hmmm... that jacket is starting to look kinda cute. looking forward to picking one up on the clearance rack, at $39 or less I'd definitely buy it.
I think if it said "Nike" or "adidas" on most of the new designs most of us would think they were pretty ugly. Funny what we will buy when you put a Lulu symbol on it.
@anon 5:38pm Yes, I think you're correct about that. In fact, I am going to start using that as my decisive tool. Would buy this if it had a nike or adidas symbol on it? If not, I'm passing on it! Great idea.

@anon 5:38p.m., you are so right. After all, there's not a whole lotta difference between the technical gear of these brands, other than whatever proprietary name they choose to call their fabric. Nike's "Dri-fit," lulu's "luon", or adidas' "Climacool" - they all have wicking properties to varying degrees and are easier to work out in than regular cotton. I admit to buying certain lulu stuff simply because the little lulu symbol made it seem that much more cute. But in reality, a lot of the stuff they put out of late has been unflattering and dull and as you said, if it had a nike or an adidas symbol on it, you have to ask, would we still be wiling to shelve out close to $50 for that tank top?

Nike makes a far superior wicking fabric than Lululemon, I am tired of looking like everyone else wearing Lulu, it is just workout wear why break the bank! Lululemon stuff lately you can wear only working out and not streetwear.
