Shipping Times - Has Yours Changed?
Lululemon is now shipping US orders out of Washington State. The delivery time on my order looks like it will take a full week to get to me. Has yours changed at all? I used to get stuff overnight provided I ordered early enough in the day. This will make website order decisions a lot trickier for me. By the time an item gets to me it's likely to already be in my local stores. That's the big reason I never ordered from the GEC. Clothes would usually arrive at my local store before it would get delivered to me. Although, it seems website shipping is taking longer than the GEC. Now I'll be faced with the decision to wait to see if an item shows up at my local stores or order it earlier from the web and then risk a return - because if I see it in the store I'll probably buy it on the spot to fulfill my instant gratification impulses. If the website content lags the local stores I most likely won't be ordering as nearly as much as I used to. If the web gets stuff earlier, I'll probably be doing more returns and I hate having a return hanging over my head. Hmmm.

I placed an order today and noticed that the tracking number that I got was for a 1 lb package when I ordered 5 things. I think they either shipped my items to the wrong person or hopefully they just gave me the wrong tracking info and my items are on their way to me. Either way I'm not happy that their distribution center is no longer in so cal too since I loved the overnight shipping from their old warehouse.
My order just shipped out from WA, too. We'll see how long it takes. I too was spoiled by the near-overnight shipping in SoCal.
nooo!!!! i love the instant gratification from website shopping!!!!! but, hopefully it won't take a full week. with the cali distribution site, my order estimation time was always longer than it actually took...so there's hope! let us know how long it turns out to be!

Mine used to take 6 0r 7 days and this time it say 6 days so it hasn't changed much but, the destination on the Fedex website says TX and I'm in MA!! I hope this is wrong. I will just keep an eye on the Fedex website.
It always took a week for my stuff to go from Vancouver to Toronto. It's still worth the wait, especially for items not on stores or loot. I'm hoping for a good loot upload soon...
I placed three separate orders yesterday morning. One shows tracking destination coming to my correct suburban chicago city. Another package shows the destination as Massachusetts and the other shows the destination as Chicago, IL. So, only one of my three packages is coming to me? Also, they were ordered within an hour of each other and they show three different arrival dates! Will call today and hope all pkgs are coming to me!
The destination on the Fedex site must be the next Holding area...I ordered 5 things and I do them all separately. I pay with Paypal and if one thing becomes out of stock on an order, they cancel the entire order with Paypal. So I just order each separatelu.....I have 2 going to Ill, 1 going to Texas, 1 coming to Fl(my home) and another with no destination. The 2 to Ill say Apr. 22 delivery and the other 3 say April 21. I guess we will see.
I'm glad I'm not alone with all the different funky fed ex destinations...
Ordering in canada to the east coast takes a full 10-11 days to get to me! I wish I got it overnight, I would even take 5-6 days

I got ZERO lulu confirmations for my 3 paypal orders yesterday! I called and the gal states they will look into it. Seriously??? I wanted her to cancel and I would just go to the shop, prob end up buying exactly what i "need"......she couldn't help me. Not cool!
It looks like it will be the same for me now as before (midwest). Was always 6 days and now 7. Generally I order because I don't know if my store will get certain items. Often, the items come into the store in the meantime while I'm waiting for my pkg to arrive. But also there are many times my store never gets something I ordered online.
I live in Toronto, so it is always a week. I still buy online because its never been worn and the item is in mint condition.
Not sure. I still haven't gotten shipping notification. I emailed yesterday after I ordered because I didn't get order confirmation and they sent me a copy of the order. When I went to track it on the website, it says there is no order. I emailed again to see if it really shipped. I'm getting kinda ticked!
Uh oh -- looks like they may have celebrated with champagne and cupcakes too soon - I am really confused as to why the whole changeover process has taken so long (still taking so long) and why they would have put the new distribution center in a location that takes LONGER for packages to arrive throughout the country. If the whole goal was to reform the ecommerce experience, why on earth would they not make it easier and faster -- It seem like the Ohio hub that most other mass retailers use would have been much more ideal --
I'm reading lots of comments on FB how Fedex has their orders going to the wrong place or the order not even showing up. Hopefully it all gets straightened out quickly.
I live near Toronto so I have always had to wait a week as well. I'm okay with that and still order online.
I live in WA so I'll have to order something and let you know. If it takes longer than 2 days to get to me, there's something amiss.
Online orders used to ship from a warehouse 15-20 min from my house and get to me overnight. I bought a lot online since it came so fast. May think twice about it now that it will be coming from several states away.
I ordered 24 hours ago, from the Canadian side of the online store. I received a quick email sayIng I had made the order, and that I would get confirmation the order and payment went through within a day... And nothing. Previously, I would get a shipping confirmation email within hours of the order. Now I'm wondering what happened to my order! Is it still being prOcessed? Is it lost? Did it actually go through?
I live in MA and it used to take me a solid 5 business days. Now it says my fedex desitation is another city in MA (About 45 min away from me).. but it's saying it will arrive withing 4 busines days.. so maybe a day quicker?? Hope these destination cities don't screw things up!
Addendum to my 924am post: when I log in to check my order, it still says processing. Will this processing time become an issue when trying to order the 'hot' items on release day? Will we order things only to find out two days later the order was cancelled as items disappeared during the processing time?
I recently ordered a viol CRB and it usually takes a week for me to get my packages. Days later I order more. I went online to check the tracking and the second order was on it's way EARLIER than the first! And to make matters worse, my CRB went from CA to MD!! And I'm in Hawaii, so clearly there was some directional impairment. It stayed in MD, probably confusing everyone for a week. Finally I got the CRB THREE weeks after it shipped. Several other Lulu orders had been correctly delivered in that time frame. And this is before the whole changeover fiasco. They said it was a FEDEx prob, but really...USPS would have been faster and more economical!
I wish I had this problem, there is no lulu where I live. you california girls are so spoiled. ;)

for me, the new time won't really change how i shop, returning and such. if i know it's on its way, i don't get it, and i'm not in the stores as much as i used to be. it was just a bummer, but you're right--spoiled. ;)
it always took 5 biz days to get from CA to NH so I'm used to waiting. however, the order I placed Friday is saying the destination is Westport, CT. I know there is a Lululemon store there--been there, padded their cash register with my $$$. i wonder if they are using their stores as jumping off points? however, there is a store much closer to me than that one. so, i'll guess i'll have to wait and see...
Haven't ordered online yet, but I am in Utah and it always took 3 days when the warehouse was in Cali. I'm hoping that having the warehouse in WA will still be around 3 days to get to me. If I ordered Thursday AM after the download, I would have my order on Saturday.
I don't think the shipping time to get to Nova Scotia, Canada could get any worse.. lol it takes a full 2 weeks for orders to get here! Maybe they will open a warehouse in Ontario or somewhere closer to here. Would be nice not to have to wait so long!

@anon 9:47 - i had the same problem with mine! I live in Hawaii too, and something I ordered from Lulu went from CA to MD as well! I was so irritated because it took about as long as you for mine to get to me!
I called GEC today because i had placed two orders on Friday morning and had not received any notification that the order was received. They told me to call back tomorrow to check because of all the maintenance and renovation issues they were undergoing. They did assure me that if I did place an order, it went through regardless of whether or not I received an email confirmation. Crossing my fingers!
