The floral print gets worse every time I see it. I wonder how much lighter Mint Moment is when compared to Methol?
The fit of the Pump It Up jacket looks horrible in every photo I've seen. There is an excess of material under the arms that does not look right. Why is Lulu trying to recreate the wheel? Just bring back the Define already.
I actually really like the pump it up jacket. Mind you, I have way too many LLL jackets and will not be purchasing it unless it hits WMTM and has a good mark down. But I do like it. I have two Beyond Yoga tops that have what people here are calling "bat wings" and I love the way it moves, looks, and feels.
Sad sad day for lulu. This stuff is just fug.

Relying in my older pieces these days.
So I heard a little rumor while I was out shopping yesterday at LLL in the GTA - Greater Toronto Area, they are not aloud to wear the old scuba's to work anymore.
I know educators are encouraged to wear new products -like most retailers, but when I complained to an educator (an educator whom I have shopped with for three years) about how much I was lusting after a "new" old scuba, she told me she agreed, and was not even aloud to wear her old one to work. Something about confusing customers and trying to get them to switch over to the new design.
Has anyone else heard this from educators, or is it just this store?
How much is the Pump it up jacket?
The girl in the top photo makes the jacket look cute. I can tell that it's the kind of piece I'd think looks cute on others, but if I bought it, I'd never be happy with the look. I'm not a huge fan of the dolman sleeves. The mint is pretty though.

Those floral pants seem to get pretty shear when they are stretched, judging by the photos. I'd hate to think what my runner's thighs would do. Sigh.

The last time I was in store (2 weeks before Christmas) the first thing that caught my eye was an old Remix jacket the educator was wearing. However I'm sure LLL does encourage them to wear the new products---no need for mannequins when you have models/educators/cashier/stockers
I thought the jacket was hideous in every photo but I tried it on today and was pleasantly surprised. I'm quite busty, so the jacket was relatively fitted and hung nicely. The mint colour is light but also bright in tone, so it's not too "blah" for my extremely pale skin. It made me look the opposite of sickly -- bought it right away.
And just to answer a previous comment: I'm actually an Educator in an Ontario lulu and we can wear anything we like, including older style Scubas! The girl you talked to must have been given that by her particular store, but company wide, it's nice to wear newer items but it's never a requirement. :)
@ anon 11:50 am - The photos don't do the jacket justice but from the comments I've read most of the people who try it on really like the Pump It Up jacket. I certainly didn't expect to buy a new jacket when I tried it on but I loved it.
