Today I finally got smart and called the GEC to see if my local stores had received the Black Seabed Power Y in my size. When I went to the stores last week they only had a few in size 6 and 8. This has happened to me before where the latest things come out in a limited size run early in the week and then the rest of the sizes show up later. Now that gas is getting pricey and I read on Lululemon's Facebook page the GEC can check store inventory for you, I decided to call. My local store had two in stock and so I went to get it today. This is a print so the fabric content of this Power Y is 88% polyester and 12% lycra. I know some people say it feels like "granny" fabric but I find it pleasant against my skin and more breathable and wicking than regular luon. Lulu makes the prints from
polyester so they don't fade over time.
The store had a couple of other new things since I visited last week. There was also a Power Y in solid Heathered Sand Dune. I really like Heathered Sand Dune but haven't found the perfect tank in it yet. I am kind of hoping it will come out in a CRB in this color. I am looking for a CRB to go with my Wren DSCs and Wren Still pants. I also saw the store had both Pink Mist and Pink Mist/White Microstripe CRBs. I kind of like the White Microstripe version better since it's a tiny bit lighter.
This is a really bad photo but the color in the bottom left corner is Pink Mist and the top corner is the Pink Mist White Microstripe. You can tell from this photo the microstripe is slightly lighter. Another big difference is the feel of the fabric. The Pink Mist CRB feels like a regular CRB but the microstripe versions all feel softer, thicker, and less breathable to me. I toyed with getting this CRB but for now I can live without it. I am hoping some Silverscent and running tanks are coming soon for summer. I wanted to try on the new Turbo shorts that are supposed to be geared towards more "athletic" legs but I didn't see them. I also wanted to see the new Mudra pants but they weren't there either.
My store had some older Retro Groove gym bags on sale for $79 (from $98). I checked them out since I'm getting rather bored with my gym bag but I wouldn't mind a heftier markdown to induce me to get a new one. ;-)
I got a Fedex delivery today but it was from the order I made last Wednesday. I got a blurred gray and Tango Dance Headband. The order I made on the 15th still hasn't shown up yet. Lululemon said to call if you haven't received your missing packages by Wednesday so I'll wait until then. I know lots of people have received their wayward packages so I'm hoping it will show up soon.

You mentioned about GEC. I am glad they can check inventory now. I have had horrible experience with GEC and I am about to stop buying Lululemon all together. First of all, their return policy is the worst of all the companies I buy from. For example, I bought a tee shirt for my husband but he does not want to wear it. The tee shirt cost $44 (big discount from original $59 NOT!). They will not take back the tee shirt just because of the discount? I am sure someone else would be happy to buy the tee shirt from the store. There have been several incidents like that and now I have several unwanted products. Lululemon is the only company I know who don't take back anything just because it was on sale. Gap would let me return $1.99 tee shirt! So stupid policy! I hope they can change this unreasonable policy!
@ Jane - You can probably get all or most of your money back on your husband's shirt and other items by selling them on eBay. You can also try listing it on the Facebook resale pages, the Exchange and Trading Post, listed on the right side of the blog. Lulu says they keep the return policy interval short because they turn over stock so fast and that is why they don't allow returns on markdown stuff since it's presumably been hanging around the store for a long time. The short return window is a pain but it works in our favor by keeping re-sale prices on ebay high.
it's no secret that the sale items are a final sale, it is always pointed out.

I said I think it's like "grandma" fabric, not "granny" fabric -- BIG difference!!! ;) My grandma was pretty hip and stylish, my granny on the other hand....her clothes weren't quite as happenin'!!! I actually have the UT CRB, which is made out of the same polyester fabric -- and I have to admit, it is quite silky and smooth to wear!!!!
I bought two vinyasa scarfs. However they don't work on me. Too much fabric. Went to my local lulu store to return. They wouldn't take them back. They are considered final sale b/c they are in the category of headwear etc. If I had known would not have bought them. It is disgusting that they didn't point that out to me when I purchased them. Sometimes Lululemon really frustrates me. They both were in the original bags, with tags and I had the receipts. They clearly were not worn. They wouldn't make the exception even though it was not known when they were purchased.

I live in Pennsylvania and received both my orders from the 15th, yesterday the 25th. There still is hope!! Plus I love my new matching Bon voyage and travel pouch. Super cute set!
I bought the Power Y in heathered sand dune yesterday, and surprisingly, LOVED it on me. I am blonde and not too tan yet, but it still looks good with the gold undertones in my skin. It's an off-beat color, but I say if you can rock it, ROCK IT!
Do you have any inside track on the new color palette for Summer? It can't be these neutral colors.
@ Anon 4:18 am - Wow, I am surprised about them not letting you return them. I took mine back the next day. Post a question on the lulu Facebook page and see what they say. The other commenter is right - you can sell them on ebay and get back what you paid.
As far as colors, I think we've seen hints in some of the lastest things that have been released - Toothpaste, Surge, & Pink Mist Space Dye. I don't know if that is summer or still spring, though. I would like some brighter colors.
i received Tango Red CRB today. SO CUTE. love love :)
now it takes full 7 days to receive an online order. Before Apr 15th, it took about 5 days.

Some might like their snobby return policy but I really hate it. I will stop buying their product for sure now.
