Frond Energy Bra

I got my Frond Energy bra yesterday. I thought it fit the same as my other Energy bras and the support seemed the same, too, so not sure why lululemon changed the description to read low support. The bra came with the cups in it which I thought was a change. I don't remember it coming with cups before but I could be wrong. The photo shows it with a Limitless Blue CRB on the left and Beaming Blue on the right. I like how the blue and green looks together but then I realized it reminds me of Buzz Lightyear. It also looks really nice with Split Pea. I'll be playing with other color combos.

Yeh me too Love various shades of blue w/ green. The fond green will also look lovely w/ light grey and white! I have an old nike pullover thats all white w/ this exact shade of green that accents it and i always get so many compliments on it. it also pairs nicely w/ light aqua.

I was wondering why it says low support- and it seems like the description has changed from running to yoga. I am a 34C and find it be plenty support for running, definitely medium support. I got the bleached coral/pop orange and it came with cups inside too.

I ordered the black energy bra from the website at it came with cups in it as well... which I thought was strange. Maybe this is a new thing, which is awesome! I need the cups and it's annoying to have to ask for them in the store, when you haven't purchased the bra there.

I am so very confused by the "low support" description on the tag. As a 34 D I absolutely love this bra for running... I just ran 6 miles in my black energy bra today with little to no jiggling.

I also just received my bleached coral/pop orange energy bra in the mail today and noticed it was a bit snugger than my other energy bras which I totally love. It may just be that my other bras have stretched out a bit.

Not that I care but where are the please me pullovers on the Canadian side!

I do not like how the price increased! $6 for two cups! Luckily I had ordered 2 Black ones at the 42.00 price and ordered a yellow one after the new upload. I would love frond but they had none left in my size.

I don't think they're low support. I would notice, too- I used mine in HIIT recently, and they were fine.

Ive been buying a lot LESS from Lulu, since poor customer service and poor quality has come into play, more and more. I just wanted to add that now that Aritzia is online...they have been having daily uploads and will do so over the next 3-4 weeks. I have been very impressed w their excellent customer service and the merchandise I received! In fact, I have ordered now 3 times, from them....in two weeks. They are also going to be putting out more and more work out gear! I love their price points and have been very impressed with all my customer service experiences!! Their shipping on Canda is only $8 and it doesn't matter how much you order. They have very classy styles too! A pieces I ordered even said, "made in the USA" which really wowed me! :) I posted this...for anyone frustrated with lulu and looking for a nice change or alternative!

I ordered the bleached coral/pop orange energy bra before I read all the reviews about how this was not the bra for small-busted ladies. I am 34B and love it! Its perfect for my mma training which is high impact. Also didn't feel like there was extra material. So even if you are small-busted I wouldn't count this one out until you try it. My favoritr sports bra so far!

I must be crazy. I have a multitude of old Energy bras and definitely felt a difference with the support in these. The bra band seems a much stretchier, so much that I would need to wear a more supportive tank with them. I bought all three new colors and they all felt that way. Softer material but less supportive.

@8:22 I also noticed that the bleached coral energy is a bit snugger... Better fit IMO as the 6 was just a tad too roomy before.

Got my frond and PO/BC and both came with cups. I don't mind it. Bought one in a 6 and one in an 8 as I like the 8 for non impact (even though I just ran 7 miles in it today). Maybe it's me, but I don't see any difference in fit from last year's energy bras. Wow though ... These are by far my absolute favorite sports bra ever.

Is that the one with the zipper in the back? They were there after upload.. Maybe gone already??

OT but in some promo training pics of Ronda Rousey for her upcoming UFC fight she is wearing a grey lululemon run: team spirit long sleeve top! A good example of a real pro athlete sporting lulu gear :)

Love the Energy bra and would have loved to get some of the new colors, but the $6 price increase really chaps my hide. Sorry Lulu, you're not going to win this one. I will wear my current 2 until they're nothing but threads. Bummer...I really do love the colors that are out right now. However...put out a Frond Vinyasa (in Rulu!!) and I'll be all over it. How gorgeous would that be??

@HPSauce
I'm not 10:17 but I thought the Please Me Pullovers were the cropped hoodies that no one liked? They were on MD for $19 the day after Christmas and then jumped back to $49.

Youre really gonna complain about six more dollars when you already pay fifty for a sports bra? Once the price is that high does six dollars make a huge difference?

Alright, so lulu listened to us when we finally begged for some green, hooray! Now, wouldn't it be wonderful to have SEVERAL greens released this year?? I don't really consider mint moment green, maybe it's borderline seafoam. What I'm talking about it a nice Kelly, emerald, moss, or even bright neony greens (anything that is very evidently a shade of green really)!! I mean we've had a million pinks all at once, and then a bunch of blues were released together (beaming blue. Pigment blue limitless blue, inkwell) as well as now yellows (clarity yellow, burning yellow, mellow lemon), so why can't these throw us a bone and give us some selection of greens? I like frond but it just makes me want more and more green so my lulu color wheel is well rounded :P

I agree, aritzia is nice but calling it an alternative doesn't make sense.
lululemon is active wear. aritzia is not.

Those are the cropped ones! They wouldn't sell til they got to WMTM! And the have the hoods! Very soft silly design!

98$ only really worth 19$!

Whenever the GEC respond to the reviews on the lulu website they sound baked out of their minds! Like they are sitting around talking realllly slow! Haha!

anyone else having trouble returning items with the new prepaid label? i returned two items from separate orders with one return label about two weeks ago and it is still showing up as "item not received." typically, when i return something i get the return in progress email in about a week.

i wore my frone ftb bra with a heathered flash CRB...really cute together!

i think this year's energy bras fit just like last years. however, i recently purchased an older energy bra off of ebay, and it definitely fits looser/bigger. i don't know if it's actually larger, or just stretched out.

Yes! I shipped a return a week and a half ago and still haven't heard from them that they are even processing it yet! Wtf?! They usually take a week at most but this is ridiculous! Phew, I thought it was just me!

I can't believe how many lulu fakes are listed on Ebay right now. Item number 111011671657, title "Lululemon Purple Blue Scuba Hoodie NEW NWT Size 6 Sweatshirt Yoga Pants Outfit" includes a horrible and very poorly made Scuba knock-off. Do not bid on this!
Also, two define jackets, both size 4 one black and one purple, item #130849752242 & #140916284084 appear suspect/fake IMO. The size tag, inner lining, and cheapy shiny fabric look off. I wouldn't bid on these either.

@anon 5:51--yes, I am going to complain about a $6 increase in price. I've been purchasing Lulu for about a year and a half now, and in that time I've seen the prices significantly increase on several of their core items, including the CRB, the studio pants (both lined and unlined), and the groove pants, to name a few. While the prices have gone up, they have been outsourcing their manufacturing to China and other places overseas, and they're not passing that savings on to the company. Also, they've been having a lot of quality issues...things fall apart, colors bleed, inconsistent sizing, materials are scratchy and/or sheer, etc. Why should I continue to pay them MORE when they can't be bothered to provide us with quality products at a fair price? $6 is not the issue, it's the principle of the price increases that bother me. And at the end of the day, I work hard for my money, and it's my decision to spend it or not spend it wherever I choose. You can do whatever you choose with yours.

@8:43 - returns with the prepaid label are taking much longer to get back to lululemon. I had a couple returns and they took 2 to 2.5 weeks to be received (I'm in Michigan).

My frond energy bra fits really well, I didn't notice a difference. By the way the description on the label is definitely a mistake. this bra is great for running and plyometric work, for reference I am a 34D sometimes DD and I can run in this bra I can do yoga without worrying about falling out etc.
I was worried that the frond was going to bleed, but it didn't. Will definitely get the white one, and maybe another black one.

I have to be honest I never even saw the price increase because they haven't been released in awhile so I thought that was the price. So for me, yeah, 6 dollars is not a difference and agree your already near the 50 price mark anyway. Now the new stuff, colorblocking, stripes... That stuff is outrageously prices because it is so ugly, ill fitting and poor quality. I do have a problem with that.

I wonder when people will "wise up" and stop buying from Lulu??? People should not be allowed to continue complaining, if they keep BUYING! You cannot keep doing the same thing, over and over again and EXPECT different results?! Duuuu! Some people here, need a reality check. LOL Would you buy a car from a salesperson, who spit on you, kicked you and then sold you a car with a big dent on the hood? Most people would say NO WAY, but when it comes to LULU, it's YES! YES! YES! Please kick me again, I LOVE IT! (Shaking head)

The Energy bras weren't "basically $50," they were $42. I've never paid more for a sports bra than the $42 Energy bra, and I refuse to...I'm not paying more for a bra than I would for a technical tank. It's a sports bra. I have a bunch of the C9 sports bras from Target that work almost as well (with snugger tanks), and they were $15 a piece. So in this case, I am saying NO WAY to Lulu. In all honesty, I have a gift card from Christmas with a little leftover money on it, and once that's used up, I'm done. I get better deals on older Lulu on ebay anyway.

aritzia carries a lot of different, designer brands. They are known (in Canada) for their TNA Action line. Normally it's easier to find on line. On http://aritzia.com when you search- "tna action", you will find their current active items. The selection on line is not so great right now, it is generally better in store. The carry crops and shorts as someone else mentioned.

Also great hooded sweatshirts/hoodies if you are looking for alernatives.

If you're looking for really nice sweaters and wraps, go to the Roots website.

Yea Im a Roots girl too BTW...and I have the Roots site on my IPad. Honestly, I check their site out in Canada daily. They DON'T upload very much in the way of anything. Ive mentioned this to them before and it's like oh well...whatever. I don't bother much with Roots anymore, bec. Their online store is not much to be impressed with. I asked them about something on one of their models and they tell me it should be out in the next 1-2 weeks. It's a month later and NOTHING, so I bought from Aritzia. too bad Roots, you lost me! They are very POOR at managing their online store. (Same as Lulu) LOL You call a Roots store and ask if something you see online is in their store and it ISN'T and the girl on the phone acts like...you are disturbing them for even calling. LOL.... So....all the more to call Aritzia! :) Im all about companies who WANT my money, not companies that really don't care if I order or not. I love Roots, but Im not impressed with what they offer online.
