NEW! Weather Or Not Jacket

Shown with Pritti crops and Movement Leg Warmers
The tweed version of this jacket is very cute. I haven't finished going through all my product notices so I'll update when I find the relevant one.

I saw this jacket in the store yesterday- very cute! The black version looks very much like the rain coat that they made recently, and the black fabric is identical to the black fabric used in the Audrey jacket. Does anyone know if the material would be good in the rain? The name would imply so . . .

OT but I really like the headband she is wearing in the second photo. Not sure if I could ever pay so much for a seasonal jacket - I do have a $49 winter jacket from Joe Fresh that I love to death even though I've lost a few sizes since buying it - that'll do me well enough. I'd rather get 2 Scubas then a super expensive outerwear piece!

@ Olivia: Brisk Ear Warmer...go down a few LLA updates and she has a quick review on the BEW coming back into stores.

i too would like to know the story with this jacket. What is the diff between it and the Right As Rain? Now I don't know if i made a mistake getting the R.A.R...

I agree. I just got the Right as Rain - worn it already & love it. Did I make a mistake

The Weather or not Jacket is around the same price as the Audrey jacket, and has a fleece lining like the Audrey jacket. Not sure if it's water resistant like the R.A.R.

I'm in the same boat Anons. 10:28 and 1:04! I bought the R as R, have not worn it and it still has tags on, but it is just past the 14 day return period. I was in a store today and bought the Weather or Not (tweed) -- probably not smart of me, but I know I can return it! Ideally, I was thinking I might try to take both jackets back to the store and do an exchange. Toying with the thought of keeping both, but not likely. The educator assured me they are diff. because the Weather or Not is warmer and is not really rain proof -- it might be okay in a little misty shower, but not in a real rain situation. Btw, the Weather or Not is $198. I think with layers, it could be okay for some winter days.
It's interesting someone else wrote that they would rather buy 2 scubas for the same money -- I was thinking, for me, it made more sense to buy a coat instead of 2 hoodies. It made me think about how odd some of the pricing is. You can buy a SE scuba for $148, and for $30 more you can get the Right as Rain jacket, and $20 more than that and you have the Weather or Not! I guess it's all relative and depends on what things you like and need.

This jacket is awesome! Just got it today for $198. So cute in tweet. It is lighter than the Audrey, so it makes sense for NorCal weather. I find the Audrey too East Coast. Also in tweed it looks dressier than the R as R, so it is a more versatile jacket. It says it's supposed to keep you "right as rian" AND "warm and dry" and protect against wind. I am 5'10" and went with the 6. The 4 fit as well but was too short on the arms. I wear a 6 in pants and 8 in tops. If that helps anyone. The price is easier to swallow as, it's a cross between the Audrey and R and R.
