OOTD for C25K W2D3
One of the ladies on the TJI Board, Susan, makes photos of her workout outfits laying on the floor and I decided to steal her idea for today. This is my outfit for this morning's run. I am in Week 2 Day 3 (90 sec run, 2 min walk) of the Couch to 5K program and so far it's going better than I expected. I'm having fun trying out different clothes from my collection for running. I have been choosing long sleeve Swiftly tops most days but it's gotten kind of damp out so I decided to try something warmer today (it's 50 degrees currently). Anywho, my OOTD for today is: My new Rocksteady Ta Ta Tamer with matching (for a change!) technikini bottoms (both bought at sweet markdown prices - yipee!), Persian Purple Run: Turn Around LS, Wunder Groove crops, featherlight socks, and Rocksteady/Royalty Dance headband.

Quick tip for when you get into longer runs - it becomes far more comfortable to just skip the undies. :) The run specific crops are built so you get no chafing in that area, but I'm not sure about the Wunder Grooves.. anyway, your skin breathes way better that way.
Fabulous outfit LuluA. Bet you're the best-dressed gal out there. Love!
I think you should snap OOTD picks like this more often. I love watching fashion shows! :)
I happened to get Wunder Groove Crops without trying in store yesterday, they are more snug than I thought.
Do you think they are TTS ? Just curious.
Thanks,
Sapphire
Please continue to post OOTD! Love this!
Cute outfit!
LLA- could you do a colour comparison of the flash swiftly vs. the tango swiftly. The tango is really orange so wanted a comparison before I order the flash if possible. Thank you!
I agree - hope you continue with photos of OOTD.
Another good tip... I love Lulu run gear as much as the next girl,, but their run socks, for the money, are awful. I have 3 different pairs of running shoes (Asics Gel Landreth 7, Brooks PureFlow and Saucony Kinvara 2) and I can't wear my lulu socks in any of them bc they slide on the insoles. Haven't (obviously) done a long run in them either, but I'm guessing my Nike and Asics and Thorlos are far superior in the wicking and blister-prevention categories, as well. I totally recommend investing in the Nike women's socks, which are my faves for long runs.
Really anon 11:31? It must be different for different feet. I find that above all running socks I have bought (I loads) lulu's run socks are the only socks that do not give me blisters on my long runs (I have so far completed 4 marathons and lots of training runs). They are now the only run socks I will buy.
Hi LLA-love your fashion show -- MORE-- please tell me what OOTD means --:)
OOTD I'm guessing is outfit of the day :) Love this idea!
Love this idea! It's great :) And my lulu store still has NO CAMO! ARGHH!
Yes, must be my wack-a-doodle feet then. :) I just feel like when I wear them, my shoes feel sloppy, for lack of a better word - like my feet are separate from my shoes. They were my first pair of run socks (like I said, love their stuff), but I've since discovered the Nike Elites and Asics Kayanos and haven't looked back. Love my Thorlos for shorter runs too.
To Sapphire, I have a few Wunder Groove crops and to me, they are TTS in the regular black and coal luon.
I've never tried Nike Elites and Asics Kayanos so maybe they are much better. My first few pairs of running socks that I used to train for my first marathon left me with awful blisters! I am just so thankful not to get them anymore :)
LOVE this outfit and this type of post :)
Got a email that my local stores have the camo stuff in...no time to make it to the store this week though :(
I love your OOTD post and very nice outfit!
Looking forward to seeing more :)
This is great, LLA. I vote for making outfits as part of your regular post rotation<3.
Mini store report for those of you in LA: Beverly Hills has the black camo CRB, camo boogie shorts, and camo no limit tank in.
Also, the CRBs are priced INCORRECTLY at $48 (picked up sizes 4 & 6 to check), however they ring up at normal price ($42). I notified the manager so hopefully they'll get on top of that asap!
The camo print is great. Love the lulu logo hidden throughout - very Ikat like so it was a must for me.
Happy sweating and shopping, all!
I love this post! I ran my first half-marathon this past weekend in Houston and actually spent some time figuring out which of my Swiftly tops and which headband I wanted to wear. I figured if I was going to suffer through 13.1 miles then at least I was going to look cute doing it!
Cute outfit! I had that color scheme on today, and with these adorable (on sale) Merrells topping it off: http://www.6pm.com/merrell-barefoot-pure-leather-glove-athena-leather
This is a cute idea, to lay out the outfit and snap a photo :)
Ohh, you have the Run: Turn Around in Persian Purple. That top is to die for. I have 2, the paris pink and plum one... but I would love to get a persian purple for less than $100! lol
off continue my ebay lulu stalking.....
Love the OOTDs! Do you read this blog? She posts (mostly Lulu) outfits every Sunday! So fun to see pics!

Wow! So glad you liked the outfit on the floor. Whenever Susan does one on the Facebook This Just In page I love it, too. She did a bunch for her recent Disneyland marathon. I'll have post them for you.
I have heard that your clothes change as you up your distance. Things that didn't rub start to rub. I am having fun experimenting with my lulu clothes to see what works. The Turn Around turned out to be much to hot for me to wear today. I also tried running in Grooves but those stuck to my leg by the end of the run, too.
@ anon 11:10 am - I don't have either of those shirts but the tango swiftly looks like cream of tomato soup. The flash swiftly looks like neon flamingo - very bright and it glows. It's fun but bright.
LLA- Thanks so much for answering my question about the swiftlys!!
