NEW! Bleached Coral/Pop Orange Energy Bra

New from Australia - the Energy bra is back in Bleached Coral/Pop Orange. I love it! Also shown are Frond Green crops but I don't know whether they are luon or something else. Update - a reader comments they are Wunder Under crops in the top photo. We have seen hints of new green crops on the Australian website but can't tell from the above photo if they are those:

On the Aussie site, they look like ebb and flows. The close up in the vinyasa to vino pictures shows the web pattern.

Can the US/CAD side expect some energy bras tonight? *wishes upon star*

They look like ebb & flows in the last pic. I think they are gathered at them bottom like them. If they are... a light color like that will be scandalous when bending over-lol!

The crops are wunder under crops :)

Yay!!!! I love all of it!!!!!!!

Love the look of that Energy bra. I bought the Bleached Coral CRB last week and was hoping to find a nice light-coloured Energy bra to go underneath.

Really hoping it makes its way to Canada in the next couple of weeks!!

LOVE the Energy bra! So happy that it's back. Hoping the design hasn't been messed up (like everything else).

Nice to see a new knee length and fitted to the knee crop. I don't want green though. Black Swan would be great.

LLA- what time is the upload now? Thinking of staying up for the energy bras!!! TIA!

The color on the banner of the Ebb & Flow looks like some minty version of Frond--maybe it's my monitor, but it's really pretty. But wow that will be a nice change for those craving something new in bottoms. Not for me--I stick with the blues, blacks, greys, and purples for my lower half.

The crops in the bottom photo are not Ebb & Flows. E&Fs have one gathered seam at the bottom, and the ones in the picture have two. E&Fs also don't have any seaming going up the side of the leg (other than that 4-6" gathered section at the bottom), whereas the pictured ones do have a seam all the way up. I don't know what they are, but they're definitely not E&Fs.

Question for the Energy Bra fans out there - how would you say they run size-wise? I am a 6 in most things Lulu (size 4 in CRBs), including the All Sport Bra (which I love to run in as it holds everything in place nicely), and for reference, I am a 32D. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Green wunder under pants and energy bra. My wish has come true. My rounder under pants have little pin holes around the knee after just one wash I am so bummed.

Lusting over those crops in the bottom pic in multiple colors!!! The ruching seems to be slightly different than E&Fs though and shorter.

Does anyone know if the Energy bra flattens you out?

I've been waiting for the energy bra to come back as I started to get interested in buying one after they stopped making them for awhile. SIGH!

I was wondering about sizing. I can wear a 8 or 10 in CRBs, depending on the fabric and I'm a 36D in regular bras. I'm not sure whether to get a size 8 or 10 energy bra.

Does anyone have any advice?

I'm not a huge fan of the bleached coral...I thought I would like it but find it too pale in person.

Those frond crops must be mine!! I am loving this new colorway.

@ anon 7:21 am - I think the upload has been around 9:45 pm pacific time. However, those photos were from an Australian store and that bra is not in North America yet so I am uncertain whether they would be uploaded tonight.

@ anon 8:25 am - I think the Energy flattens you a little but not nearly as much as the All Sport. At least for me that is the case.

@ MG (anon 7:56) If i were you i'd stick with the 6 in the energy bra. I'm a 34C and it fits well but there's still a bit of room if my boobs were bigger. If you went up to an 8 you might find that the band is too loose! Hope this helps!

I took a 4 in the energy bra (only cause that's all they had left) I take a 6 in the all sport. I am a 32 c I think? Nursing still so they go up and down and normally I'm a very small b. I like compression and I have a very small rib cage. I take a 6 in crbs and an 8 in scoop tanks. I hope this info helps you.

thx LLA on upload time!

anon 7:56 AM - I am TTS in Energy bra and am same size as you - debated between 6 & 8 but am realy glad I stuck with the 6 and ran a half in it and it was great!

anon 8:25 - the energy bra does flatten you out a bit but not too bad. I usually do energy bra for running/cardio and free to be for yoga.

Anon 7:56/9:54: I'm a 6 in CRBs (34c/d) and have both the 6 and the 8 in the energy bra. I find that the 6 is a bit tight around the rib cage, and does flatten me out, but holds me in well. The 8 isn't too loose, but I keep the cups in (no cups for the 6). I like both sizes and will run in them both. Recommend to buy one in each size and try on. I love the energy bra ... Looking forward to buying many more in whichever of my size is available. :)

The only bra that doesn't seem to "flatten you out" is the ta ta tamer, but I find that bra way to uncomfortable to wear...

I size down in the Energy Bra. I'm a 34D, usually a 10 but occasionally an 8 in Lulu tops and pants, and I wear an 8 in the Energy Bra. It flattens a little, but no more than any other sports bra I own except for the TTT. I don't have an All Sport to compare it to.

It probably depends on your preferences, though. I'm not very busty (despite my bra size!), and I like a lot of support. If you have a larger chest or don't need as much support, staying true to size might work for you.

Thanks everyone for your advice on the energy bra sizing! It sounds like a 6 is likely my best bet, especially for running.

Thanks again!

I heard SOOO many people people on here RAVE about the energy bra. Bought it in the size I usually run and it was waaaay too large! it was way too much bra for my liking! hated it so much, I sold it! LOL Would not recommend! :(

I looked at the picture on the Aussie site. The crops in the banner photo are not the current Ebb & Flow ii or the E&F i. They do, however, look like the same technology and I love that they are knee length; I also dig ruching. I'll pass on green and take a neutral black, blue etc. I hope they are not bloody see-through! The E&F ii are and the E&F i are not!

So a shout out to my larger busted ladies on here: (since no Lulu bra will EVER work for my 32H girls...) I saw a while back that someone had commented that the Panache sports bra worked well under a CRB for them, but I finally got the chance to try on the Panache, and it seem to me that the straps would still stick out of the racer back. Also, I find the CRB scoop neck to be super low on me (these girls sit high!) and the Panache gave me full coverage to the point that I would think the bra would show in the front too....
Can anyone comment on this at all? I really want to live te CRBs, but I'm having a hard time making them work for me!! If the straps/racer back was shorter, it would be perfect (or if the scoop wasn't so low in the front).... :(

just saw my store got the CRB and power Y in mellow yellow!

I only wear the Energy bra for walking, as it does not hold my 36DD ladies in place very well. It is sooooo comfy, but I tend to get uni-boob from it. I just have one of them, and I don't plan on buying another. Waiting for the Cross My Heart bra to return!

I am a 34C and do a 6 in the energy bra. It is enough support but not super tight so prob would be ok for a cup size bigger too. I also wear a 6 in CRB but am probably on the higher end of 6. I needed an 8 in the All-Sport bra. I have the angel blue energy bra and want the bleached coral! Just signed up for my first half marathon in June so will be running a lot and the energy has enough coverage to wear without a shirt for me.

Is the energy bra best for larger chested women? How is it for smaller chested women?

Anonymous said...

@12:19 ah! I thought I was the only one that doesn't love the Ta Ta Tamer. Everyone else raves about it!

I'm looking forward to the energy bra.

I am 32C/30D and wear a size 4 in the energy bra which works great for high impact activities like running. The size 6 bra fit as well, but the band was a bit too loose for my taste for high impact. Hope this helps! It's is my favorite bra!

@ Anon 3:29 I find the Energy Bra too big for me (I'm a 32B). It sits too low on my ribcage, and is too roomy through the bust. If there was an option to buy a size 2, I think it would work. Having tried it on a few times, that's my experience.

Anonymous said...

If you find a bra that fits under crbs and has sufficient coverage PLEASE make a giant announcement! 36DD here and I don't find LLL bras work :( not for running anyway. I'm a size 10- not plus size but I have found addition elle bras work- separate and underwire! But of course show under crbs.

Agree with the other two commentors in regards to the frond crop not being the E&F I nor II, but of the same "family". Love it for now!

Anonymous said...

@2:26 agree! I love the ruching & would love a neutral color!

@anon 3:29. I'm a 34B, size 6 in everything, including thr energy bra. It's definitely a high coverage bra of you're small chested. I wear it running because the straps are comfortable (I can also wear flow y running, or even just shelf tanks, but I like running in the energy bra). What I like about it is that I feel like I can get away with wearing it as a top when I'm rocking climbing midsummer or on a summer run without worrying about it being TOO low when stretching, in awkward positions, etc. I do feel like it could be filled out a bit more, but I still dont think it looks too big.

Glad the Energy is back (I want the Cross My Heart back toooo!!). I'm not thrilled about the Bleached Coral color though, it won't look good on my skin tone. It's supposed to be coming out in more colors as spring approaches, right??

I love the Moving Comfort rebound racer bra. I am a 36dd and no lulu bra can hold me in for an intense workout like this bra. I wear then with crbs and I really think they are super! Just wish they were prettier.

I am a 34dd and where a size 10 in energy bra with cups so it does not flatten them out. I am a usual 8 in all lulu tops!

I am a 36DD I cannot stand my TTT.
Even with using it as a Racerback it cuts into my underarms and it definitely gives me a uniboob. I like (not love) the VSX Victoria Secret Pro Sport Bra and the VSX Incredible Bra. If anybody has some other bra suggestions with support that don't make me feel like I am bound, please please advise.

YAY! I LOVE the Energy Bra and I am in need of a new one soon :)
