Lululemon released a second version of the Plum Scuba. This is Plum / Whisper. I have the Plum Scuba from the first release. There are a couple of subtle changes:

The zipper is metal and surrounded by Whisper-colored material. I really dislike Lululemon's metal zippers but I'm not sure making the zipper a contrasting color would put me off buying the plum Scuba if I missed it the first time around. I only have two Scubas, one in Plum and one in the Wish Blue Multi Poncho Stripe, and I love them both. Plum is a great color for fair-skinned brunettes and really pops your eyes if they are lighter colored.

Plum is such a great color. I am disappointed about the metal zip. Seems like most scubas have the metal zip now. It just seems like lulu is cutting corners on making neat zips with cool toggles.
I prefer the older plum scuba. I have it and almost every time I wear it I get compliments. Such a beautiful color. I really wish they would have come out with more solid tanks in plum. Maybe they will later this year since they seem to release previously used colors.
Stop making me want this more ;)

I have the plum scoopneck and I'm a fair skinned brunette. It's one of my favorite tops. This scuba is so tempting but I don't know what size I would take. I wear an 8 in the define.
I have a plum Awareness wrap - always get compliments! Love the colour... would pick up a scuba but I don't need both
This is cute. I own like 6 define jackets but never a scuba hoodie. I want to order one, but I think I am going to hold out and see what the Vegas store has to offer.
There is nothing innovative here, Lululemon is just changing the tint on their colors Oasis - Surge - Snorkel, etc. and re releasing the same item.
The older one is better. I do NOT like that contrasting zipper - it makes the item's overall affect look like a much cheaper product. So glad I got one the first go around!!!
@ Anon 3:59 am - kind of agree. I am a little disappointed at the lack of new workout tanks/tops. There have been a ton of new crops designs (really tweakings of existing designs) but not nearly as many new tanks. There are some I am glad to see come back, like the Energy SL, but would love some new designs, too. I like the new Spirit tank but would love to see it in pink or another bright color for summer.
Totally agree, nothing really new here! The colors are so similar to what I already have that I can't justify buying any more Lulu unless it's some cute shorts marked down 50% in Loot! ;)
I mentioned this on FB too. My plum scuba arrived and I returned it right away. The color is gorgeous, but the zipper is huge. Big and metal and noisy. Oh well, I could then buy the Cool Down Jacket and love it.
