Mother's Day Present to Myself - Circuit Tech Tank

I must have spent over an hour at Lululemon yesterday before I went home with the Circuit Tech Tank (show in middle). I tried on the new Wrap Strap Tank (very similar to old Wrap Tank except for thin shoulder straps), Hip Halter Tank (shown a few posts below), and a really cool cover up tunic made of lightweight circle mesh material. I'll post info about them as soon as I find photos to illustrate.

I spent a lot of time trying on the Race Tech, Circuit Tech, and Track Tech tops from Lululemon's running line. All of them are made of lightweight, stretchy, breathable Silversescent that is so lightweight it feels like you have nothing on. The only bad thing about this material is that it really showcases sweat in the darker colors.

The Race Tech is the top pictured on the left. I liked the Race Tech a lot, particularly the fact that it has a racer back and a drawstring to customize the length. The main reason I didn't get it is that I prefer a lower, more open neckline. I was looking for maximum cooling for hot weather spin classes and I like having an open neckline to help keep me cool.

I also like the Track Tech short sleeve top a lot. If you want more coverage but maximum breathability, the Track Tech is your best best.

I ended up getting the Circuit Tech because I love the racer back and open neckline. (It was also $20 cheaper than the Race Tech) I wore it to spin class this morning and it was great - so comfortable and cool.

Conditioning Tank - Try On Review

I tried on a bunch of stuff at the Lululemon store yesterday. One of my favorites was the Conditioning Tank. It is a lightweight, low impact top that is very feminine and very flattering. It has adjustable, stretchy straps and is gathered in the front to enhance and flatter the bustline. I loved how lightweight and breathable it was. The back is made of perforated (circle) mesh. It does not have bra cup pockets. It is a great top for warm low impact workouts or even just to wear around town on hot summer days.

  • This tank will definitely keep you cool during your workout
  • Wicking/quick dry lullure fabric offers you coverage while circle mesh bodice will keep you cool
  • Straps can be worn 2 ways - x-back or regular
  • Mesh/WDW bra construction for optimum breathability & comfort
  • Chafe resistant - flat seams

New Adventures of Old Christine - Lulutastic

Last night's episode of New Adventures of Old Christine featured a bunch of clothes from Lululemon. I love when I spot Lululemon on tv shows. This episode spent most of the time in a gym so they got to showcase a lot of athletic wear. I spotted some Bebe Sport in the background players, too. Julie Louis-Dreyfus wore a black Deep V, three different athletic Deep Vs from the Spring line, and a Tri Y. She also paired it with Lululemon pants. She is the typical SoCal Lululemon consumer - fit, affluent, and in her 30s/40s (honestly, who else can afford to buy Lululemon unless you work at a store) - and she looked great. This isn't the first time I've spotted Lululemon on the show. In the photo above, Barb is wearing a Shape Jacket.

Hip Halter Tank - So Cute!

Isn't this cute? It's the new Hip Halter Tank. Lululemon hasn't updated their website, not even the hidden links for the product alerts, so I can't give too much more information than this photo. However, it is made of luon and has cup pockets. It has an empire waist and fits loose through the tummy and hips. It is long and will come past your hip bones. I think it may only go up to a 10 since that is all my store had but I hope not. If they had my size I would have bought it.

Hey, Lululemon, can you put some product information on your website? I'm sure most people care more about your clothes than your blog. Thanx.
