NEW! Clarity Tank, Sky Blue Coming, More Front Racer Tank

New Clarity Tank. This looks like it's made of Vitasea. It comes in Frond, Black, and White. It looks like the Tiny Tee I picked up at the Lab last summer.

More of the Front Racer Tank. I hate how the front straps cut in. The text says it's coming in Fresh Teal, black, and Silver.

The new Power Purple Forme jacket. It looks like lulu is adding a hair tie to the zipper on the Formes now. I guess it's a teeny tiny step in the right direction but I'd rather have the entire Define design back.

Also, I am hearing that Sky blue (code SKBL) is a new blue being spotted in the stores. Not sure why we are getting all these similar blues lately - Sky, Beach Blanket, and Beaming. Seems so redundant.

I want to see a tank in VERY GREEN...so frustrating. My guess is that they are having bleeding issues with it, and that's why it hasn't been released.

That Power Purple forme jacket is a beautiful colour! Might be a must have to switch up all my pinks and pastels

Yay Front Racer! Just like Battlestar Galactica, but in cuter colors!

That Clarity tank looks like it might have to come home with me... in green AND white...

Even though I love power purple... I vow to never buy a forme jacket, hair tie or not;-(

@ Neph - I had to look up what a BG uniform looks like - but LOL

I am excited about the Front Racer! Those of us with larger backs and muscular shoulders from Bodybuilding can likely fit into this style Nicely! :)

The clarity tank is very nice looking. the other one is not. The purple color is very nice, but the jacket itself is not. I am actually happy that I got the pace skirt in black and faded zap, I know I will get a lot of use from those 2 skirts, so comfortable.

The Clarity tank looks as the the manufacturers accidentally put the lulu symbol on the front of the tank instead of the back and now Lulu is trying to play it off as though it was supposed to be like that.

@Neph...I was thinking the same thing! I will have to get a black one. (My husband and I did buy actual tanks modeled after the BSG ones).

What is the Front Racer Tee made of? (Sorry if I somehow missed that.) I'm not really seeing anything that appeals to me.

I just popped into my local store and am so disappointed in what's on the shelves these days. With the exception of a few fun speed patterns there is NOTHING that isn't "vanilla" - so not into sheer, or these bland colors. sad panda.

OMG that tank totally looks backwards. what an eyesore! the claritee looks kind of tight and short and all around blah.

Drooling over the re-appearance of Power Purple...definitely want that forme jacket! I'm sick of all of the "bleached/pastel" palette they've been using.

I think the front racer looked alright in the last post, but has looked just awful for every pic in this post. Yuck!

@Neph, that is too funny!! I can't wait to show my husband!

The Clarity tank looks like a plain Walmart cotton tank. Boring and nothing like the cute and functional designs that first drew me to Lulu.

Everyone complains how much they HATE that tank...now watch it be SOLD OUT! Every time everyone says how much they hate something from Lulu, its usually a bet...it will be a sold out item... LOL Like the Lulu swimwear! I read through all the hate postings on here and it was gone online in 1-2 days, in almost every colour. LOL
;)

I don't get the front racer. It just looks like you are wearing your tank backwards. Also, the way the bra straps hang out on the front? Looks poorly done and ridiculous.

I'm sorry but those tanks are so BORING...drab, blah, nothing special to them :( Ah well, some good things on MD and I'll keep watching!

Agreed Anon at 4:29 pm, the Clarity Tank looks like boring and pedestrian. Easy pass.

Also, for people wanting a Power Purple jacket that isn't the horrible Forme, Costco aka Kirkland came out with their version of the fulu define last year and the color was identical to Power Purple. I ended up selling my lulu PP define because it was too similar to the $24 Costco version. You can find them on Ebay for super cheap.

Not sure why LLL is bringing back PP. I've had enough of it between two CRBs, three+ versions of WUs, jackets, shorts, etc. This along with all the blues and pinks, all look same these days.

Uh no anon 4:44 pm, not sure what website you're referencing, but the swimwear line did not sell out in 1-2 days. Whether it's the International side or tons of stock in B&M stores, the swimwear did not sell out or perform well.

If they had defines, people would be lined up for them....

Oh my goodness, it's the perfect Starbuck tank for my BSG costume!!

@4:44pm

Just because something sells out online doesn't mean it did well...I know lulu has a set number for quantities available online in addition to quantities available in general...so if something sells out online it could be due to 1). Not very many total pieces made 2). Not very many pieces designated to sell through the online channel.

The swimwear I think was made in moderate amounts since the whole line probably took a huge hit last year. Availability was especially limited online. I know 3-4 weeks after they sold out online they were available in both of my stores in all sizes still.

The recent WAFS inkwell and white inspire and pace crops I think were made in mass quantities but very little of that was earmarked for online vending all 4 sold out within a couple of days of release but my stores still had 4-5 of each color in each size 4 weeks later.

LOL! That's what I was thinking when I saw this tank.

Agreed, I don't like the way the Front Racer Tank cuts in at the front. It does look backwards, especially with a crew "neck" in the back. Smoke another one LLL designers.

I have great shoulders and arms and I would never wear FR tank. I'd sooner reach for a CRB or that Clarity Tank. Not going to buy the Clarity Tank either though because just like someone else, make it in Very Green already, otherwise, serious snoozefest.

@ 1:56, I don't think it's bleeding issues with VG in luon. They made a Power Y in luon (light, or whatever), bangbuster etc. As if LLL customers aren't disappointed enough by poor quality and ugly designs, they have to further disappoint/annoy by not offering the VG CRB that many covet!

OT--I was at the Burlington outlet over the weekend and they have Pinkalicious Form jacket for $89, probably due to bleeding. Urban Oasis Tote in Pop Orange, Black for $59 and tons of light color SHEER WUC...I ended up getting Flow and Go bag in Inkblot for $89, crazy expensive since it was on WMTM for less last year, but still, it's more functional than all the recent bags...

I can see how some may like the idea of a high-cut front but to me I would feel so uncomfortable in it! Plus it does look like she is wearing the tank backwards haha.. I like the power purple color, I don't have any purple items yet except a headband. If it came out in a CRB I would go for it!
If something sells out online I think it's fair to say it's selling well, regardless of lulu having different stock set aside for stores and online sales.
Would be kind of cool to know these types of things, coming from a Business Admin grad.

I hope they release Front Racer bras like the Lab did...

regarding 4:44 comment, I can agree with you in some ways, I notice a lot of people hating on some of the items, and then when it goes on sale people go crazy buying. Look at the pace skirt, it got a lot of negative comments on this blog, as soon as it went on sale it's leaving the shelves like crazy, I am still trying to figure out the whole psychology behind lulu. We love and hate the brand and just keep on coming back.
