I like burnout fabrics but I don't care the alphabet-looking manifesto. This tee-shirt would be cute in solid colors, too. It looks like a nice shape.

I adore my empower crops. So much so, I've bought four pairs already. My latest pair came with some stitching unraveling so I'll need to take these into lulu for a diagnosis. Hopefully it's minor and an easy fix!
I tried on the zoom crops and noticed the luxtreme felt different than my empowers. Needless to say I didn't buy them and was slightly disappointed. These run with it crops look like a definite hit for me. Hopefully while I'm in the vicinity of a store next week they'll have them in stock. I was looking for a luxtreme crop with loose knees too!! Woohoo!!
Ooh, I like this look of these new crops. I don't have Empowers b/c I just don't like the tight knees, this crop is probably just what I've been waiting for. I also like the v-neck manifesto, but I don't like the switch to pima instead of modal. I'd rather pay more for modal, it looks much nicer.
oh i like the looks of these -- cant wait for a try-on review or real pics -- sadly they probably won't hit online til mid june!!
side rant -- did anyone else catch how they dropped the price of the modern racer burnout tank to 52 -- except for the lime color which is 68-- arghh---i hate when they do that -- i would just feel like a sucker -- i think 52 is pricey for that style, let alone -68!!--
These were all on my product notification from my local store--San Diego showroom, fyi. I posted them on FB.
I love the burnouts - in all versions of the manifesto and have a bunch of them. Excited to see a shorter sleeve. I'll definately try to get one of these.
I love my Empower Crops too and have been hoping that they'll put out some new black ones with Potion Purple accents. But these crops look really promising.
Given that the running season is well underway, I'm not sure why Lulu seems to be holding off getting new run stuff into the stores ... Do they really do so little research that they don't know that almost every marathon training program in the country is starting up sometime in the next three weeks? That's a lot of runners who are looking for (and spending money on) good running clothes right now.
@momof5 - I've been waiting for the manifesto racerback to showup online in lime for awhile now. I was pleasantly surprised when I spotted one in store on a trip I took a few weeks ago. I paid 52 in store. Not to add fuel to your fire, but the price discrepancies between stores, between stores and online, and between product colors IS somewhat irritating. Love my lulu but some policies can certainly be less than lovable!!
@Gina -- thanks for the validation -- they are rather irritating with their price changes --
My local Pilates studio is having a Lululemon trunk show -- has anyone been to one -- wasn't quite sure what to expect
@Momof5 - the price difference is due to the fabric. The $68 manifesto tanks are made with modal. The $52 tanks are made with pima. If you saw them side by side you'd see the difference. The modal is much smoother.
@Momof5 - I see what you're saying now! Just went to check the price again, it seems only one is priced at $68 and the others, no matter the fabric, are $52! How annoying!
@momof5 - I've been to one trunk show at a local pilates studio. It just consists of lululemon dragging some of their stock to the studio. They brought newer and some markdown stuff to the one I went to. I ended up getting my Pulse Wrap at it. The odd thing about it was that they cut the bottom off the hang tag - the part that has the price and model number and left the description part. I don't know why they did that because it wasn't like I got a special price. There were no discounts. I keep all my hang tags of every piece I buy so it bugged me that they cut it.
I just pulled out my LS manifesto burnout, which is modal, and compared it to the pima racerback. I was so excited to see the lime racerback in-store I grabbed it without even thinking twice if there was a material difference between the two. The modal IS really silk like to the touch, however I'm not disappointed with my racerback.
I wonder if the v neck is modal or pima?
@gina - the product notification says it is a combination of pima cotton, polyester and spandex. I like the modal better at least in the raceback. I just finished tracking down a modal white racerback and it wasn't easy. I was told that they are going to pima because the modal didn't hold up as well and easily snagged. They told me it modal was a more delicate fabric. I just liked it because of the smoother appearance when it was on. I hope the vneck is smoother than the pima racerback because I really want it.
Is this an older version of v-neck manifesto?

It was from Oakville's FB photos.
@ Anon 10:10 - I think that might be the long sleeve version of the V-neck Manifesto. I have three old-print manifesto (smaller print, like on the totes you receive the product in) in long sleeve, and two in the newer print (Alphabetical big block-style as in this product alert) in long sleeve. Both are in modal. I prefer the smaller print - not as catchy and distracting.
I do like the idea of short sleeve version. If only they'd make something like this but in luon. I'd love to see a short-sleeve shirt that's made just like the CRB. I love the 5-year pima, but you can't sweat in that at all since it's cotton.
@angela dawn - what colors do you have in the long sleeve? I was thinking of getting one but I think the larger print is what I didn't like at first. I agree the smaller print is more subtle. I am going back tomorrow to see what's new and maybe I'll try the long sleeve one again. I think the one they have now is modal in the long sleeve.
The Fresh Manifesto V neck is already in my store. They had it in white, passion and lavender. It's cute but it was very snug in the sleeves, almost too tight in my regular size. I might go back & get it later this week.
I tried on the Fresh Manifesto in Lavender and loved it! I think I even like the material better than the usual modal that it's made out of.
Saw the run with it crop today and the leg band is very different. You can't really see it in the pictures but it reminds me of the cuff on a sweatpant to some extent. I'm interested to see what you think about them- they only had 3 pairs and none even close to my size so I didn't try them.
The manifesto v-neck was cute, but again none in my size and I could tell the sleeve length would not be flattering on my buff arms :) Also, they had them right next to the modal manifesto tank and the difference was striking- as someone said earlier, the modal looks so much nicer.
The current iteration of the manifesto print isn't my favorite (read: I don't like it at all). It looks like alphabet soup to me; there isn't anything about it that I find inspiring. Even if you look real closely at it, you just see a few words. Otherwise it looks like random letters to me. I hope maybe they'll bring back the Bliss manifesto or Enchanted manifesto prints. Those actually make sense!
I have four Go Go Shoppers; I want a few more so I can always have enough to carry my groceries, but I don't want to buy the ones on the website because they're all that yucky, busy manifesto print.
