Frangipani Quilted White Wunder Unders and More

Very interesting quilted Wunder Unders - Frangipani prints with white Wunder Under pants. I think these are totally cute but would be so impractical for me. Plus I am reading the white WUs are pretty sheer on a lot of people.

From Australia - reversible Wunder Unders in Beach Blanket Blue and Aquamarine. The reversible WUs tend to be much more opaque than the single color WUs.

The Aquamarine Wee Space Pace crops and Aquamarine/White Make It Count tank.

Pop Orange Tame Me Tank and White Wee Space Pace Crops.

So cute - White/Inkwell Clari Tee and Work It Out Shorts.

I'm not usually a fan of the lulu men's tank tops but this guy is really rocking it. Top photo shows the 5 year Basic Tee and Daily Short. Bottom shows the Studio Pant and Ease Singlet.

The white WUs are just not practical and will look good on maybe 1 out of 100 people! Plus who would even buy them because there is no way they will not be sheer.

Anyway, I'm starting to like the look of the Make it Count tank in very green. It seems like a tank that only looks good on very fit and trim girls though. I was in one of my local stores this week but they did not have it although since then have posted some pics of it so I'm planning on heading over later today to check it out.

What's the word on the new beach runner crops? Good fit, fabric, sheer??

I agree that the new shorts are very cute and love the whole inkwell themed outfit. Very nice!

I also agree that guy looks very good in the tank!

BTW - I'm a newbie to this site and am loving it so far. It's helpful to hear others comments on new products. I'm relatively new to LLL as well having bought my first pieces just about 2 years ago. I'm happy to report that I bought my first CRB this week in pop orange - my color obsession of the moment.

LLA, does the aquamarine CRB have a logo on both sides?

I'm actually not a fan of the Frangipani prints at all (suitable for a very little girl) BUT in this waistband in a limited amount and mixed up, it's actually appealing. SADLY they've paired it up with the joke of a white bottom. I would never buy these as a) they are guaranteed to be see-through! as that is the LLL standard of late, and b) I would no doubt get them dirty even when trying to be careful.

Now, if they were on a black bottom like the awesome OLD groove pant, that would be a different story.

I might have to try on those Work It Out shorts today when I'm near the store (not a special trip for LLL anymore), just will be in the neighbourhood.

Buddy there is fit, takes care of himself and looks good in his clothes.

OT: Went to the LLL store yesterday, I didn't see any elongate shirts but they look like they might be comfy and I may consider one on MD for lounging (arms are always cold) BUT I did see the speed shorts... I just had a baby 6 weeks ago so I am not wearing my usual size 4 but I grabbed a 6 wagon stripe inkwell speed and a size 8 WAFS white speed and the 6 inkwell fit better than the 8 WAFS... It's almost like the seam under the luxtreme band doesn't stretch at all so it sits all funky and cuts in. I took home the inkwell speeds. They are super nice! Sucks that they are sold out on line.

People have to be careful with white. If you go with pink, blue, or polkdot panties, then try the white wunder crops, then yes, they will be sheer. I am African American and I had on a black thong, and I experienced no sheerness. While, I am not happy with Lululemon and their horrible designs, I have found the white WU to be extremely thick. I did not buy them of course, because I CrossFit and white would get dirty too quick.

Can't get over the "back fat" window they built into the Make it Count tank.... yick.

@ anon 6:07 am - It does not. I think lulu stopped doing that quite a while ago. It's been forever since one of my CRBs came with a logo on both sides.

I wore my very green make it count tank to kettlebells today. It rocked! Didn't have to adjust it, super comfortable, lots of jumping and my chest was held in place. Loved this tank..will be ripping the tags off the White/Aqua one I also bought.
I am having issues with my white Power Flow crops. I didn't take the tags off yet. I tried them on and the bottom of the legs are super tight and cutting off my circulation even when I pull the leg up so it hits me just below my knee. I don't think I have big calfs..anyone else have this issue?

Went to the store today to exchange a pair of Speed shorts (loved the white/wee space design, but size 4 was a smidge too small to be comfortable while 6 was too large) and left with the Work It Out shorts after seeing them on your blog. Love them! So comfortable, and I think they will be multifunctional as well. So glad I discovered them here.

OT - My local store had some swiftly tees & long sleeves on markdown. Excited to try them out for a lower than usual price.

Is the new aquamarine CRB soft or stiff to the touch??? Please help! Called the GEC and was told it was stiff and polyestery.... :( Is this true?! Thanks!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:51 am - I wore my new Aquamarine CRB all day yesterday and it was fine. What is the GEC smoking these days? The aquamarine CRB doesn't have any polyester in it at all. It the standard 90-something percent nylon/spandex mix. It's not super soft like the heathered angel CRB but it's as soft as the recent CRBs.

@ anon 10:1 am - I have read comments that the Power Flow crops are super tight in the calves.

I definitely saw the frangipani quilted pattern (on white background) as the waist band for black wunder unders in a local Calgary store. They were tucked into a hidden shelf I stumbled upon and nowhere else on the floor. They looked super cute.

10:51 here... Thanks Luluaddict. Yea she went to touch the aqua CRB and said it was not particularly soft... LOL It totally turned me off from buying when she said that. I appreciated her honesty, but was shocked it was not soft at all. She told me it felt very stiff and felt like polyester, even tho it wasn't. LOL

Love the Make it count top, but let me guess its $70? For a see thru plain top I would not pay that much money.
I received my pinkalicious pace crops, BBB and Aquamarine CRB in the mail yesterday, looovvvee them all! Aquamarine is such a pretty color in person, more aqua/green that the blue it looks like on my laptop monitor. Also wore my WAFS inspires to zumba this morn they performed great, kept in place and kept me cool. Sheer level for me is 4/5 (with 1 being sheer).

Someone asked about the beach runner crops...I tried the pink ones on today and they were sheer...in the FRONT. That's right, I could see the front of my panties, nevermind the hot mess in the back. I tried on my regular size. I could not have gone up a size because the waist was already loose on me (I had to pull the drawstring pretty tight for them to feel secure). Aside from the waist running big, the rest of them fit well and were super comfortable though. Maybe the other colors are better?

What is the name of the Facebook group for heavily worn lululemon (outfits that have endured triathlons and the like)?

@ UCSB student - Lulu Bones. That reminds me I have some boney stuff to get rid of. ;-)

Does the new pop orange have the logo on both sides? I bought my pop orange last year... I think the end of summer and wore it yesterday and it does have logo on both sides. I wonder if the recent release is the same????

Today I bought the Work It Out shorts in inkwell. I thought these were lined but they are not, which is fine. Usual size 4. They are not super short in the back but they are shorter, and definitely longer than Speed Shorts.

Weighing in on the aquamarine CRB, agreed, it is not stiff or poly (like the Limitless Blue one, for example). As mentioned, soft as an any CRB of late, like Mellow Lemon and Bleached Coral. I did find Pop Orange softer than aquamarine though, and Pop Orange is what I bought. For me, aquamarine will never get picked over Angel Blue (or the other blues I have).

I went to my local store last night to exchange my new pinkalicious/WAFS speed shorts. For some reason, and even the girl at the counter agreed, the patterned/two-way stretch speeds you need to size up in. I was able to get a size 8, though they seem a tad bit big, though the 6 were too tight. I can't wait to wear them with my pinkalicious Mile a Minute tank (inspiration from one of LLA posts a few days ago!) I also ended up getting the Work It Out shorts in a size 4 in the inkwell. Love them! I tried on the groovy run shorts and I wear a 6 comfortably (my normal LLL bottom size). I just wish their sizing was more consistent. I was also able to score a Free to Be tank in black for $29 on the MD rack. Lots of Cardio Kick tanks still on the rack.

Can anybody comment on the 'new' scuba that is out? I tried one on, and it feels nice, but I don't have the older style to compare it to.

I have the Beach Runner crops in BBB, and they're quite cute. They are only mildly sheer, if any, and lightweight. I got them in my normal size, but I have yet to work out in them so I can't comment on how they perform. They will look very cute with the Mile a Minute tank or a BBB CRB.

I wish some neutral vintage lululemon patterns and colors would come back like the ones from 2010

I was so disappointed by the baggy, crinkly front of the Work it Out shorts, though I did like how they were a little different-looking from the typical short. I didn't realize they didn't have a liner, which is great for some, but a deal-breaker for me. I think they will be baggy on a lot of people, because the 4s were baggy on me so I don't know what the size 2s and smaller are going to wear. You could easily size down on these ones.

@ 3:51 PM, no second logo on the Pop Orange CRB. As mentioned above, LLL has stopped putting the logo on both sides. Last CRB's (in my collection) to have a logo on both sides were Angel Blue and Pigment, and I have bought others since then.

White/Inkwell Clari Tee and Work It Out Shorts combo looks nice.

I am really liking the work it out shorts but am not sure what to do about sizing. I wear size 6 in speeds and was wondering if I should size down to a 4 for the work it out shorts?

MissDrea83, re new scubas.
I have 3 scuba from 2009 (a bit shorter without stretch panel on the sides), and a Bordeaux stretch form last summer. I tried on a faded zap scuba with lined hood in stores a couple of weeks ago in my TTS and I couldn't even zip it up over my bust because it was so much tighter. All my older scubas fit fine, with the originals from 2009 being a bit looser than my Bordeaux from last summer...

I got the Work it Out shorts Friday, and love the style, really nice fit, I just wish they were a couple inches longer! This is a bit too much leg for me to expose :)

@ 10:48 PM, I normally wear a 4 in Speed Shorts but recently sized up for the inkwell wagon stripe SS to size 6 as they were too tight in the front for the 4's. I also just bought the inkwell Work it Out short in size 4 and it is a very loose short. I was swimming in a 6. I think you'll be fine in WIO short in a 4.

@ 5:57 PM, do not waste your money on a Scuba Stretch. I still can't believe LL wants $108 for this ill fitting, overall cheap item. I have 3 original Scubas (2010-2011) and I cannot emphasize enough how superior the quality, material and design of the original Scuba is. The SStretch is thin and boxy, it is not flattering. I would not even buy it when it goes to wmtm (caspian blue and a bright yellow one have, I took a big pass!)

Try to get an original Scuba locally on craigslist or ebay.

Yes, I know they have stopped putting logos on both sides but since this is the same color release last year, I wondered if it was from the same batch as mine with logo on both sides... I guess it's not.

10:28 thanks so much for your input on WIO short sizing. I will go for size 4. Thanks again!
