I don't like the straps in the back. I find that unless you're really thin you get icky back fat showing. I prefer straps that are wider and keep everything flat.
Did anyone else purchase the bleached coral crb and notice that it's not reversible? That the lulu emblem is only on one side? That the stitching is the same color?
I emailed the GEC and they said It's reversible. But the tag doesn't even say it is.
@anon 3:35 pm - I have the bleached coral. I think they've been leaving that second symbol off for w few months now, though the stitching is usually a contrasting color. I never reverse them so it doesn't bug me.
I feel like the lack of the logo is exactly what makes it reversible... the only way I will wear them by themselves when not working out is when the logo is on the inside -- its a HUGE improvement.
They don't really seem reversible to me, because of the hem on the bottom. Maybe the black one is truly not going to look inside out, but that's about it.
@anon 3:35 - I think it started sometime in Nov. The beaming blue isn't reversible, nor is the inkwell (even though that one has flare contrasted stitching).
@ anon 7:32 pm - thanks!! I couldn't find that color mat on the website until I put it in the "search" box. It looks a bit like carnation in the web photo but those can be deceiving.
I bought a black flow and go in NYC... one educator said it was a fluke return, and another said they were back! So it looks like the second girl was right! I LOVE the black! :)
This is one awkward tank top. I wanted to love it the last time, but it failed. 4 was the smallest size and I really needed a 2. The back straps gapped and just hung there giving ZERO support. On the opposite end, it is back fat city if you get it too small.
My Inkwell CRB doesn't have flare contrast stitching!? Also, the last 3 CRB's I've ordered have no second logo and no contrast stitching, they also are very, very thin and feel a lot cheaper than the CRB's of old. I may not buy anymore for a while if they continue their decline in quality.
Porcelaine, Pigment & Angel Blue were among the last CRB's that had the logo on the inside as well. I have the other colours mentioned above that have no logo inside. Black Swan has good contrast stitching. The only one I occasionally wear reversed is Angel Blue, it has a nice contrast in dark blue, similar look to the fresh teal one pictured in the banner photo.
Honestly, I think lulu did the "reversible" thing on the CRBs for a while so that people wouldn't flip out when they jacked the price on CRBs from $39 to $42 (they both happened around the same time) but now that they're cutting out features and "cost cutting", the reversible CRBs got the axe...
Costs less to manufacture and from what I can tell, all Lulu cares about anymore is the bottom line and saving a few dollars wherever they can, even if it pisses the customer off or makes us less likely to buy things. I miss old lulu!
I have the rejuvenate pullover in bleached coral (wearing it right now) and I really like it and have worn it a lot already. It is really nice thick french terry, I like how the high low hem looks and the zippers are a nice detail.
I only recently started buying CRBs and I got one from eBay from last spring/summer: heathered ultraviolet. What a difference in texture--the ultraviolet one is WAY thicker and softer.
The Flow and Glow tank is my favorite lululemon tank. It's aboslutely stunning and very elegant. The back has a beautiful design that keeps me cool during my workouts. I'm a size 4 and this tank provides great coverage and support for my 34B chest. As someone mentioned, it does look as if the straps are not flat/wider than the previous two versions. It that is the case, I am not sure I'll be getting more, because one of the things I like the most are exactly the thin straps in a contrasting color. One last thing, this is one of those designs that look much better in solid dark colors, black, black swan, etc.
RunItMyWay 7:40, of course you are totally right, it's a cost saving measure. It's just like the triangle gusset which is easier to assemble than a diamond one. Thinner luon, thinner cheap Ebb & Flow material, same goes for the new In the Flow, and on and on.
@ 4:58, I have seen Inkwell with contrast stitching inside and without. I didn't bother to look where each was manufactured. I looked at it in store but passed on it. I already have Black Swan and prefer it, couldn't see myself reaching for inkwell over BS. I still actually want a regular black CRB but I'm going to wait until a round of "Made In Canada" ones show up in store. Some white and black still are.
This is one of my favorite tanks ever. Not great for working out but perfect for light yoga, pilates and just lounging. I actually wore it last weekend in the Palm Desert store and three people mentioned they hoped it would come back. Unless it's drastically different than last year (which is probably the case since everything is different), I am getting as many as possible!
I think the tank is really pretty, and yes it looks like it has absolutely no support for larger chested ladies, I also think that one would have to have very low body fat to wear such a top. it looks great as an evening top, or for light yoga.

Yikes! The top part of the straps are odd! What the fack!?!!? I hope it doesn't change the smoothness of the tank! I have 3!
By the way does anyone have the rejuvenate pullover!? What do they think!?

Interesting... Looks like the straps are much thicker this time around, which I would consider an improvement.

Just checked my Mellow Lemon/Burned Yellow Ocean Stripe CRB and that doesn't have constrasting stitching either - how boring of them.

@LLA yea! That's what I mean! How boring of them! I still have the tags attached! My shell pink has contrast stitching!

I noticed that too. It's also thin and not very soft
Heard from an insider.... The colour of this tank is a new pink called "bubble gum". "The mat" already comes in it.
