More of the Latest

Pop Orange Cool Racerback, Ray Free to Be Bra and Faded Dot Embossed Wunder Unders. I was tempted to order those last night, too. The dot pattern faded oddly, though. You can have one leg with big dots and the other with tiny dots. They should have made the fade go vertically instead.

Good close up of the Deep Indigo Slub Denim In Stride Jacket.

I saw the deep indigo denim in stride in the store today and it has almost a purple tint to it - as if it's a cross between the deep indigo and bruised berry. really really pretty!

I almost picked it up today too, but it looks like a bad bleeder! They look really over dyed, dense in color if that makes any sense. Waiting to hear reviews.

I've heard the pow crb is a bad bleeder, but has anyone heard or experienced any bleeding with the pow light swiftly tank?

Has anyone ever posted a review on the lulu website only to not have it appear online? I "posted" a review of the wandering yogi halter questioning why the pop orange was the only colour in luon light whereas the other colours are luxtreme, and it's not posted. I also indicated the tank straps are somewhat fussy but I still like the tank overall. Makes me think that lulu screens all posts before they actually publish it which IMO, is really ridiculous.

In store today I tried on the Wanderful Flare Pant in both the black luon and the black denim in sizes 4 & 6. Regular luon I would stick to my tts 4. Denim I could go with the 4 but would size up to 6. I would definitely need to hem them 3" to 4" as I am 5' 5" and they are very long. I really like them, can pull them off, but I don't need them. They can wait.

I saw all the engineered mirage print stuff, including the Daily Tank. It seems OK and the print on the DT in person was pretty subtle. I've decided I have OD'd on engineered mirage just from having seen so much of it now, online and in person. I'd like a regular length CRB but I'm basically *meh*.

Yesterday someone was wondering about sizing on the Run Nothing to Hide crops (reg. 4 or size up to 6?). I tried them on today and can reconfirm that if you're a tts 4 you should stay in a 4. These crops have a fair bit of give and are not tight at all. (Run Excel, Full Tilt & Run Marathon are definitely more fitted). I would still pass on Nothing to Hide due to the fold down waistband. I don't think it would stay down if you wanted to keep it down. Pretty thin material but I didn't find them sheer in general or with the bend test.

@ anon 7:46 PM, I have been told LLL DOES in fact read each and every review. They take notes on what customers have to say, have a weekly meeting about it, including sharing this info. with the design team and stores.

I have read on LLA's blog that some people have found that their reviews have not shown up.

They also do that "may take up to 72 hrs to appear" disclaimer so it may just take time and it was a holiday weekend in Canada. Unless you're well past 72 hrs...

I've heard that other customers reviews have not been posted too because they were slightly negative. If they do indeed read each review and have meetings you would think they would have resolved the countless bleeding issues by now. I'm really turned off by lululmeon right now.

I think they read the reviews and know all about the bleeding issues. They have not resolved it and who knows if they will. I do gather (from input on this blog) when you bring back an item that does not stop bleeding, they give you a refund or a store credit?

It's weird to me if they are not publishing the odd review now and then. You've all read reviews: people are very, VERY candid and these reviews get posted. Whenever I have read brutal reviews--and sometimes consistently so...take the Run SS Nakedseam, or the Align Yoga mat as examples--of an item, I've had to hand it to LLL for actually publishing them. There is always a mix of positive & negative for any item. It's up to the customer to decide to buy or not to buy, especially if there are lots of reviews available before you purchase that item.

I will say, if they stop allowing customers to be candid and start censoring (unlikely) so to speak, I would definitely stop buying!

I have posted reviews of items I really did not like recently and they are up. :)
