worth the $88?
I'm so confused about the Amped Tank. It's actually cute from the front - I like how the bra peeks out a bit in a different pattern. But what is the back??
I love the new Multi Groovy Stripe Inspire crops waistband- the colors work and look great for summer.
I am loving these boardshort photos - do the men come with them?
We really should show the menswear more often...
The pic of the 2nd blond from the top changed my mind about the Amped tank. If it fits me anything like her, I'm going to love it! (perhaps I should wait for it to hit WMTM since everyone else hates it).
I also seem to be the only person in the world to have found non-sheet WUCs. And I have ones from 07 to compare them to.
if they have those board shorts in a size that fit me, I am getting a pair. and yes if they came with the dude, that would make my day.

I'm actually have the total opposite opinion on the amped tank; I think it looks cute from the back but really unflattering from the front. It looks so boxy in the front and doesn't give any shape, the belt at the back at least gives some definition.
Any ideas on the type of crop the gal in the second photo is wearing (with the cool breeze amped tank)? Is it the compass pant flipped-up or altered? Doesn't have the flare of the zen crop.
I am loving the black compass pant. Anon @ 11.39, it looks like she has the bottom hem flipped up but there's no flare. When I tried them on, they don't look anything like the numbus ones in the picture though; maybe my legs are just long, but they are shorter than ankle length on me. If I flip the hem up they are mid-calf and fit like in the photo in this post.
I've been wearing them as casual wear. They're thick, not at all sheer, and look really cute with black ballerina flats.
