I went to the store today to pick up a couple of items I left to be restitched and took the opportunity to try on the new Run: Take Flight Bike Shorts. I ended up buying a pair in black. They have an 8" inseam and it's the length I have been waiting for from Lululemon. They do not have any padding. My Biker Grooves and Run: Zoom Knee shorts are something like 3" longer and hit me right at the middle of the knee (I'm 5' 5"). I usually hike them up a bit over my knee anyway for spin class but I am super excited Lululemon finally made a pair in this length. I like that the back is a bit higher than the front so they don't slip down. I did a bend over test and I thought these were thicker than some of the luxtreme crops that go sheer when you bend over. They are available in the Coal/Static and solid Black. I cannot wait to give these a try in class.

I also tried on the new Dignity crops. They were a pretty snug fitting crop and I thought ran a bit on the small side.
I tried on the Heathered Black Define. It's really nice and I wouldn't mind it if someone gave one to me but I think I can live without it. If you don't already have a black Define and have been thinking of getting one, this one might be a nice alternative.
I forgot to write that I saw the new Dewberry CRB at the store and without having a comparison at hand, I thought Dewberry looked a lot like Potion Purple. I already have a couple of Potion tops and don't really feel the need to get more.

Do these bike shorts have padding in them like the last ones? i love them but i kinda want a second pair for running that doesnt have the padding.
I always find shorts/crops at the knee and odd length but I am going to have to try these on to know for sure.....

What? I know the store hemds for free... and they do complimentary mending as well? I have the stitching coming off one of the front seams of a Push Ur Limit...
Yeah, I was wondering if they'd restitch some snaps on my GR? I've done it myself several times, and am a little sick of it. Do you know if they do that sort of thing?

so a few days ago i purchased the heathered blurred grey wu crops. yeah! i dont have a pair of grey pants from lulu and thought it would be a great addition to my growing wardrobe. well to my surprise i received an email today that the heathered blurred grey wu are out of stock. after of course i had ordered them. i wasnt charged, but c'mon really? i though the whole warehouse stocking issue was solved! has this happened to anyone else? just wondering. that's for listening. oh! and my ootd: black run: inspires, heathered tango red crb, pink mist crb, flush 50 rep, and coal strata stripe pullover. sorry no picture.... discovered small holes on butt of the inspires and took them off angrily...i will be emailing lulu for that too!!!!
@ Carrione - I think lulu will repair loose buttons. I've had the stitching start to come undone on hems and/or decorative stitching and they will repair it. I think they call it reinforcing.
@strawb3rries - the shorts do not have padding. That is why I liked them. I don't need pads for a 60 min spin class.
@ anon 5:44 am - I thought they were true to size/generously sized. I wouldn't say over-sized but if you have "athletic" hips and thighs I think they are good.
@Lynn-Ann -- The same thing happened to me. I tried to order a few things from the loot last Friday and on Monday got an email saying that half my order was actually out of stock......
