I'm not going to even talk about those awful color blocked WUs. |

Thanks to Ms. L for this photo. |
Ebb and Flow crops are arriving in the stores in four colors: Inkwell, Light Flare, Black, and Gray. They have oval gussets. Also shown is the new Burning Yellow 105F Singlet made of Silverescent Sheer Luon and the Flip Your Dog bras.
New Pirouette Plus bra made of luxtreme. Cute enough but definitely not for bustier women.
Back of the Burning Yellow 105F Singlet tank.
New Burning Yellow Cool Racerback and Work It Out Tank. I'll have to see the Burning Yellow in person to tell whether I like it. Yellows are tricky on me. Besides, I have to save my money to for the upcoming Frond color. I definitely have a list of tops I'd like to get in that.
New First Base LS in running luon. A nice basic but I am good as far as rulu tops go.

So this new bra, wouldn't be good for a gal who is a 34 D-DD? really??? I wear the flow Y bra in a size 8, with no problems.
There was a shell pink Chase Me skirt showing up in PNs a while back. I was hoping it was going to be uploaded. Is that not going to happen?
I was so excited about the light flare ebb and flows (and I realize that I may have been the only one), but I tried them on tonight and they are sheer! I didn't try on the other colors, so the others may be fine.
I actually love the burning yellow color. But, wow, I tried those color blocked WUs on today and they are tragic on my muscular frame. So tragic that I refused to even come out of the dressing room.
Just wanted to mention that this summer I bought indigo E&F crops and loved them so I went back to get another color but was HORRIFIED when I tried and the black and grey! They were like sheer pantyhose! I couldn't even show the educator because it looked OBSCENE! My advice it to be prepared to send them back in case they are sheer in the bum. I'm going to check them out in the store.
Do you think these ebb and flows will be exactly like the last release? They seem longer... I was about to snipe two pair on ebay but I think I will wait now and buy them new. Wahoo! Should they be uploaded tonight, do you think? :)
do we have prices for the e&f crops yet? And they look like full length pants on the first model.
The first base LS looks almost identical to the runder under LS black silvercent. Did lulu run out of silvercent and resided to call it first base? Wouldn't put it past those penny pinching SOBs
Dammit I wanted the black swan and raspberry glo ebb and flows :( why did they not come to north America?!?
What's the hype for about ebb and flows?
Decided, not resided... Darn auto correct!
Bloody finally on the Ebb & Flow ii's. I have have 2 pairs, I'll probably get one more. Disappointed that they are longer, much prefer the knee length of the i's. And grrross on the flare colour.
Why no Black Swan Ebb & Flow ii? Weren't they released in OZ/NZ? I wish they were knee length like the i's.
4:54 why the hype? They are seriously the most comfortable crop ever! I have a lot of LLL gear and these are the best. I have two pairs of the i's, grey and indigo. The crop is totally seamless except for the seams at the inside leg and gusset. They kick a** in hot yoga, including Bikram (I also do Vinyasa Flow), and are very flattering (I wear a 4, same as all other lll bottoms).
Regarding sheerness...such a crazy "debate". Unfortunately I don't think you can read the reviews of the i's (I even tried Googling, sometimes you can still find the item and read them). Some people have no issues, some have sheerness and say it's like pantyhose, like 3:45. I really don't believe in bad batches. I acquired them in the first go round and tried them again when they re-released them in store in 2012 - were exactly the same on me. I have very, very slight sheerness but wear nude, seamless underwear (NO thong!) and I am decent/keep it classy. Definitely do the bend test (not just in store) and have someone look at you; people have taken photos themself too.
What's the consensus on sheerness with ebb and flows? Would have to order as I don't live near a store and don't want to have to send them back if all colors will be sheer. Any word on black or indigo?
Also wondering if there's any word on how sheer the new ebb and flows are. Or whether gals should size up in these?
Athleta's answer to Ebb & Flows: Odyssey Chaturanga Yoga Knicker
http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=50002&vid=1&pid=268529012 Oh, and WAYYYYYY better customer service, pricing, return policy, and loyalty to its customers. 30% off retail in store for instructors/trainers, too, without proving where/when/how often you teach/train. Athleta knows clothes, doesn't necessarily follow any trend (how many prison stripes do you see in their catalogues?), and remembers where they came from and who supports them. And they don't have a corny set of mantras that they expect everyone else to follow except themselves. It's all about the she...
Nice, Burning Yellow CRB. As long as it's not fluorescent I'd be happy to have it!
I also want black swan ebb & flows! But as someone else asked above, do you think they're longer? The first release was a great length - I remember someone asking if the second release was longer, and these definitely look longer - anyone know for sure?
Thanks!
Are the grey Ebb and Flow ii's the same light grey as the last batch? Because that light grey is not the best for showing perspiration....
I tried on the black ebb and flows in the store today. The 8 s, which I wear in pretty much all lulu tights, we're see through when I bent over. Not pantyhose, but I could see tag and undies. The 10 were better--still a little sheer, but not indecent. I was behind a woman in a workout class the other day who had on a pair of navy ebb and flows--not sure if they were i's or ii's, but I could see Right through them to her entire bare rear!! Not descent.
i was bouncing around registering for sea wheeze. was it worth it? its quite far for me to travel but it seems like a good goal.
anyone who participated have any feedback?
thanks.
im not a robot but apparently i cannot read:) why are the damn letters so hard to read!!!! lol!
I bought the new ebb & flows tonight. In size 4, they are 5 inches longer than last year's. Inkwell was not sheer for me. Flare was extremely sheer. They were $78. I bought black, gray and indigo last year (v2, unless they'd been sitting around), and they were not sheer for me. The inkwell looked nice and feel nice. The rise on top was about 1/2 inch shorter and at the top of the waist this year's had about 3/4 inch more width in the same size.
Thanks! I had no clue why everyone was so excited... I'll maybe order a pair to check them out!
I had ZERO issues with the indigo but the grey was sheer and the black was even worse! It's almost like the indigo were thicker. I am a 0/2 in street wear and a 4 in LLL. Like I mentioned before... I was baffled at how the indigo could be amazing and the same crop in black could be so indecently sheer.
@ anon 7:33 pm - I went to the Sea Wheeze. I thought it was fantastic. The route is gorgeous, lots of course entertainment, and lots of fun energy. I think you will have a great time.
The E & F's are very flattering on once you get past the sheer or not sheer issue. They are not sheer to me and I got it in my usual size 4. The only drawback as far as Im concerned is the fabric. Its not totally the smoothest against your skin. It is not scratchy but if you're used to Luon, it's not the same. I have all the colors from the last release and rarely reach for them. When I feel sort of bloated though they are the ones I wear since they have this really nice seamless waistband that hides all that unsightliness. They are worth the money imo since they flatter a lot of figure and they will have a good resale value I'm sure.
Do you know how the ebb and flow crops size in comparison to the wunder unders (i.e. smaller, bigger, same)?? Thanks! :)
@Pearls & amp: Politics...
You would wear the same size in Ebb & Flows as you do in WUs... the biggest difference is the rise. I (like many others) absolutely cannot wear WUs because the rise is too low (we are talking MAJOR MT or CT). EFs have a much higher rise so they suck you in and are not prone to CT/MT problems:)
On a separate note... SUPER bummed about them being an entire 5 inches longer! That's RIDICULOUS. I'm only 5'4" and the old ones were PERFECT. These new ones will be like full length pants, and can't be hemmed because of the rouching on the sides. ARG.
@anon 7:33 - I went to SW last year and I've signed up again for this year. Coming from SoCal. It's a great race - more of a fun run than a race, depending on your goals. Great vibe surrounding the entire weekend. And it is truly THE lulu love-fest of the year. The course is beautiful, the city is fantastic, and there are lots of little surprises. They had a few hiccups last year (e.g. bag check), but hopefully these will be fixed for this year. I'm really looking forward to it again. You'll have a great time!
Will e&f sell out soon? Im on a no-buy for a week or two.. but really want to try a pair.
I love that the new ones are longer. The first version always rode up to right under my knee and i think that actually make my leg look shorter. I hope that the second version will stay put as mid-calf length.
@ 6:52 PM do not size up on the e&f, it will not resolve any sheerness issue. They will also bag out on you and get too loose all over. They have a lot of elastic in them, nature of the material
I totally disagree with the comment that the E&F are not comfortable against one's skin. They are definitely like a second skin they are SO comfortable! I notice no discomfort or distraction whatsoever. They are what I reach for the most when it comes to hot yoga.
Sizing is what you wear in other LLL bottoms/tts and sizing up will not resolve the sheerness issue.
Ebb and Flows are the best, like second skin. I thought sizing up helped with the sheerness but its still a little see through. I usually wear size 2 in wunder under and for Running tights, wear a 4 and took a size 4 in these.
I think I am the only one who doesn't like the E&F they seem like stockings to me I have to admit that they are flattering on most bodies, so I can see the allure.
not for me
