More Photos of the Run: Take Flight Vest

I was out of the house all day yesterday so I missed this initially but the Short Pump (I know, weird) store posted lots of photos of the new Run: Take Flight Vest:

Honestly, now that I see close ups of it, I don't like it nearly as much. Maybe it's better in person.

I find vests confusing. I am either hot and want a tank top or cold and would need sleeves. Wearing this vest would be like having the flu......are you hot or cold or both?

It's dumb. All the attention went into the branding, but where's the practicality...?

I agree with Emily! What is the purpose of this vest?

I run in vests a lot in the spring and I'll probably a least try this one on (my fave is the Clarity Vest from a year or two ago). They're not for everyone, I guess, but I find them perfect for when the temps are in the 40s F - the temp where a jacket is going to be too hot after the first mile of my run, but it's a little too rainy or chilly (particularly when you factor in the Chicago wind) out for just a Swiftly LS or SS.

It's perfect for that wonder woman look! There's a lot of material on the front which makes it look kind of warm?

reminds me of my husbands bullet proof vest

LOL @ momof5-the front of it actually reminds me of a baseball umpire's vest, two thumbs down imo :(

More Let Let IT Loose Tanks at Vaughan Mills. But where are all the size 10's? Did the educators buy them all or are they on hold for special customers?

The front reminds me of a French maid's apron... where's the black feather duster?

@ anon 9:56 am: I was just thinking the same thing! I understand vests--very handy in a cold weight room when training clients and holding onto stop watches, pencils, measuring tape, etc, but still have freedom of movement to spot, demonstrate, etc. however, this particular vest has got WAY too much going on! keep it simple...

On the other hand.. the dewberry CRB is really nice! Reversible- but I would always wear my other ones inside out! So- not really a new feature- besides the logo on both sides.

$98 for a vest????? What the heck! That is beyond ridiculous. I mean seriously, there are no sleeves. There is not that much material!!

Do not want. It looks uncomfortable to wear. I have the Velocity running vest from a couple of years ago--it's so pretty and has a ton of functional features to it. Lulu really needs to bring back all the neat details that their older tech pieces have--like adjustable hems, neck openings, well-made seams, ect.

I also really like that heathered black define. These heathered colorways are just gorgeous and very wearable.

I bought this vest today and can't wait to wear it. It's super cute in person. Yes, it was costly, but even after I purchased it, I heard a salesgirl say she was getting one, and another employee remarked they will be sold out of those fast!
