Photos: Run Your Heart Out Pullover

When I see this pullover modeled on a mannequin without a context of age, I think these tops look like they are more suited for the Ivivva children's line rather than adult women. The ruffles and pleats make this top seem young.  (Oooh, I just popped over to Ivivva to see what their pullovers look like and they also have a Run Your Heart Out Pullover. Theirs looks more suited to adults than this one.)

However, modeled on actual women, this pullover isn't bad. I think the ruffles and pleats get lost in the noise of the stripes:

The running looks smooth in this photo as opposed to the textured running luon of the new Run: Turn Around LS tops.

ha its funny you find the pleats juvenile. They look very victorian to me. Overall - will not be buying this...I have a large chest and this would just make it look larger rather than more slimming!

Hate the bib/pleating. Grannies old blouse in my opinion. Very stuffy looking.

Something about the bib reminds me of something Michael Jackson would have worn. Glad I got the RFI instead.

The website model in the last photo looks like she's dressing up as a Star Trek character for Halloween. Might have something to do with the colored shoulder "wings" and the collar that takes away her neck. Oh, and the "WTF" expression on her face.

I agree with anon 5:20, very Star Trek! Yikes!! "the WTF expression" made me laugh out loud.

By the way, I love the holster pockets in my full tilt crops (the older version, I think). I guess they do add bulk, but when you're wearing that much spandex and running down the street, does it matter? They're handy and I think they're cute.

If I can find this in Ivivva large enough to fit me, I would buy it, but the Lulu version?? No Way!!

At least with the mother of all uploads it is easier for me to walk away from the large majority of items, either due to extream price gouging (legwarmers) or just ugly pleats and ruffles.

I am going to Toronto after work, I hope to find an apres and DWBH, but I am not holding my breath. This might be the first time I walk out without buying anything!

This has too much going on and I usually like more detail on things. The price is ridiculous, too.

@ anon 12:37 am - LOL

@ anon 12:20 pm - Lulu often has a split personality when it comes to design. They throw everything and the kitchen sink onto one garment, like the Run: For Your Life PO or it's so plain as to be dull and unmemorable - the latest batch of solid colored Cabin long sleeves. One of my favorite things about the cabin was the contrast stitching and they took most of it off so now it's a boring, extremely long $68 tee shirt.

@LLA I agree with you about the new cabin ls excepting the heathered black swan version (thank goodness I ordered it bc I NEVER saw it in a store). But, in general, yes! Why are they fixing something that was never broken??

I'm late to the party, but I loved this shirt and bought it in purple and in gray. So soft, and I like the design. But then they all went on clearance 12/26. Bummer! I could have gotten the maroon at that point, but it's not my color.

Anyway...still adore them.
