Zippy Green Swiftly tank and matching Mod Moves Crops. This tank is normal length and the material is relatively opaque compared to the other light colored Swiftlys lululemon has put out recently.
I haven't really liked the Breeze By Skirt until I saw it on this woman. Shown with the Make It Count Tank.
Power Purple Swiftly Scoop Neck LS and Zippy Green Inspire Crops.
The Runbeam Hoodie looks so pretty here. Mine gets here today.

That hoodie is very nice, but I can't justify the price. I already have 2 rise and shine pullovers that serve a similar purpose. I do love the color combo, maybe if it ends up in the WMTM.

I really like the look of the runbeam hoodie. I am not a runner and wondered what else i can use it for to justify buying it. Is it warm enough to cover for those cool summer evenings watch my kids soccer game? Thoughts?
LLA - the Runbeam Hoodie is really cute (I tried it on in store yesterday) and is super soft. What are you planning on wearing yours for? I feel like it might be to warm to wear for running.
I like how the zippy green swiftly looks in the pics here. Sometimes I think it looks too bright. Mine is supposed to get here tomorrow along with my purple swiftly. I really, really like the runbeam hoodie but I'm not a runner and most of my workouts are inside so I can't justify spending $98 on a thin pullover I'm going to basically wear to target and other errands. It's so cute though I will probably crack once I see it in the store.
That photo makes me want to order the Runbeam Hoodie. Looking forward to hearing how you like yours, LLA!
@ Lulu Designs - cooler weather running - like in the lower 50s/upper 40s. Maybe wearing on the sidelines of my son's soccer games. Walking.
Maybe I'm the only one but I do not like the pullover, sothing with the way it's color blocked doesn't appeal to me. I love purple though, so hope to see lots of it in the upcoming weeks.
The Breeze by Skirt looks too much like an apron to me. Like one my grandma had.
I really like that run beam hoodie and have it in my cart - before I pull the trigger can you tell me about the fit when you get yours? It looks so form-fitting on the models and I want it to be looser.
@anon 1:21- I don't like the color blocked purple/aqua one either. I think the color blocking is strange and I don't particularly love those two colors together. I do, however, really like the solid zippy green one.
I going to wear mine for backpacking/hiking/climbing/mountaineering. Means I can skip the sunscreen. I've found if you wet the shirts, they're cooler than wearing nothing - the evaporative cooling works like a swamp cooler. I wet them in a stream while I'm hiking and It helps to stay nice and cool
Anon 1:21 PM you are not alone, feel the same, agree with your statement.
I'm a hardcore runner and have no need for this, especially with a hood. Outside of winter, a hood is a nuisance for me.
OT: ivivva has spry blue "swiftly" in ls,ss and sl. SO pretty. Hope the color finds its way to the women's side.
Hoping to pick up the runbeam tomorrow in the store. Wasnt available Tuesday when I went in but got the pow purple v neck swiftly - love! Ed told me it runs long but it seams the same as my very green v neck.
I got a great sun runner type half zip at Athleta yesterday. It doesn't have that annoying kangaroo pocket or the hood..seriously who is wearing the hood and not a hat in the sun ?
Plus my Athleta half zip was only $49
i am also tempted by Runbeam - i had the hooded sun pullover last year (with the ruffle at the bottom) and i liked it but sold it because i just didn't feel comfortable with the ruffle. these are nice and simple. however, not sure i can really justify $98. i already bought a similar type of shirt from REI (Venturi quarter zip top), which is MUCH cheaper and very nice. not as sexy as the lulu, of course, but perfect for hiking, running, etc.
as far as what to wear it for, if it's like last year's, it's perfect for sunny runs in cooler climates, or as an extra layer on a cool evening. i wore mine a lot in sweden last summer.
OT: tons of hook me up bras still on MD at the Georgetown (D.C) store.
I bought four run:hook me up bras on MD. I love them! I find them flattering and supportive.
I got my mellow yellow/burning yellow warm up crew today and don't like the colors! It looked so much softer and lighter online. Oh well. I'll still wear it but it's not as cute as I was hoping for. I have pop orange and bleached coral/pop orange stripe and I love them. Great for this weather to wear to and from the gym.
Anon 1:21 pm: I am with you. This pullover is so plain, there is not one special feature/detail. Plus, I am tired if seeing color blocking and aqua/purple combo.
I don't like the aqua/purple combo -except in this hoodie. I'm considering it more and more each day.
On a WMTM note: why weren't the teal/bleached coral drish tees added to WMTM when every other dot item was? Grrrr.
OT: my white crb and power y bra are looking a little dingy. Any suggestions on how to get them to look brighter? I've been washing it on the sport cycle of my machine with method laundry detergent. Thanks!!
I do like the idea of the Runbeam Hoodie for keeping in my bag and pull on when it gets cooler or I need some sun protection. Yesterday I bought a white CRB that was Made in Canada and had the logo on both sides and dark stitching! I am so excited about it and don't know if they are starting to put the logo on both sides of CRBs again or if this was old stock. I got the educator to pull it out of the stock room for me.
When will it be in the lower 50s/upper 40s where you live? I find it ridiculous that long-sleeve stuff and tights (no matter their length) are released in summer to the United States and marketed to runners. Runners do not need this stuff at the end of May, no matter where in the U.S. you live!
Just received my zippy runbeam hoodie--LOVE it! I found it tts, very light and comfortable. Hope it comes in more colors.
@ anon 8:20 pm - Nov - April or so. It's supposed to be a sun cover up so I can see why it's marketed now. It's very thin. I guess I could wear it in warmer weather but I choose not to.
How did I miss the power purple CRB!? OMG I can't believe i did this!!!!!!
I walked by the sunbeam hoodie ans thought yuck and too expensive! But curiousity got the best of me!
I love it! Wish it was one color! And hadn't seen power purple in person! The computer doesn't do it justice! Guess I have to check back at the store! When did it come out!? Eeeeeee love my sunbeam hoodie!
has anyone actually seen a SS swiftly in power purple? LLA, there is a picture on lulumum's blog (and probably on here as well), but it is not on the lulu website and i can't find it in an upload listing either.
@LLA the lovely! When did the power purple come out!? Does anyone know!? Eeeeeeek!
My Runbeam hoodie is going back. I didn't like the fit. Maybe mine is too big but the fabric doesn't lay flat--looks wrinkly, too sheer, sleeves are way long and it is super thin, almost to the point of fragile. Colors are pretty though.
I have started to have doubts about Power Purple 2013 is exactly the same color as Power Purple 2012. This year's looks darker, a rich purple. Can someone confirm?
Luli 7:38 PM, that's old stock on the CRB's made in Canada with the logo on both sides. I have both a white one and a black one from a year ago. Stores still carry b & w of course, but they're made in Cambodia etc.
Anon 8:20PM -- I live in northern Vermont and it is often in the low 50s this time of year in the morning (yes, post-sunrise...). Also when hiking it can get cool at the higher elevations when you are above treeline and exposed to the sun, even well into Summer!
I live in FL and still have use for lightweight hoodies in the summer. I don't work out in them, but just throw them over my workout clothes before/after a workout. It's hot enough outside not to need sleeves, but the air conditioning is always cranked up so high indoors everywhere I go. I'm often running errands after working out, so it's nice to have something really lightweight to throw on.
I used to hate on Athleta but I must say...their selection and fit has improved A LOT. Was in their San Francisco store recently and things felt younger and hipper and fit was very similar to lulu, maybe even better for my small frame. I have to say what sold me though, was the price (I think 20% all capris now still?)
LLA, I need your help! Do you remember the Run Your Heart Out crops? (of course you do....) I don't remember what the your's and the board's thoughts were on them, but I absolutely loved them. They were my first lulu purchase and I got them on markdown....I haven't see them since. I would buy a bunch more pairs if they came back. Do you know whether this is a rotating item that may come through again, or a one-and-done? Thanks!
@ anon 3:01 am - I know it's a bit darker than the Power Purple from 2009. I think it's slightly darker than last year's too.
Isn't that hoodie made from the same material that the splashguard is made of?
If so, it would be a great cover up on the beach or boat, it stays chilly by the sea way into June in the north east, I am eyeying that hoodie, but the price is so high.
M
Anyone who lives near any of the Great Lakes can attest that light hoodie a la runbeam can be useful in the summer. I think Duluth just lost their final snow cover but the lake breeze can be quite chilly. Same in Chicago. Love my new runbeam!
anon 6:26
that's exactly how I use mine, as something to throw over before and after class. I'm in the south also and it was 85 degrees outside and the runbeam hoody was VERY comfortable. I am also a fan of the solid versions of this only. Went in to buy more colors, but black was the only other solid option. The white/nimbus looked dingy to me and did not like the purple/aqua. The black is FAB.
@3:01 When I compare my new power purple stuff your bra against my power purple run catch me tank from last year they match perfectly. Both are power luxtreme and are nwt never washed. HTH
Anyone know if the new zippy inspires are sheer? Also, is their waistband a little looser and less muffin toppy than some others recently? Thanks!
