I really like the pinstripe WU and would really like to try on the pinstripe pace skirt to see what it looks like on. It is a neat and rather different look that will probably look great with all the other bright colors that are out right now.
i am not a fan of the puri tee at all. i have a couple of 'burnout' material shirts i love that i wear with jeans, i will stick to those.
i love the outfit with the pin striped pace and street to studio jacket. too bad i hate the length/cut of that jacket. it sure is cute on some, not for me! it makes me think of my 80s fashion statements...and i don't need to go there!
i ended up with a pace skirt in plain black and i like the length on me but i am short. also no muffin top with the waistband. i know others were not so thrilled, but it works for me. i don't pick running skirts often, mind you, i only have one other. its a pace setter skirt. i do wear it, but i reach for crops 9/10 runs. i bought it as i am on the hunt for some super hot weather alternatives, more for vacation runs/exercise so don't need a ton, just a couple options.
also received my layer me ls in faded zap. wow what a great fun colour. the sleeves are too long in my size. it is definitely not a cold weather top, im thinking it will be ok for fall when i want coverage but not too much warmth. the sleeves might drive me nuts and cause a problem, will see.
passing on all crops/pants. quality fabric just isn't there. i cannot be bothered to have my husband check if he can see my underwear or butt before i leave the house:) i have found other brands to love for crops/pants, not cheaper but great quality.
i would love a crb in faded zap but it will likely be very sheer so likely a pass. that faded zap pace setter looks pretty sheer but it might just be a weird shadow? don't think its a 'bottom' colour for me, im more into the darks for bottoms, brights for tops. my comfort level anyways.
my vacation goal running outfit lol...my black pace skirt with any colour energy bra! hello gym:) the abs need much work! i have until december and i am not counting pounds (who knows) just muscle tone. don't need to look perfect, just want to beat the heat and feel comfortable with how i look.
I hadn't really given the pace skirt much thought because I love love love the pace setter skirt. But something about the inkwell stripe pace skirt is really speaking to me. Looks like it would be a great option for casual/chasing the kids around wear. Will pair nicely with all these spring colors too!
Would also like to see the Pinstripe WU's in a crop. Finally a stripe pattern/look I can get on board with (unlike those clown/metal band ones they released).
I do wish that emerald green CRB would come out already.
Tried on studio jacket and also the pullover with side zippers, neither seemed worth price. These were recommendations by educator on shorter length items since the scubas were too long. Would only consider if it was MD. Now I understand the lack of side panel complaints. I'm 5'2 and the shorter length doesn't help me in scuba. Still bunches up on the back and makes it seem like I'm small or it's too tight. If I size up then its just too big and looks like I'm wearing my big brothers sweater. Not form fitting if you are petite, and based on reviews, taller women don't like the length either. I think it only works if you have narrow hips.
YAY! Pinstripes are back. My old pinstripe WUC are getting tired. I also have a matching pinstripe market jacket to match. It is the best Lulu outfit ever. I call it my "tuxedo" for when I need to look really sharp in the studio.
Pretty sure the new Faded Zap CRB will have tiny pink polka dots on it. Look at the Bleached Coral Rejuvinate Pullover on the Lulu website...the model is wearing a Faded zap tank and if you look at in in zoom mode you can see pink polka dots on it.
I tried on the pace skirt in a store yesterday and was pleasantly surprised on how flattering it is! I'm an 8 in the pacesetter, but the 6 in the pace skirt fit best. If it had a back zipper pocket, it would have come home with me right then and there! I'm still in the fence, and may pick up this inkwell one ...
Picked up the pinstripe WU today. It's rare that I see something that I have to run out and buy right away, but I know these will sell out quick, especially in the smaller sizes (they always have cute colors in 10-12, but barely anything in 4-6). They are a little sheer, as expected, but it doesn't really bother me.
Jen- was the pace skirt super short? I want one really bad, but I have the full stride skirt, and find that to be on the shorter side. I believe the pace skirt is an inch shorter.
Anon 8:42 - it is shorter than the full stride skirt in my opinion. I also think it runs larger. I am a 6 in pacesetter and the 6 in full stride was fitted. The pace in 6 was too "relaxed" on me. I didn't try a size down since the 6 was already too short (and too wide) for me.

Ooohh ! I'm liking the striped Wunder Unders. I hope they are soft and a good thickness... like old Lulu. Crossing my fingers.

Love the inkwell pace skirt! The pattern is so pretty, but I tried the skirt in another color and the cutting/style just didn't work for me :(
The pinstripes remind me of my favorite slacks for work. Worlds colliding!
