Upload!!

New print revealed in the Pace Setter skirt - Frangipani Parfait pink. It's not wowing me in the photos but I might like it better in person and paired with the darker Pinkelicious.

Aquamarine is back. I don't think I bought a single Aquamarine item the last time it came out. I do like it paired with the darker blue, though.

New pink - Pinkelicious. I'll take a Cool Racerback in this, please, and, an Energy bra.

New Cool Racerback in Fresh Teal. Not sure whether I'll order this or wait to get it at a store.

Did you order anything tonight?

So mad that Frangipani Parfait pink skirt isn't uploaded in tall would have totally ordered. It's very cute for spring.

Anonymous said...

tempted by the frangipani pacesetter, but what i was SUPER excited about was the faded zap free to be! i love those for my pole classes. i have two (frond and light flare) and i'm super happy to get one in faded zap, too. the bra was the only thing i ordered.

i almost added on a green scuba, but i still can't decide between fresh teal, frond, or very green, so those stayed out of my cart too.

Got the flow and go tank in pop orange at the store yesterday (faded zap looked like it would be see through after a sweaty hot yoga class). They already only had two black ones left!

Ordered the pacesetter skirts in both pink and aquamarine. I am addicted to the pacesetter so I think I will be buying most of the new color/prints...let's hope the colors will go with my skin tone (the bleached coral and pop orange were way too "neon" for me). The pinkelious scuba looks cute but I will wait til I try it on in person. I have been looking for a lighter weight jacket for spring - got the Street to studio in dune 2 weeks ago but have not had the chance to wear it yet. The throw me over looks cute and it seems like it will come out in a gray, but the review is terrible so I am trying to decide whether to return the STS or not...

Am I just being optimistic or is that a Define Jacket the model is wearing under the Dune Rejuvinate Pullover? Please tell me it's not another Frome jacket.

Got the Flow & Go in black. I'd love to get the Embody Crop but like the blue combination version, I think I'll wait for that to come online.

I won't be ordering anything tonight but I did get the out and about pants on Saturday. The are a decent pair of go to pants for work but I wouldn't have paid $128 ($145ish with tax >.<) if I didn't have a gift card to cover most of it. The waist runs big but the rest is tts if you don't need to wear anything under it.

Pace Setter in the Pink print. Hopefully the print lives up to expectations! :-)

boring nothing for me

Not liking the print at all-look exactly like a set of pottery barn sheets I have. No thanks! And the name Pinkelicious...anyone else think of a certain very popular children's character, Pinkalicous?? I babysit a 4yo girl and she's obsessed...I usually don't really pay attention to lulu names or laugh (porta pottie), but I have a hard time getting past this association mentally....I just see that four year old who MUST HAVE PINK! PINK PINK PINK! Ugh. And it looks like a nice pink, too.

The Frangipani Parfait Pink print is cute and springy with the cherry blossoms throughout, but it's too juvenile and young IMO. It reminds me of the Blurred Blossom print I abhorred from last year.

I ordered the flow n go and pink scuba. I haven't tried the new scuba in person, so this may be returned if I don't absolutely love it. This pink reminds me of Senorita Pink, so I'm excited to compare.

OT: Was looking through a link I found on Active.com about running jackets, and the second page of the link shows a lulu jacket I don't think I've heard of--the Transparent-See jacket. Thought you all might be interested!

http://www.active.com/gear/Articles/Active-Gear-Scout-2013-Spring-Running-Vests-and-Jackets.htm?cmp=23-69

The description sounds really interesting:

"Showcasing creativity and detail, this springtime jacket is excellent for comfort and breathability. The technology prevents the jacket from sticking to the skin and provides wind- and water-resistant coverage. Roll it up and pack the jacket into itself or use the back pocket as storage. This is a staple for your spring running wardrobe."

OT--my morning news show Fox 2 Detroit aired a story about LLL asking customers to bend over to prove their pants were sheer. The anchorman Jason Carr then said "if you are spending $100 on Lycra yoga pants , you are stupid because they all come from the same Malaysian shop---you're just paying for a name"

I want the Street to Studio and the Flow and Go (although I can't decide on which color.. I'm thinking just the white) but I need a size review for both.
Other than that, nada interests me.

OMG -- has anyone else read the second Proceed with speed crop review -

I don't think I've every been this angry before. Like seriously I'm so angry I could cry. After wearing these crops about 10 time the seams around the gusset came undone. We were doing the butterfly stretch in class when I looked down and there was my crotch. Really lulu? I spent $98 on these because your website claims that your clothes will last 5 years. Didn't even last a month. I will NEVER BUY LULU CROPS AGAIN. It was extremely embarrassing and honestly I'm really hurt that this company deceived me. I am a fitness professional, I work out for a living and I thought "what a great idea, functional clothes that actually look nice" well just remember people they may look nice but they are NOT functional. Luckily I have a large audience to rant about this and not just on this review site. I write a blog with close to a 1/4 million followers and you better believe they are going to hear about this. They trust me and I no longer trust you. While I do have some nice lululemon gear by last 2 pieces have fallen apart after just a few uses and honestly, I dont care that I like my other pieces. Either you are a trustworthy company or your not and you clearly are not. You guys might be riding this wave of people hearing great things and buying your stuff for the name despite the poor quality but you better start saving your money because at this rate your company will not last. Learn to treat your customers better, be honest about your product and DONT SELL defective merchandise. Now I'm going to go cry since my whole class saw my crotch

That is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE -- there is another reveiwer that had the same problem

What is going on -- sheer and seams split!!

I ordered the the new pink print pacesetter and the rejuvenate pullover in dune. Hopefully some more running skirts will be released soon!

What's with the return of sold out items on WMTM? I was excited to see the scoop neck tanks and the Bundle Up jacket back but when I clicked on them there wasn't any size or color left. *sigh*

Anonymous said...

I think the new print looks cute! I'm getting kind of tired of all the Pace Setter skirts, but maybe that's because I don't workout in skirts! I agree with you on the aquamarine looking fabulous with that darker blue!

Anonymous said...

Just the fresh teal CRB for me. Would love a crb or energy bra in that bubilicious pink!! I really like that new parfait pink print, not sure what piece I'd like to see it in as a CRB might be too poly these days (given the crap quality of late), and speed shorts would probably be super sheer in a white print!! Maybe it would be nice as the inside print of a bag (anyone else notice how they're using the same boring brown/white striped bag liners?? All the bags in the last few months have the same liner, it's an ugly and is a vey obvious cost saving measure!)

Just received my out & about pant by FedEx (took extra long this time for some reason). Never liked the look of them in dune, however, I ordered the black and they are gorgeous. The material is so soft and stretchy and very comfy. I ordered the 8 (fluctuate between 6 & 8 on bottom with lulu) and the 8 is a wee bit loose (probably could have gone with a 6) waist is a bit big but nothing a nice summer belt won't fix. Wearing them today with a new pair of Tom wedges and a new Lulu spring jacket........springy and gorgeous outfit :)). Love!!

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. I like the pacesetter pink print but I have two, and that's plenty. I think it's the model's tan legs I really want to order. Mine are pasty white after winter.

RunLikeTheWind said...

Tempted by the pop orange CRB. Missed out last year. Wonder if it is too orangey.

Anonymous said...

Am I the only one that's wondering what happened to Frond? Pop Orange has been around forever. I'd love a solid CRB in Frond or a Tame Me.

Anonymous said...

Ordered the frangipani parfait pace setter for my 12 yr old (competitive runner) and its too cutie pie for my liking thank you! Also trying the flow and go in black for boating this summer as I would never wear it for anything but casual hot weather wear. Curious about the street to studio but will wait for feedback (worry about rolling waist band, etc) as the latest studio pants/crops lulu is churning out all have a very annoying rolling waist (smarten up design team and stop trying to cut so many corners lulu). So a no go on those for now! Have worn Lulu for 10+ yrs and NEVER returned a thing ........ In the last year I return at least one thing from each order (frustrating)! Received my out & about pants in black and LOVE!

Ordered the frangipani pacesetter. So excited! I love it.

Question: are pop orange and bleached coral very similar in color? Bleached coral is a soft, non-polyesterish feeling tank, so I would hope pop orange is the same...

Anonymous said...

@anon 5:55am - I bought the fresh teal CRB in my local store last week. I love the feel of it - not too polyesterish for me.

Anonymous said...

Did anyone notice the Swiftly in the scarf picture? I will take the darker blue in a CRB, swiftly, tame me and pacesetter please! Love blue!

Anonymous said...

It's a pop orange form

Anonymous said...

Is it just me or do the newly uploaded pacesetter skirts look shorter? Maybe it's the model, but I would be annoyed if they messed with the length.

Also, the new print looks cute, but I would only consider it if it were 4 way stretch. Those two way stretch skirts get super wrinkly and the pleats never sit right.

Anonymous said...

Anyone see the new front page on the Aussie site? I'm wondering what that black long sleeve is...looks like a slight cowl neck? Is this a new top??

Anonymous said...

I already have an angel blue pace setter and I am pinked out in the same skirt as well, but I think the pink floral pattern is nice, maybe if a bra comes out in it I will purchase it.
6:29 when I saw the proceed with speed crop at the store I felt the material and took a good look at them and they just seemed really flimsy so I left them behind. I really don't want delicate clothing for working out. I am sorry hopefully lulu will replace or exchange those for you.

What ever happened to the inkwell pinstripe gather and crow crops? Did I miss that upload or was it recalled?

Anonymous said...

OT - Wasn't there a pop orange cool racerback out last summer? I'm confused, why is it back? I didn't think Lulu reproduced identical items in identical colors???

Jennifer said...

Run like the wind- pop orange is much more neon/bright than bleached coral. Its too bright for me, think it goes better with darker tan skin. Coral is more on the pink side.

Anonymous said...

I got the tame me tank in faded zap and studio crops in black, dune was already sold out, crazy. Tempted by the flow n go but I bought 2 no limits tanks recently and they look like the same deal, same price but way cuter. Also want the white scuba, will hold out a few weeks. The aqua scarf is cute but so not worth $50 IMO.

anneverzel said...

@ anon 7:32-The top in the scarf pic looks like the turn it up tee to me:)

OT the embody crop material is pretty thick, but a little rough, just in case anybody is ordering on line. If you like thick luon this one will work.

Can someone help with information on CRB? I was at my local LLL store last week and mentioned to educator the sheerness of material. She informed me that the CRB is made of Luon Light. I have only started to notice new styles of CRB sheerness and was surprised to hear that fabricis Luon Light. Have they changed fabrics for beloved CRB? Please tell it ain't so!

the model with the hope tattoo is very tall. That may be the reason why the skirt looks shorter on her.

The very green CRB! And, then I woke up and found it was just a dream. *sigh*

I'm curious about aquamarine. I have the aquamarine push your limits tank (w/discover stripe) from last year, and this year's seems to look more blue. Last year I think there was a teensy bit more green. More like fresh teal.

Anonymous said...

Just purchased the street to studio jacket in frond (surprisingly color looks really good on me) and the run layer me long sleeve in bleached coral/dune/black. I golf a lot so this will come in handy for the cooler mornings :)

Anonymous said...

I ordered the Fresh Teal and Pop Orange CRB's. These are by far my fav tanks by LULU. Also ordered the Free To Be bra in the fresh teal. Thought it would be a cute combo under most of the CRB's and tanks I have. I also ordered the cool scarf in the aquamarine. I am a scarf girl and I thought the combination of a scarf out of LULU material would be a win! We'll see. Last week I ordered the Inspire Crops II's in the Wee Are From Space/Inkwell. I love them. Very comfortable and super cute on. I also got the Turn It Up longsleeve in the Pop Orange. Very cute! I sized down because of the way it looks on the model to a size 4 and it fits great up top, but it's snug aroung the hip area. I thought it might end up being a little baggier, but it still looks great! Loving my purchases recently.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone have the pop orange LS swiftly? What is the colour like in person in the swiftly? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Weird, I got the weekly email from my local store with the new products and in that email it showed the Run:Speed Squad Shorts Caspian blue/deep coal, Run Roll Down Short, Nothing But Run Jacket and the Velo Vixen Sleeveless Jersey in Ray. I think those are years styles - in the email it also had some new items such as Street to Studio Crop and the rash guards. Has anyone else seen this?

Anonymous said...

Didn't buy a thing. Which is becoming pretty common. Nothing in these last several uploads has excited me at all. Yeah, it looks nice, but for the $$$ and the sheerness factor in most all the pants...it's going to have to really wow me to get purchased. And it's probably going to have to be a top. I'm so glad I have hung on to my grooves and groove crops from 3+ years ago. They are thick and nice.

Anonymous said...

I ordered the pink pacesetter skirt. Love the new pink and the print. I am so disappointed there has not been more very green. That is one of lululemon's best colors so far. I hope they upload more items in it before moving on to the next colors. I would have ordered a flow and go, but none of the colors interested me. I guess pop orange is this year's flash. Every week, there is more and more!

Anonymous said...

it's unfortunate......

Monday: lulu problem discussion, customers are outraged and profess to not buy any more until quality is improved
Tues: customers splurge on all the new colors and prints
Wed - Sunday.....repeat of Monday

Just left the store. Teal crb is pretty, soft, but almost exactly like the.mint moment I was wearing. Floral pacesetter too pale for me. Embrace crops went see thru on me. Loved the faded zap color in Street to Studio jacket but way too short. Out and about pants were not flattering on me- too saggy. Had a gift card, but left with nothing. I can't resist their jackets if they are the proper length, but they are all super short these days.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 9:57 am - The CRBs have always been made of luon light. Some of the lighter colors are pretty sheer - the faded zap and dune are super sheer and I passed on those.

Anonymous said...

I thought about buying a Flow and Go tank, but I'm not that interested in the colors. Same with the Tame Me Tank. I LOVE my Tame Me tank from last year and I want to get another one, but I would rather get one in a dark or bright color (like a new blue). I like the new pink; I'd like to see more items in that color. I wish they had more items in Very Green also.

Anonymous said...

Love the fresh teal CRB! And the reverse side has the gorgeous very green stitching - snapped it up in store today :)

Anonymous said...

Again, we can see the grayish CRB under the pink hoodie that you noted on the headwear picture. It look like I nice basic, witch I'm more a fan than bright crazy prints.

Anonymous said...

@anonymous 12:06- totally. This girl didn't order a thing. More money in my pocket!

I used to work there and now I'm boycotting buying anything unless it changes.... But based on the decline of style and quality in the last few years, I'm not holding my breath.

Also, did you all see the poor lady's review about her crotch being exposed because of the seems busting open? That. Is. AWFUL.

Anonymous said...

I really hope we'll see CRBs in some of the deeper/brighter colors: pinkelicious, beach blanket blue, very green. The neons and very light colors make pale girls like me look even more washed out!

Plus I've decided that going forward, I'm only buying staples: CRBs, swiftlys and WUs.

Anonymous said...

I saw the Street to Studio Crops and sadly the quality has gone down. For some strange reason the crotch is made of a different fabric than the rest of the crop. It is thin and imo sheer. The swift fabrics is fine just like years past but why would they change the fabric on the crotch, and only a part of it. It felt weird, it was not even with the front. I was told it would be more durable, the problem with last years crops was the unravelling of the stitching on the waistband, not the crotch area.

Lululemon is going downhill fast.

Anonymous said...

“Meh” on the product offerings; generally not interested in anything lately. Love a new CRB but the Fresh Teal can wait. Not overly eager to have it.
@ 6:29 AM, thanks for the heads up on that review. The majority of the reviews for the Proceed with Speed crop are negative. Sadly this does not surprise me with LLL items of late. I have a good amount of crops (shirts, CRB’s, jackets) from 2010-2012 and all of mine are solid. I love the Run Excel crop, they get worn the most out of all the ones I own. If they brought them back I would not have faith in the quality. Any crop review from late 2012 seems to speak to the poorest of quality and things really coming apart. Even if new crops are good looking (although imo they are not, not a fan of Pace or Embody crop), I decline to purchase as I think quality is terrible now.
@ 6:34 AM, I noticed that this too (early a.m. Eastern Std Time), items back on wmtm. Thought people would be over the moon about discounted Scoop neck tops, No Limits Tank, BU Reflect Jacket (love my BU jacket, non-reflect version) etc. I'm not an expert but I think these uploads are sometimes a “phantom” type thing, items were never available again in any size and were mistakenly uploaded. An item should disappear after the sizes are gone? I’ve noticed sometimes items remain on the site for a while even though sizes are long gone. Or maybe there was literally just one or two of the items available and they snatched up.

Anonymous said...

Didn't even look at the upload--I refuse to buy anything until Lulu learns what customer service is.

Anonymous said...

WHY oh WHY are there not more tops in Very Green?

I would have snapped up a solid Very Green CRB and Power Y. And probably a Flow and Go or a No Limits, too. And a Swiftly in any sleeve length.

Where are they?? I am 100 percent sure that all of those items would have sold extremely well.

Anonymous said...

Yup, I bought it last year around July or August... I loved the ray tank too but it kept soaking up the color of my sports bra and it looked like I was sweating color. Wish they would bring back Ray with out the defects.

LuluAddict said...

@ Beth - thanks for the link. The jacket looks interesting.

Question about luon yoga bottoms: it is normal for the material to pill?? There is some pilling in the crotch area and (randomly) on the back of the calf. Also everything sticks to them!! I just purchased my first pair of wunder under (astro waist) in January and they are already looking very shabby. I'm considering contacting them to see if there is any possible solution but I hate to go through all that if it means replacing this pair with another pair that will end up pilling as well. Can anyone advise on this matter?

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. The Lulu spell has worn off, and their window displays joking about sheerness and hiring men to judge sheerness are beyond offensive.

I may get an Energy bra if it comes out in bruised berry or something. But outside of that, my gaze is turned toward other brands. I hate Lulu's ethics (lack of), the colors lately, the horrid color blocking, and all the horror stories about unraveling seams and other evidence of greedy shortcuts.

And to whomever things that people are griping and then buying like crazy, and back and forth, I think it's separate people you're observing. I used to buy like crazy. Haven't in about a year. I think lots of us commenters have reduced our Lulu spending drastically. We may be seduced on occasion by an item or color, but nothing like the wild spending abandon of years past.

Anonymous said...

I agree that we need more very green items!!!! I want a solid very green crb so so badly :( very green speed shorts or SS swiftly (no fugly dots), would be nice too. Hey since I'm obviously dreaming of the lulu greatness of old, why not throw in a heathered very green define jacket. Oh man, that would be the loveliest thing. Oh well, time to wake up now :(

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 5:18 pm - Totally. I think tons of the hardcore fans have reduced their spending by a LOT. Like you said a particular item or color will seduce them into buying but it's nowhere near it was 18 months ago.

Totally agree on the window displays. I've read more than a few comments lately that some people are almost ashamed to wear the lululemon logo on their pants in public because their acquaintances and even strangers feel free to tell them about their sheer pants.

aimee said...

So disappointed at the Flow and Go Tank color options; my favorite tank... my least favorite colors. I thought for sure I'd at least be buying a couple of these. It's yet another week that I've ordered nothing. :(
