Devotion SS paired with Inkwell Stills.

New  liner-less Discipline shorts.

Some full-front photos of the new bonded, shorter Special Edition Cool Racerback. I am not liking it. It looks like big-box sports store wear.

I was at my local lululemon today and got my hands on a pair of Ebb & Flow Crops...I was so excited. I loved the fit, thought they fit even better than the WU Crops and was very excited to get them and wear them to yoga tonight. After I purchased them I realized I was so caught up in my excitement that I forgot to do a bend and check test for sheerness... I did one when I got home. Oh my gosh.... SO SHEER!!!!! I am so disappointed. I was looking forward to wearing them...they will be going back. Looks like I'm getting a pair of the WU pants after all.

Not special at all, that SE CRB.

Nice colour comparison of the pinks.

LLA, any insight into the Long Island WHS? I'm at my hotel across the street right now and can't wait to go tomorrow!

Just received the Strike Tight in Black Swan & Herringbone with Raspberry accent. Love the combo. They look very nice with my Bleached Coral CRB and really sharp with my white one. My local stores either didn't carry this crop or it was very limited stock. I normally never order something I can't try on first, but I gambled. They're great! I like a low rise and it's perfect, not too low (I'm very trim, flat stomach). Knee length is my favourite and the leg bands are comfy. I got my tts 4 and overall it's perfect. The Luon is thinner (and the way LLL has been going) than I'd like but fine and passes the bend test. They'll be worn in Bikram so thinner is probably better. I like them so much that I ordered a second pair from wmtm. I also ordered the Power Up Crop which I'm going to get hemmed to knee length (confirmed they can be). I tried those on in store. Very solid material and again, am a fan of the low rise.

@ anon 6:03 pm - the Fit chick in the city blog has some photos and a recap of the LI warehouse sale. It sounds pretty decent and much better than the Vancouver one.

OT- went to my local store today to check out the frond gingham crb. I'm not a CRB collector but I have 1 or 2. I tried it on and fell in love ! It will look great with some dune shorts I have from last summer. Not exactly summer weather right now... so the frond crb might not be worn for a while. But I like the fit and thinkness of the material. I find it camouflages the imperfections quite well ! :)

I just WISH Lulu had some consistency in their brand!! From one factory to another, it could mean a lot of difference!! Right now I own a bunch of MRTanks and currently 1 CRB. I had others but sold them. Too tight and the material too thick and constricting. I have one CRB in split pea and it's a little thinner and soft like butter. I didn't know what size to buy online at the time, so I picked up a size 8. Lost 30 lbs and the 8 looks so big on me. Im thinking of taking it somewhere to make it into a 4 or 6. I wish Lulu made more CRBs in the softer material or organic cotton. I miss my 5 year Pima T's!!! I still have an EH shirt from Lulu, but it's a size 10 and would need to be made into a size 6. (I lost all my big boobs)
About 8 months ago, Lululemon had a "computer clitch" for about 30 minutes (in Canada) and I went online and they had ALL the old Lulu listed online for buying!!! I was so excited because I could see the old Be stills and Lux hoodies and for one split second, I thought maybe they found some in their warehouse, hidden away! I even tried to purchase! LOL... I ran to get my credit card and when I clicked on the items I wanted, they unfortunately came up $0. :( Man was I ever disappointed. (Such is life) Leave it to Lulu to make such a gross mistake--posting all the vintage Lulu, to make its customers drool!

OT- has anyone seen the Practice freely tank in the stores?

On the topic of younger girls wearing LLL. First off I am 43 years old and I do not have kids. As a girl I got into sports young tennis / track and field, this early indroduction into sports allowed me to build a sense of teamwork and fitness that has served me well my entire life. I think it is nothing but good to build that foundation, I see kids with their parents at my local LLL store's free Sunday yoga class every week and I love it! I feel LLL clothes ok for younger girls if they are into these activities as far as the cost parents who are more well to do have always bought their children expensive clothing. What I hate are parents that allow their girls to run around half naked in things like tiny cutoff jean shorts!

FYI, I tried on the new white Swiftly tanks and they are super short. I'm short myself and short-waisted and I had to pass, even though I went in specifically for it. If I sized up, the length was great but then it became too loose, and I feel you should size down in Swiftly tanks.
But the girls in the store told me they will be bringing out longer versions for summer.
Confusing.

OT - I snagged a pair of the original released Ebb and Flows off eBay for a great price and in perfect condition, and now I understand what all the raving was about. They are sooooo fabulous --- the original, non-sheer ones. So glad I got them. It has totally made up for my disappointment in the reflect pullover fit on me. Happy Saturday :)

I was just looking back at some old posts from august of 2011... Sigh wren wee stripe scubas, cabin longsleeves, heathered ghost modern racer tank.. I practically wanted every product lulu was making! Now its hard to even find one i can get excited about. More neutrals and grays please! Enough with the neons already and the overpriced colorblocking cheaper-quality clothing please lululemon!!!
