Love the Pinkalicous and blue in the flow crops! My two fave colors I must choose one, but how to decide? Ahhhhhh. Thanks for the photos LLL. I think I will just have to pass on the Rest day pullover after all, looks very ho-hum generic, nothing too special for the price.

Rejuvenate crops are slimming on that woman. Look ugly on the hanger, but I may have to try them on! Bonded CRB looks good on her also.

Loving the more full figured models!! The one thing lulu is doing right!!

This model ROCKS!!!! It is super cool to see full chested women in lulu clothes! Gives me an idea of what my DDD's look like. Us boobylicious gals need work out clothes too LULU!

I agree that the curvy models look great.

Anonymous said...

Wouldn't it be great if they used some curvy models on the website too? We come in all shapes!

Anonymous said...

OT- has anyone tried the new PowerLuxe Adidas line? It looks nice...it's certainly pricer. Wonder if it's a good LLL substitute?

Anonymous said...

Yay someone to show the clothes for those of us who aren't teeny ...confidence is beautiful!!!!!

Hooray for having curvy models...too bad so much of this frangipani stuff looks like bedsheet patterns from Target

Never mind the see-through factor and that obviously (based on the Ms K photo) this one's not wearing anything underneath (ick), the Candy Stripe Aqua Wunder Unders look like pajama pants!

I wish they would include the models' sizes on the website, as well as feature women sizes 2-12 on various items. Would give people a better idea of how the clothes fit on real life women. (Just saying real women come in ALL sizes, not just model sizes) :)

Anyone know if the in the pinkelicious flow crops are sheer?

I love the beach blanket blue crops - Anyone hear/see anything regarding the sheerness factor? The black ones have pretty bad reviews online so I'm wondering if they fixed this problem. :/

@ anon 9:15 pm - So you like the new Compass pant? I was looking at those. I am liking the flood pants, too - the Root Chakras and the Coast to Class are my new favorites and seem to be made of thicker, good luon. Do the Compass come in a solid black? I am not into the color blocking on the ones on the website.

Love this model! I'm closer to her size, and my local store usually just ignores me. I get lots of weird head toe looks when I go in and "You do know how that fits, don't you?" type questions. I would be thrilled to see more "Educators" who look like her.

LLA did you recommend to dize down in yogasmoga? Or stay same size as lulu bottoms? I just had a baby but I normally wear a 10 in lulu and was getting closer to size 8 before getting preggo. Just wanting your expertise :)

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:05 pm - A lot of people are finding they had to size down in sizes 4 and 6. In my size 12, the fit was very similar. If you think are on the smaller side of 10, I bet the YS 8 would work well for you. If you are in the US return shipping is free.

Are you sure that is a power Y frangiapani tank in the top photo? It seems to come up very close to the neck, kind of like the flip but not flop tank or last year.

Anonymous said...

@ 7:14 PM you can bet money that they are.

I know everyone has been talking about the Yogasmoga clothing but has any one tried their Yogaflops.I threw in a pair with my order and WOW- I am in love with them. They are so soft and flexible - even better than Havianans. And they come in beautiful colors - I got the purple ones. Can't wait for them to come out with more accessories - could do with a nice new bag!

Great choice on the model and it really does represent a great % of Lulufolks. Is it just me or do the tatoos detract from what is trying to be sold??

Every time I call Lulu and ask what size their model is wearing...they always reply, "she ONLY wears size 6 and thats in everything!" Even in the Still pants...they insisted she's into size 6 Stills. I find that hard to believe, since I wear size 2 in Stills and size 4 in DSP. (Size 6 in Grooves) I hate when the GEC doesnt give out correct info. theres no way, their model is wearing size 6 Stills! Everyone knows that's a size dowm item. In fact, honestly....we know about our Lulu on the blogs. I dont even bother aking the GEC anymore. Yes, Ive made the suggestion many times and for years....about saying how tall and how much their models weigh, bra size, ect. I like everyone else...just gets the same canned response from the GEC...."we'll pass along your feedback to our desing team. What else would you like to see?" LOL

Wow -- did lululemon remove the comment section from their facebook page?

Waiting patiently for my yogasmogas to arrive!!!

I bought the beach blanket blue flow crops. They are the best color in the bunch so far in terms of sheerness. They are great ! NO SHEERNESS ! :) P.S. I was totally disappointed with the Very Green and Black ones.

Anonymous said...

@anon 7:07pm: in general, website models are 5'7"-5'8" and all of them wear a size 6 which is why some things look more fitted on some of the models.

LuluAddict said...

@momof5 - The comment section is still there.

@ anon 7:02 am- Really? They are pretty inexpensive so I was looking at them. I am a Reef person myself. Maybe I will try a pair.

It's just you. So what if she has a tattoo?

Anonymous said...

@ Chantelle 7:09 AM, please do not invite this sort of talk on the tattoos again, as happened in a recent post! It's going to bring out the haters and rude people and it's not needed in this blog. Leave it at that she's an attractive woman, thanks for modelling, and stay on topic on the clothes. Peace!

Also, thanks all for the YogaSomga tip, definitely will be checking it out. I'm in Canada and was a LLL loyal customer, but no longer since the quality is sh*t. Too bad you rested on your laurels LLL. Exit Day already and get your act together.

Anonymous said...

One thing YogaSmoga needs to do is allow reviews on their website (unless they do and I somehow missed the link). It would be very helpful since it's on-line ordering only and sizing could be a bit of a gamble.

Thanks to anyone here who has given input on sizing.

I can't believe those girls are even wearing those striped WUC. They are crazy sheer. This is the reason lulu continues to churn out this bad stuff and people continue to wear and buy.

Re: Pinkelicious Pace Crops - I tried them on at my local lulu in Austin yesterday. I'm 5' 11", 165 lbs, and wear a size 10 in most lulu bottoms, and I own the inkwell space dye pace crops in a size 10, and love them. I do CrossFit and lift weights 4x/week and run 1x/week, and consider myself a fairly fit, active person. The pinkelicious looked hoooorrrible. They showed and even magnified every single dimple, bump, curve, and other imperfection on the front and back of my legs. They also made me look crazy wide in the front. I was very disappointed because I really like the color and was looking for some fun luxtreme crops for summer. Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone else finds the same thing when they try them on.

Anonymous said...

I have to say also, I have the pinkilicous pace crops and they are not sheer. They don't leave much to the imagination as far as lumps and bumps, but I thought the coverage was good. Now I just need some nice spring weather so I can actually wear them outside!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 9:28 am - I totally agree. A review section would be nice. I love reading other people's comments about fit.

Has anyone ordered stuff from Lole?

Anonymous said...

Woo there's hope for the pinkalicious pace crops! I noticed in the photos the curve of the bum showing so much almost makes you look naked, I really want them but not sure I'll have the courage to leave the house with them on! :)

Anonymous said...

Wallets in trouble with the new in the flow crop colors! The colors look great in that crop! Have to echo others when I give a great huge shout out for models that are more like the average woman!!! So glad to see those photos. :)

I'm wondering if anyone else has received the email below. i ordered the rest day pull over and have ordered from lll for years - takes 7 days (which is not exactly fast) but now - 3weeks? i called and the GEC suggested, i 1)cancel the order and place a new order for the same item or 2) wait 3 weeks to receive the item. i told her that was not acceptable - she is having a chat with the "order guru" and getting back to me - i mean seriously how full of yourself do you have to be to have a title "order guru"... wow! Thank you very much for your recent online order with us. I will say the GEC did understand and admit that this is unacceptable...

"Our warehouse just let me know that they are having an issue shipping out your package using FedEx Ground service. They can only ship it using FedEx Smartpost, which can take up to 3 weeks to be delivered. Do you have an alternative address we could use to ship your package? If not, are you okay with us using FedEx Smartpost as the shipping method or would you like to cancel your order? Please let us know. We hope to hear from you soon."

Hi everyone!
Fit review and comparison of the in the flow crops.

Black is slightly sheer when you bend over. You can begin to see some skin tone underneath the black.

Very green, pinkalicous (super bright) and beach blanket blue I did not have any sheer for te bend over test.

I was wearing a black and pink underwear and you could see darker spots on the pinkalcious ones.

As much as I like the colors I passed on all three. I would have gotten the blue but couldn't Justify it since I have beaming blue wunder unders...

Green is just a phase.

I'm waiting for purple colored bottoms:)

And I stars tts 4.

12:39 PM, that's weird. Are you in a major city or near a normal town?

too funny "order guru" but I don't think you should infer that it's the individual who is full of themself. They did not pick this title, LLL called it this, just like they call educators, "educators". It's also like when a corporate company calls someone a Specialist...you really hope they are, at whatever it is they do, but it may be a glorified title.

I just put on my Pump It Up Jacket and noticed that the Rest Day Pullover is the exact same design except for the fabric and the front zip. I am even more glad that I just ordered the Rest Day Pullover in the Vintage Sport Grey because I love my Pump It Up Jacket and wish I had bought it in more colors.

Hi, I just tried on In the Flow crops in beach blanket and pinkalicious. I LOVED my Very Greens, no see thru issues. The pinkalicious and beach blanket were atrocious. Believe me, I wanted to buy both pairs. But they were straight up pantyhose level see thru. I was in the Philly store.

I bought the Beach Blanket blue and they are NOT SHEER. The pinkelicous were sheer just like the very green and the black ones.
