Photos - Chai Time II Sweater (Updated)

Chai Time II sweater in Heathered Deep Coal/Black
Chai Time II in Heathered Blurred Gray/Coal

Photos of the new Chai Time II cashmere blend sweater. This length is much better than the old version. It's reversible. The price is $128. I've haven't bought a lulu sweater yet. I usually find the price high and think I can find similar elsewhere for cheaper. This one isn't bad looking, but it's pricey. I'll have to give it a try when it hits my store.

Just posted on one of my FB groups - the two flavors of the new Chai time sweater. The colors are Heathered Blurred Gray/Coal and Black/Heathered Deep Coal. (Thanks to Suri for the photos)

Hmmm, I don't know about this one. I think if I were to splurge on a sweater, I'd just go and buy a real cashmere sweater. I don't know why they are making these products, can't they just concentrate on quality - like making sure the paris pinks don't run, for starters....

I agree with everything the above blogger commented. Also, just wanted to say that I love the new look of the blog. Great job! :)

@ Tiny Dancer - I totally agree. I can find something very similar for much cheaper or for the same price something much more stylish/better quality at Nordstroms. This is a case where I think people buy because of the lulu logo.

@ Anna - thanks! I thought it was time for a change.

the chai time sweater isn't really reversible...they just threw a lulu symbol on the inside. the seaming looks terrible when its "reversed"

The argument for this sweater would be if lulu had it in a color that I really really liked and couldn't find else where... and even that is a pretty poor argument

I have a few lulu sweaters, but they shed and lose so much fuzz, even after years and numerous washes that I learned my lesson and don't buy them anymore.

@ anon 5:55 am - That is what I have suspected about the sweaters - they don't look very durable. For the money lulu is charging they'd better be the best sweaters ever.
