Spirit Tank - First Wearing Review

I wore my new Spirit Tank to the gym today for a weight lifting and spinning workout. I was really happy with it. The straps did not fall off my shoulders at all - yay for me! The center of the front did pop open a little bit when I was bent over the bike with my hands shoulder-width apart but I checked in the mirror in class and I couldn't see anything since it's so high cut. Only I could look down my own shirt. You wear your own sport bra underneath and most are designed to be seen so I still think it's not big deal that it pops open a little. Another good thing about this tank is that it didn't ride up on me like some of my luxtreme tanks do. Maybe because it's a little longer but I have to keep pulling my Push UR Limits tanks down in spin. One bad thing about luxtreme is that certain colors really show sweat so my tank certainly reflected my workout in spin. The perspiration marks in my mid-section weren't so noticeable since it blended with the color transition but it was very noticeable under my arms. I don't really care that much but if you are a little self-conscious get the black tank. Anyway, I am super happy with this tank.

Hey LuluAddict! How much is the Spirit Tank and do you think it will work for the smaller chested crowd?

I was in my store today returning a defective item. I spotted a white body scoop neck with what i believe was heathered grapeseed neck. Havent seen this mentioned. It was very cute spotted it as i was leaving so no pictures.

What color did you get Luluaddict?

Yes, works for the smaller chested. Bought yesterday. I tried it with the arise bra and the straps can be seen front and back but I think that just adds to the look. Good choice, luluaddict!

I picked up the Surge Spirit Tank from my store yesterday, it's fantastic. It will show sweat in a heavy workout, so I might save it for my lighter days and just going out during the day. The shoulder straps are so flattering, and don't fall off - definitely worth it.

I'm quite busty for my size, so I was pleased to see that the bust area didn't get see-through from stretching! I think it will also be very flattering on smaller chested ladies as well. The first tank I've bought since the Heart tank from autumn - lulu tanks usually don't fit me right, so this was awesome!

i tried the spirit tank in grey and it looked just ok. i have 36c/d and still had to go size down to keep the shoulders straps on. i did not like the shoulder straps- too thin for my muscular build. also, the back looks too busy with 2 colors+gather+another bra straps... the fabric is amazing!

Hi LuluAddict!

Any chance for pics of the Spirit Tank with an energy bra underneath?? I second anon 9:42's opinion that the back may have too much goin on with straps, gathers and colors?? Would, however, love to pair it with my Tango energy, sigh.
Also, feedback on armpit area: any chafing or pinching here; looks pretty high cut??

@ anon 11:38 pm - I only did a 5 min warm up on the elliptical, upper weight lifting and spin routine so nothing that would cause me to chafe under the arms. Luxtreme is pretty slippery and the seams are nicely finished so I can't help you much there.

The Spirit tank is $52.

Why is anyone worried about showing sweat? Isn't that the point of working out? If I'm not sweaty at the end of a boot camp session...well, I don't know what I'd do or think because it hasn't happened yet! :)

Is the spirit tank TTS?? I picture it like the pep tank, which I needed to size down in. I may ask the Cali Lulu buyers to snag me one, but not sure of the size. Can anyone chime in? Thanks =)
