The girl modeling the wunder under pants in Fall transition quilt 12- she's not fat at all, but those pants cut into her sides in all the wrong areas and makes the side seem like it's a fatty problem, and that happens to me with these wunder under pants and wunder under- it's annoying. No matter how much I size up, it's still there! I like colored and wild printed wunder unders, but it's so hard to really buy them when all the wunder under cut into my sides.

Sandra said...

I was thinking the same thing! Those pants do not flatter her at all :/ she is far from being chubby...

Anonymous said...

holy muffin top with those WUC's!! why are those pants torturing her like that!

Minda said...

wow those bruised berry leggings sure do POP nicely!! How pretty! - The trinity bra looks like sideboob potential and reminds me of the flop (pun!) run zippy tank LOL.
The back looks really pretty and reminds me of an ivivvia (spelling?) symbol! Unfortunately those tiny straps are no match for my bazoombas and this would be an unflattering, unsupportive - in every possible way- including the skinny side panels, bra for me personally . . but I'm sure there are people out there who will rock it gorgeously with drop back tees!

-everytime i see a black swiftly tank I feel like I NEED ONE. So cute.

I know right... what is up with all the muffin top photos on the website lately!?! And the girls are in awesome shape! Something is wrong with these new pants...

Saw the deep indigo denim WU at my store yesterday and they are beautiful! There's definitely a purple hued sheen to them.

Very pretty color on pants. I like it better on the WU than on the in stride.

Focus said...

OT- currant scubas restocked.

Minda said...

Yes what Focus Said !!! CURRANT Scuba ALL SIZES!!

Anonymous said...

Oooo... if I wear a 4 in a Stride but 6 in Define what size Scuba?!?

Anonymous said...

The back of the Trinity bra is really cute, but the front is hideous. It also looks like it couldn't handle anything over an A cup.

Kristin said...

@ anon 4:40

I wear the same size in my defines and scubas. Scubas aren't as "stretchy" as other lulu jackets. Hope this helps.

I wonder why they keep restocking the currant scuba?? ISn't red one of the colors for fall? I love red and have a currant scuba that I got last winter. Love it. But living in FL, I cannot wear it as much as I want! Bring on the red.

Anonymous said...

can you post a pic of the pow pink WU's?? I want to know if they are see through or not in the back... what is up with the new WU fabric?? not huge fan.

Amy B said...

THE CURRENT SCUBA IS BACK ONLINE. ALL SIZES!!!!!! Hurry friends!

And lots of stuff is restocked and newWMTM!

Anonymous said...

Pow pink scoop me up tanks are restocked! Ordered one, yay! My 3rd scoop me up now. Love these.

Anonymous said...

The "Fall Transition Quilt 12" looks more like a Spring transition to me... Bring on the jewel tones and deep colors for fall. How about an emerald green for a change. Why is green always short changed or only available in pastel. :( Booo!

Currant is awesome! I guess they decided not to make a slightly different shade of red. I wonder if these are newly made and thus will possibly have the latest quality troubles?!? Hope for the best!

What is that orange T paired with the mirage bra above?

RunnerJ said...

@LLA why aren't you sure if you're keeping the pow pink define? i am excited to get mine

Anonymous said...

I'm passing...on ALL bright pinks! :( Not interested in dealing with all the hassle....of color bleeding and not living near a store. Lulu has a bad track record with that and until the problems are fixed....I'm on a huge Lulu diet! :)

Kristin said...

I love the trinity bra but I know I'd have side-boob issues. No go for me but pretty. The mirage leggings are growing on me. I don't know if I'd pull the trigger on them though. They look great w/ soooo many tops and colors. The more and more I see the pow pink, the more I love it. I didn't order any pow pink items due to my fear of bleeding.

I like the fuel belt; it has a place for everything. But I like the fuel belts w/ 1 bottle vs 3.

Anonymous said...

Currant scuba= US only :(

Jamie Barba said...

LA, is there another reason besides possible bleeding that you wouldn't keep the pow Define? My store gets theirs today. I'm so excited!!

Anonymous said...

Bleeding issues....is a good enough reason for it to stay in the store! LOL.... ;)

yogibabe said...

I hope Pink Peony gets her Currant scuba....if not, GET IT NOW!!!! You missed it the last time and were so bummed. Hurry, hurry all! Got mine when it made a "ninja" (as per Minda! lol!) appearance a few weeks ago, and been using it a lot at the beach, for my son's surf camp. Foggy up here and it warm me up prettily from 9am to 1pm. :)

Annie G. said...

Just ordered my currant scuba. SO excited!! :)

Anonymous said...

Agreed 6:33 am....although its a gorgeous color, if we all continue buying bleeding items from Lulu....well then...Lulu will know they can "get away" with continuing...to sell us garbage quality and they will never stop, because we keep buying!

Anonymous said...

Boo. No currant scuba on the CDN side. The ultraviolet is super cute but only one size (too small of course, LOL)

I adore that mirage pacesetter skirt. I wanted one so bad!! But being short and - not chubby, but not super lean, it just looked awful on me :(

yogibabe said...

Another FYI!
Pow Pink and Ray Scoop Me Up tank are restocked in all sizes. So far both of those colors do not have the bleeding isssues for me....yet?

Desiree & Rob said...

run bound bras were restocked this morning too ... i bit the bullet & ordered black & ray. hopefully i can resolve the ray bleeding issues with a few washes??? :(

Anonymous said...

ATTENTION! Currant scuba in ALL sizes :) Might be a website glitch but I added some to my cart and it let me!

Anonymous said...

Do you guys think this is all stuff people returned? I've never seen this many items in popular colors restocked on a Thurs/Fri! And it just happens to be my birthday today :)

Anonymous said...

Any fit reviews on the Engage Bra yet? The straps look a little funky on the site, like maybe they don't stay attached that well when crossed. Anyone wear it yet? Thoughts? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I would bet the restocks are from a wave of returns.

Anonymous said...

OMG.....say it isn't TRUE!! lulu wouldn't restock it's online store with returns????? Would they?

3crazykids said...

Why can't they bring back the currant Define?! I'm not sure if I should just get the Scuba even though I really don't wear mine much because I don't like hoods or hold out for what I really want. Such a beautiful color!!

Anonymous said...

They're not flying off the shelves anymore too... A lot of the old 'must-have' items are still stocked in a lot of sizes.

Anonymous said...

RE the Currant Scuba, has anyone experienced any bleeding with this scuba?

Anonymous said...

What do we know about the pants featured in the Pants header (http://shop.lululemon.com/products/category/women-pants?ppid=women-clp:r2-l1)

I NEED THEM!!!!

Anonymous said...

just got my currant scuba too! love that color and really hoping it makes a comeback in the form of a heathered CRB!

Regarding the engage bra - I tried it on and it fit ok - similar to the adjust me IMO and I wonder if the straps will fly off again too. I wish they would make a supportive bra without the wide straps - just not a fan of those. The 8 fit better than the 6 and I am a 6 in most tanks (CRB, Scoop, Power Y) but have found I am between 6-8 on most of Lulu bras - hope this helps!

Anonymous said...

Just a warning - the deep indigo WUs I received were very sheer. The second I took them out of the package I could tell - they felt like cheap Target leggings. Also, the new gussett is just awful. No more WUs for me until they change it back.

Anonymous said...

Hi!
I really love the new In Stride in deep indigo slub denim. Just wondering, does anyone know if the deep indigo denim WU that's sold online is the same fabric? The color on the website looks a bit different ...
Thanks for your help!

sophia said...

@Anon 10:14 - i have the same problem with WU...i can't wear them because they always give me a muffin top (and i'm a size 6). it has to do with the rise...they're just too low on me and hit in an unflattering spot. and if i size up, they're too big and fall down ): so i feel your pain - it seems like all the good colors/fun prints always come in WU and nothing else (how about some fun prints in wunder grooves?) although, as of late, hearing about all the sheerness issues, i'm glad i'm not even tempted by the WU, or i'd be so disappointed. btw, have you tried the wunder grooves? they're a bit higher rise and it does the trick for me when it comes to muffin top. i also just got my first pair of ebb and flows - the rise on these is higher, too.

Anonymous said...

Anon 7:53 am -- thanks for the review of the Engage! I usually only wear the Energy, but all they have is black right now. I'm hoping for some fun colors -- and feel like the purple on the model in the banner on the site is a tease! I'll try on the Engage this weekend.

OT - I had to giggle at Lulu's response to someone on Facebook asking why no one's emailed her back about a bleeding tank: "Our email team is hard at work writing back to all of guests and will get to every email as soon as they can. We are experiencing a higher volume of emails at the moment..."

I don't think any of us is surprised or wonders why they have so many complaint emails. I hope that means they're realizing how much of an issue the bleeding has become and that customers ain't happy. I can't imagine the company's happy about all of the returns either. I hope they figure out how to fix this soon.

Minda said...

aww we know the body of this model! its the dark haired one who models it all! Maybe she had a lot of chinese food the night before this pic was taken or just a bad day! LOL
- we've seen her in a zillion other wu's new and old and they usually look fantastic on her!

groovegirl said...

WUs have a tendency to cut into my sides also resulting in a slight MT as seen in some of the new photos featuring the model with the rockin' body. I'm not bothered by the MT and didn't notice it until reading this post.

Perhaps the web team didn't photoshop these pics to the extent they normally do? Either way, she looks absolutely gorgeous to me.

OT: my Wunder under crops in the mirage print I ordered on tuesdy are out for delivery today! Can't wait to see which way my print is going...lol. I'm actually pretty angry that they couldn't garauntee the print one way or another. How do they not know their own product?!!
I ordered the diversity WUC last week in the mirage. Print started at waistband and they were gorgeous...except completely sheer even without having the bend over. I could see my nude skin and the tag even through the print- not just the white.

I have a feeling these mirage regular WUC will be an immediate return also.

Jamie Barba said...

LOL, anon 6:33, I agree bleeding issues are enough reason for anything to stay in the store. Just wondering if there's a reason on top of that to not like the Pow define.

Speaking of Pow, I finally wore my racing length pow CRB on a run today. So far, no bleeding....I think. I wore a wee strip ta-ta tamer under it & everything looks good. I was carrying my ray Good Fortune Bag after & I'm not sure, I may have gotten a little color transfer. I'll try a magic eraser & see if it comes off, if in fact it's actually there. It was dark still!!

Minda said...

I'm wearing pow racing crb today too. Cept with space dye crops! No worries if there is bleeding. None so far with me and this top!

LuluLily said...

I ordered the currant scuba! But I'm still anxious that it's not the same as the one that was ninja uploaded the other month...

In these photos, the zipper looks dark. In the past photo, the zipper was an exact red match. :( Also, the total red scuba looked like the older, thicker, heavier material that was snug across the shoulders/ chest. This newer, darker zipper looks like the newer scubas that are hugely baggy across that area.

I'm still really bummed I missed out on that last batch of currant scubas. Fingers are crossed that when it arrives, I love it. :o :o :o

@ Saurkraut...I also see under that FB posting you commented on, someone else, also left this comment: "So you can't sweat in Lulu because of pH problems with some people's sweat, you can't wash Lulu in certain washing machines, you can't or aren't suppose to throw your stuff into the dryer, you can't hang it to dry, because the color MAY bleed, you cant sit an air conditioned car for fear your shirt may change color, so remind me....why we are paying $50-$120 for shirts, pants, shorts and tanks....we cannot wear??? Just curious. :)" OK...that comment is just too funny! Love it and so TRUE!

Anonymous said...

"Sourkraut" I meant. :)

OT I had a great experience with @skirtsports. they had a huge sale a couple of weeks ago and I ordered two skirts with an additional 15% off sale price and free shipping! Well when the skirts arrived I realized I ordered a style that was not what I intended. I called and spoke to Rebecca who was so helpful. She agreed to allow me to replace the skirts with the two I wanted at the original sale price even though the sale was over and they were now asking full price for them! They even kept my extra 15% discount in place. I'm wore one of my new skirts to workout in today and couldn't be happier with the product and customer service. I'll definitely be a repeat buyer!

Anonymous said...

I think the next WUC will be the pow pink stripe pattern--because they are unloading the old space-dye WUC. I will wait for that awesome textured-pattern on the lulu site pant banner.

Cari said...

I received my pow define yesterday and I LOVE it! It is so comfy and the color is fantastic. I cannot wait to wear it! I was surprised that I had quite a few tops to go with it already. :)

Anonymous said...

I can't wait to get my Pow Pink define jacket on Monday. Hopefully, it will not be a bleeder !

I also ordered the Pow Pink WU crops (not the diversity which are horribly transparent !). I just checked the photos again on the website.... and I think they will be going back. Not that I look at other women's butts.... but one can see the black thong underneath the Pow Pink WUC ! Also you can see the gusset that is way too far in the back. TOO BAD ! :(

ebbandflow said...

I just received my pow pink wuc--I thought because they were reversible they would maybe be thicker and not sheer. Sheer! They're going back. Total bummer.

Anonymous said...

they advertise as reversible but they clearly aren't. only the waist band is reversible.

Anonymous said...

Yeah. I wouldn't call that reversible either. I sometimes think Lulu takes their buyers for idiots !!!!

Anonymous said...

I'm loving my new Pow Define, but I think if an In Stride comes out it's going back. Only because I already have a Flash Light Definw.

Anonymous said...

Looks like once again we have batches of Pow Pink that are ok and others that are not. That stinks and makes no sense. My Pow WUC's passed the sheer test with a black thong in store.

Like the Ebb and Flows. Ones in store are awesome, online not so much.

Just got my deep indigo WU Pants and am in love. Can't wait to wear them to yoga on the beach tomorrow :)

Anonymous said...

OT - I just got my order from Kira Grace I ordered both the pink and black Warrior yoga Capri. They are gorgeous! S fit like a glove.. I'm a true 6 in Lulu. The material is soft n thick almost like WU. I have to say the construction exceeds my expectations. It stretchy but not like suplex ( tends to be thin) I almost forgot they were Kira because the look just like WU except they have the super cute cuts on the side. I'm putting them trough a workout tomorrow! No sheerness for me :) but I have to report that my friend tried them on ( she is ticker in the bum than me) n I could see her undies.

Anonymous said...

^^ on the pink version only. The black were not see trough on both of us. And thanks to this blog I too ordered the wee are from space wunder unders!! Like Minda I love colors n brights!!!!

Anonymous said...

Anon from 9:53am here: My mirage WUC crops are indeed the print starting at the ankle. Will definitely be calling Lululemon to unleash my fury over this!

Which makes me wonder...why am I so upset over a pair of poor quality $72 leggings?!?!

Anonymous said...

Anyone else's pow define smell fishy? Just got mine. Not the world's best scent to it. :(

Anonymous said...

this is a little OT but does anyone have the free to be bra? I cannot decide between 6 & 8 and am wondering if they will stretch at all? any help would be appreciated! thx

Anonymous said...

Has anyone seen Pow Pink Define in Toronto??? One livehelp told me it's sold out, another said it hasn't reached Ontario.

Re: Free to Be bra. It definitely stretches, at least the straps

Anonymous said...

re: Ebb & Flow being better quality in the stores than the ones sold online -- perhaps because many who order online don't have access to a store to return, so they will hesitate to return them. In store, people would try on the cheapo ones and not even buy them.

The ones I got in store last week feel thick but they are see-through. I plan to wear them with long shirts anyway. But complaints (in reviews) about the hem riding up will be a problem if it's true, so I will have to test drive a pair and hold the others for possible return.

Anonymous said...

So a little OT but I'm getting worried about the fact that I check this site and the Lulu.site a few.times everyday... also that I don't sleep on Monday nights and that I spend a lot of money on Lulu. Maybe not as much as everyone else but like between 150-250 a month... haha I know a lot of you feel the same way but like whyyy do I feel I need all the different colors! I am also worried that I am going to get bigger tjighs with my new training and all.my pants wont fit... like how do you guys justify buying all.these clothes when we clearly have enough to workout in lol so its not like a need... what do your hubby say? I.could.probably.go to. The shore .instead of having ten pairsof shorts!

Anonymous said...

I just exchanged emails with GEC about the Flow Y's and they confirmed that the Flow Y has "undergone a few changes based on guests' feedback". The new colors have a tighter band and are "a bit lower" in the front. If you look at the photos on the website, you can tell that the black and white are the "old style" and the colors are the "new style".

Anonymous said...

P.S. I was also told that the "newly produced" black and white would be in the new design (but when you order, how do you know whether you'll be getting one from a new or an old batch?)

Anonymous said...

i find the free to be TTS, because it is light support I don't do hardcore cardio so I feel it doesn't stretch out. It is my favorite for walking and strength training though, so comfortable!! also, i love this blog!! i was trolling and scooped up the pow pink scoop. i've been drooling over the pow/orange grooves but wanted a bright top to match. i was going to settle for a light pow swiftly but much prefer the scoop. i'm pretty sure it'll be a return, but oh well, us beggars in IOWA can't be choosers!

Minda said...

Anon 3:11 I understand but don't feel bad.

I find it much easier to pass on lulu items now because I do not like many of the new trendy styles and prints. More importantly I do not like all of the quality issues. Inquiring minds NEED to know though . .. hahah so I still love to check the uploads!

If I were to be bare bones about LULU the only items I think are worth owning are black wunder under crops or full leggings. Cool racerbacks in solid or wee are from space, and scuba hoodies. AND that is only if they have quality on the up and up!!

What does my husband say? He likes that I am happy and thinks I'm hilarious chattering on and on about sportswear drama!

Anyway, I'm sure your interest will rise and fall as time marches on and you fill out in what you actually need. Or you had enough returning items you think are unflattering or faulty.

I love checking this blog too and I'm constantly posting - mostly cause its just fun to talk about with these kindred spirits of ladies who love pretty colors and soft flattering fabrics!

As long as your life is in perspective to a point where you are happy, functioning and progressing with goals/dreams, and your relationships are healthy. I don't see any problem with waking up one night a week to peek at uploads or check a blog several times daily!

I just bought a pair of indigo E&F crops and they were not see through but when I tried on the black I was shocked that I could see my butt crack and thong. The grey were also see through but not as bad as the black. I was torn as to whether I should keep them so I wore them WITH the tags on inside my house and ran up and down the stairs numerous times and they did ride up on my calves. I got a size 4 since the was the smallest size they had and I am 5' 3" and weigh 118. I have muscular legs. They do ride up but I decided I would just take a change and I cut off the tags and wore them to the gym. As I ran (super fast @ about 8+ speed) they did ride up but I didn't really notice it to the point where it bothered me maybe because I'm short they never rode up too much only about 3 inches about my knee but they didn't look silly or bag out. I really like them and they look awesome with pink or bright colored tops.

Sandra said...

*Chance not change
*3 inches below my knee... Auto type sucks!

Anonymous said...

@Anon 3:13 - I posted about the Flow Y's yesterday - thanks for sharing what you learned! I am not a fan of the new design so guess I will have to order the white and black and hope they fill the order from the old batches... So bummed, I lived in the old ones and really dislike the newer ones bc I am a D cup and need the extra coverage. :(

Anonymous said...

I saw on another spot where somebody got a gift card to LLL and a discount code for their WUC with the design starting at the feet in the mirage? You might pitch a fit when you return them and see what happens?

Anonymous said...

@Anon 4:53 -- I asked whether they'd redesigned the raised, uncomfortable seam under the arm that so many reviewers had mentioned and she said she didn't know anything about that. I also asked if you ordered the black or white online, was there a way to know (or request) new or old batch and she said she'd inquire and get back to me.

Anonymous said...

Why is Lulu modifying staple pieces that are so popular ??? Flow Y bra: tweaking of the front of the bra, tight band. WUs: triangle CT gusset + thin cheap see-thru material. What's up Lulu ?

Pink Peony 4 said...

@anon3:11. Like Minda said, don't feel bad. I do spend about 4 to 6 times what you're spending. I find myself giving lulu clothing as gifts now! Since when did I spend almost a hundred dollars on people other than my family? I do feel as though every time there is something new I have to have it. I am pretty compulsive I must say. My husband does not really know ( I don't know how he would react if he finds out). I spend within a budget every month and I was working until May. He gives me a check for shopping every month and I don't get to spend it all so I am in the clear, I think. I get up on Monday nights too (with an alarm!). I just make sure he does not get awakened by my clicking on the computer. ha ha. One good thing: he likes that I go to the gym so hurray for me and all of us who try, right? I have been doing this for almost 3 years now. Kinda bad but it's fun.

BTW: I love how sweet yogibabe is... Go girl!!!

LuluAddict said...

@ Jamie Barba and Runner J - I don't care for how the seams look on the front of my Define. They look like they will eventually get a bit rough (this has happened on my Potion Purple Define but I haven't take it in to be repaired) and get tall and loopy. I can have the seamstress repair but it would be very obvious on the Pink. I tried on two size 10s and one other 12 in the store the other day and they all had sub optimal stitching.

Anonymous said...

thanks for the input on the free to be - and I am also an addict and am now waking up early every Tuesday am to check out the uploads and spending a fortune each month - ah! my husband thinks I am a shopaholic and he's pretty much right! I find myself justifying why I need new colors and certain items, etc... I guess that is the definition of an addict :)

LuluAddict said...

I'll post some photos of the stitching issues on the Pow Define. I was bummed because I really like this color. I'm kind of kicking myself for passing on the Bruised Berry one now because that color was fine.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 1:01 pm - Definitely let us know how you like the Kira Grace for a workout. They are supposed to be sending me a couple of items to review.

Anonymous said...

I got my WU indigo - they're not see through and no camel toe. Only need to do the bleed test now.

The only difference I can see is that they seem a bit longer than the other WUs.

Maybe LLL should work out which one of their sub contractors has the quality control issues because there's varying quality between the same style.

Anonymous said...

I got a little drunk last night and the first thing I did was go online and buy the shorty shorts with polka dots from WMTM. I find it funny that's the first thing I did... Lol

Anonymous said...

Foreign subcontractors are a huge problem for a lot of merchandise these days. The real problem is that lulu has no quality control system in place and continues to ship DEFECTIVE items to customers. lulu stores put DEFECTIVE items out on the floor for purchase, too. lulu is hoping that consumers won't notice the defects within the ridiculously limited 14-day return window. No more lulu for me. Already sold my stock. Advise my students of all the problems as explanation why I no longer wear lulu and give them free advertising. Only way to make lulu clean up their act is to hit them where it hurts -- which is their bottom line profit!!

Anonymous said...

Loving the drunk comment above. I, too, tied one too many on last night and cannot believe I did not order the WU space dye. Fell into bed first.

I am really over them changing the power y. Throw a girl a bone Lulu!

Sandra said...

LLA, I know what you mean, I returned my pp define because I didn't like the orange stitching, didn't flatter my skin and it does look like it will come apart. I was able to find a BB define on eBay new with tags for 110 "buy it now" price so $11 more and I jumped on it because I loved the one I got and had to return it because of the front left seam, tried to exchange it but there were none online or in the entire state. It was a much nicer thick material than the pp define.
