Get Fit Tank - First Wearing Review - Pretty Awesome!

All my visiting out of town family has left and I am starting to get back into a routine. The kids go back to school on Thursday and then I can really get my real routine going again. The last week or so has been crazy busy around our house. Anywhoo, I finally went to spin class today after taking a week off to visit four theme parks (Magic Mountain, Legoland, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure) in less than a week. I got a lot of walking in but no real workouts so it was good to be back in the gym. I wore my new Black Get Fit tank with Biker Groove shorts. I've got to say the Get Fit is one of the best tanks, besides a Circle Mesh CRB, for spin. I stayed pretty cool for the whole class. The wide circle mesh panels along the side are pure genius. I could feel cool air from the air conditioning moving in through them and it was bliss. The tank is super comfortable - the y-back offers great range of movement, the straps do not dig in anywhere and the adjustable bra is quite supportive. The neckline is nice and open but doesn't gap when you lean over and only shows a bit of cleavage. This tank is super functional for workouts. My only nit is that I wish it were a little more "pretty" but sometimes you have to trade fashion for function. I would love if this tank were offered in more fun colors like Raspberry or Power Purple.

I loved the feel and comfort of this tank. The neckline for me had a funny wrinkle in it. Might have to give it another try to see if it was just the top I had on. Super super comfy.

I tried this on over the weekend, and decided against it. LIke Susan, I found there to be a funny wrinkle in the neckline. Also, the seams down the front didn't lie flat. It also didn't feel super supportive (I'm a C cup). The back was very pretty though. Oh well, money saved.

I bought two and love them...and I agree--they have a pretty boring look. But for me the fit and finish of this tank is top notch, one of their better made tanks in a while...

I agree also..not the most exciting workout tank, but I tried it on and loved the combination of the weight(so light with the mesh on sides)and the length was nice. YES - I BOUGHT IT AS WELL and can't wait to wear it to my next workout! I got it in black.

i loved it when i tried it on, i just didn' thave it in my budget yesterday. I did try on the Turbo which i was CONVINCED would look terrible on me - but I loved its feel and supportiveness. I just WISH that there wasn't those half moon cutouts on the back - those were the dealbreaker. otherwise the turbo tank felt like a DREAM.

I ordered mine last week and it should be here in 2 days - I can't wait! I hope I don't get one where the seams pucker a lot. I am glad to hear that it keeps you cool. I am looking forward to the air conditioned side panels and I hope it fits me properly! LLA, I love your recent posts btw! I am looking forward to some new colors, bring on the raspberry, lulu!

I did try on the next size down in the Get Fit and the weird puckers went away but I thought it was a bit snug in the tummy area.

@ anon 5:27 am - It's not super supportive but decent enough for me for spin class, walking, and lifting weights.

Puckered here, too. I always wear a 6, although I'm sure the :educators: would put me in a 4, if they had an opinion. I'm tiny chested so I don't need the support. For that reason, I don't feel the need to size down.

I also didn't find the back pretty enough. Petty, I know... ;)
