Today's Shopping Trip

There weren't too many new things at the store today for me to check out - I was there before all the swimwear arrived. I tried on the Heathered Menthol Cool Racerback which was tempting. It was super soft but every top I buy in this shade green I end up selling. I just never reach for greens. I also tried on the Heathered Deep Navy Flashback Pullover since it had been a couple of years since I last tried it on. I really liked it this time around and ended up buying it. I seem to remember previous versions feeling much more stiff and bulky but the Deep Navy one is made of the same soft, thin material as the Meditate Pullover. It's very roomy and cozy and perfect for Southern California. I must have been in the mood for comfort clothes today - it was kind of a dreary overcast day. I put it on as soon as I got home and haven't taken it off since. Can anyone comment who owns an older Flashback? Are the newer ones thinner and softer? Or maybe just the new Deep Navy one is. I've heard from a couple of people that that's the one they bought because it's so soft.

I lived in my coal flashback pullover yesterday. I tried on both coal and navy and to me the fabric felt similar. I believe it is the same terry used in the tea lounge pants as well-which I adore. I do wish they made the flashback in a 2 though- while I can wear a 2 or a 4 in most jackets/hoodies, because this is supposed to be slouchy the 4 is a tad big- not big enough to stop me from getting it, but a 2 would have been perfection. I took a 4 in the don't hurry be happy pullover and found that to fit more snug, though I think part of that snugness comes from the thicker material of the DHBH pullover.

I just bought it in the coal yesterday and am loving it. I am thinking about going back to grab the navy today. I was hoping they would be loaded online today to save a trip to the store but no such luck. I'm 5'10" tall and the length is perfect on me. I am generally a 10 in Lulu tops and stuck with the 10.

I bought both the navy and coal and its all I want to wear. Gloomy in Southern California right now and these are perfection.

Like everyone else, I can't compare the weight to the original, but I found both the navy and coal to feel similarly cozy. I bought the navy, and just love it. I have to say though, at 5'8", I don't think I could pull it off if I was much shorter. This pullover needs to be stretched out to look good IMO.
