That Latest and My Quickie Try on Reviews

In the top photo, Pizzaz Focus V top and Scratch that Soot Core Short. In the bottom the same shirt is shown with Soot.

I like this combo - Runbeam Hoodie and Pace Crops in Wee Space White Print.  I tried on the Runbeam Hoodie yesterday (my order from Monday night is MIA for now) and liked it well enough but I don't think I loved it enough for the price. Like others have noted in the comments, the zipper sticks right at the transition point between the material on the upper chest. I tried on both the Zippy Green and the Aquamarine/Power Purple. I did like that the Kangaroo pocket added a double layer of material over the belly because the light colored material is so thin it shows every ripple and dimple. I found the top to be rather snug in the upper arms but the body wasn't too tight. It's a nice top but I still think I prefer the Run in the Sun LS from last year.

I also preferred the solid Zippy Green version of this top to the two-tone Power Purple/Aquamarine version. I am long in the shoulder to armpit and I thought the color blocking made my chest look droopier than it is.

I also tried on these Twiggy print Wunder Under pants. Like all white-based prints the print "fades" when stretched. The material has a high poly content, I think on the order of about ~70% but I could be recalling it wrong. I was thinking that I might like a Cool Racerback in this print but now that I have seen the print up close and felt it I think I will pass.

Power Purple Swiftly tank, Zippy Green Free to Be, and Beach Runner Crops.

Zippy Run Groovy Run shorts and white Scoop Neck Swiftly LS.

Aquamarine Swiftly tank and matching Mod Moves crops.

 Power Purple Contempo jacket.

Aquamarine Swiftly tank and Power Purple Inspire crops.

The purple jacket looks really bad from the back.

Thanks for your review on the fit of the Runbeam - you helped me make my decision!

I don't get how they are allowed to label things so inconsistently and in such a misleading way. Aren't companies required to label clothing with the material is made of? How do they get away with these made up fabric names, luon, luxtreme, etc, rather than the actual material, polyester, nylon, supplex, etc?

I found taking a larger of my two sizes I usually wear took care of the tight arms and showing all of my bulges. As for the sticking zipper the seams are not aligned on the top (poor workmanship) and that is why the zipper is sticking.

I like the idea of the sun beam hoodie a lot but I ended up getting athleta's pacifica top instead. It doesn't have a hoodie, kangeroo pocket, or thumbholes but there is a pocket on the sleeve. I wore it on a sunny, 78F run and the top was perfect.

Question to the floor:
Im interested in the RUN Swiftly tech racerback....in the so-called "short version" online. I dont live near any Lulu stores, so I need help! :) Im 5'6...112 lbs...34 C-D. I had a baby, but Im fairly FIT...but I dont like skin tight around my belly area and I dont like too short in the torso!

I was thinking a size 6, but had a size 6 a year ago, in the bruised berry and it was too form fitting and TOO SHORT! (I was also 20 lbs heavier then) Do you think....a size 8 will be too big?! HELP!

Thanks for the help! :)

What's up with the tip of the shoulder in the Contempo Jaket? They stick out in every picture I have seen of this jacket. If to that I add the horrendous zipper pull, I could never imagine paying more than $69 for it in markdown. If at all.

sizing is so personal preference no one can honestly give another sizing info w/ out seeing you and knowing how you like things to fit? my suggestion is order two sizes using size chart as guide and then sending the one back you don't want??? I do this alot when unsure how a style runs etc.

What is going on with the back of that purple contempo jacket, especially at the shoulders? This was my initial reaction before I even read other, similar comments. It looks pretty bad. I blame the design of the jacket as the woman is clearly in shape and trim.

I don't get the Runbeam Hoodie, think it's overrated. I wouldn't even buy it if and when it goes to wmtm.

@ Anon 3:35...I am a Lulu size 8, and having tried on many swiftly shirts in the past two weeks, I think you should stick with the size 6. I am 5'6 and 140, the size 6 is fitted on me, and the 8 is more roomy - but different colors seem to be too roomy in a size 8. I hope that helps!

Thanks 4:55pm.... :) How was the fit of the very green?! Any thoughts?! THANKS!!

I picked up the black Runbeam hoodie today. I got it for work since I spend so much time in the sun, and I don't like putting sunscreen on all the time. I am usually a 6 in LLL tops, but the size 8 fit better so I'd suggest sizing up if you are between sizes. I hope they come out with more colors. I would get another one if I liked the colors.

To anon querying sizing on the swiftly. Go for the 8 over the 6. I always size up in the CRB and swiftly. I've got a six pack but still don't like the fit being snug round the mid section. It will also give you a little more length:)

Anon 3:35- I'm usually a 6 in crbs and got the very green shortcut in the 6 too. It's perfect and I don't mind it being a little shorter for pairing with shorts. I like the fabric of this swiftly and the power purple ls- very soft.

To anon@3:35 - If you thought the regular version was too short I can't see how you would like the shortcut version. I love it, but it is definitely the shortest tank I own.

I meant to add that the shortcut swiftly fits me the same as it looks on the model wearing the coral one. I'm 5'7" I think in the other pics the models haveit pulled down to look longer.

THANKS everyone about the swiftly tech input!! :) I very much appreciate it. I think even tho Im super slender, an 8 will fit nicely....as Im big busted! And I would like it longer....as Im fairly tall. Im not into skin tight, or the it JUST fits look. not me! Thanks all!! I knew I could count on u all! :)

The zippy green does nothing for that model...it just isn't her color. does that Contempo jacket always puck like that in the back?

Do you know if they will ever bring back the longer original length of the swiftly tanks? Thanks
