I think the swimwear looks gorgeous on all these girls!
But I still won't be buying any online since its not returnable (or colorfast!) lol.

Bikini tops are final sale !
How is a bikini top different than a sports bra, that I can try on and return?

The one piece is cute but how to you tie the back by yourself, looks akward

@ anon 11:35 pm - Exactly! Their policy is insane. I would hope people would refuse to buy and it all goes to markdown but I doubt it.

Maybe the bikini tops are non-returnable because Lulu doesn't want to be stuck with hundreds of returned bikini tops without the bottoms which are non-returnable. It's hard to sell a bikini top without a bottom.

Makes no sense that the tops are non-returnable. When they're sold as separates there will always be a disproportionate # of tops and bottoms (some people buy one top with multiple bottoms and visa versa). I'm not big on the colour options available online. I'll see what my store has before I make a final judgement though.

on the lululemon website, the models wearing the swimwear are very flatchested and i have to say that it does not look very flattering on any of the images. there doesn't seem to be a lot of coverage on the bottom either (back or front) based on a lot of the images uploaded. i'm wondering if the bottoms come with an adequate panty liner and if the back is cut proportionately so it doesn't rise up and become a thong when you stand up... very disappointing as summer is around the corner and this could have been HUGE. i always struggle with finding swimwear that's functional and sexy at the same time... and that's what lulu has consistently delivered in so many other categories. bummer.

white bottoms always make me nervous... every line, curve and bump is visible (on men too LOL - i was at st. bart's last week and a very handsome and tanned (and very endowed) european man came out of the pool in a white speedo and nearly every women gasped...) and it's pratically sheer when wet. yes to (handsome) men but no to me and rest of the girls who have some modesty.

Sidenote: The Rashguard tops (SS & LS) have these 3 loops at the bottom of the inside-front part of the shirt. The tag says they're supposed to button into the boardshorts but I've examined the boardshorts in the store and there are no buttons. What's the deal? Are they going to release a different style of boardshorts with buttons to go with the rashguard tops?

the white is not sheer... but obviously it will not be as "modest" as darker colors. personally, i go for floral prints vs. solids and i would never, ever wear a light and solid color (beware of camel toes)... my recommendation for price, fit and fashion is patagonia. they have sexy but functional pieces. i'm a 34B and they fit perfectly and have lasted wash after wash.

White may not look sheer when dry and in the dressing room but once it is wet beware!

I was at the store today and tried on some of the swimwear. It was all a complete disgrace. If you have boobs, just forget it. The tops won't support you at all, and the halter one gave me back fat. Hideous. The stupid ties hang in a really unfortunate spot on your butt. The zipper on the rash guard could not be pulled up, the tassel was too short for me to reach. EPIC LULULEMON FAIL.

I ordered the short sleeve rash guards in black and pink. I've had melanoma and need to be covered on my chest and back. Love the gathering at the back..makes it not so dull. Hope they are cute on, but I am a DD, so we will have to see. Won't even bother trying the bikini tops!

I don't get why they are making swimwear. Especially since it looks just like their sports bras and undies. Waste.
