I was really disappointed when I saw the fresh in mesh tight in store today. The ankle part below the mesh is super shiny and made of much thinner material than above the mesh. I don't even have words to describe the boob show produced by the fresh in mesh tank:( pretty ordinary upload in the uk today and just black versions of everything. Can't keep buying new items in black black and more black. Only consolation maybe is the special edition sculpt tank.

When will they stop with the mesh. Instead of pulling back they are giving us more by way of tanks that now look like lingerie and they can't even stop themselves from making l/s tops that expose the bra. To me none of these designs are technically innovative or creative, they are just a means to sell more sports bras and frankly I find it pathetic and as a woman and consumer I just have to say enough is enough. It started over a year ago with just a little bit of mesh and larger arm holes, lower necklines, holes and slits in the back of s/s and l/s, then came partial and entire mesh backs. You would be hard pressed to find any new designs in the past year that didn't show some part of the bra to designs like we see here. I know if I don't like it I don't have to buy it and I'm not. I just find it sad that this is what active wear for women has become.

I really don't like how shiny that Fresh In Mesh LS is. Doubt I'd like the material.

I don't appreciate exposing my cleavage to the world when I'm just trying to exercise. It's bad enough having attention from some men who think that tight pants worn when stretching is a gratuitous display for them.

That's disappointing about the fresh mesh tight. I really liked the back seaming. I don't mind the mesh. Sometimes when I think I'm over it and go back to solid tights, I miss the mesh. The bra showing style is the thing now. It too will pass. I have fun with these trendier pieces.

I agree that the top few photos look more like Bandier and not at all like like Lulu. They don't have the same vibe as the usual stuff. I don't care for the style or the shiny material, but I know some brands that do this are popular. It will be interesting to see if people buy these pieces.

I personally like trendy pieces and don't mind some mesh on my pants or tanks with mesh back. I also like larger arm holes that show sports bra. They usually have great ventilation and you don't get overheated. I do very intense workouts and usually end up with my clothes soaked in sweat so that helps. Plus mesh looks cute and makes solid colored leggings not so boring

I'm looking for the name of a hat that I just lost while boating. It was black - I bought it about 4 months ago in Austin TX. It was like a half baseball cap. Essentially the back half of the hat was open. Had a bill. Looked like a normal hat from the front. You could wear your hair up in a bun/pony/etc in the back without having to pull it through a hole. No zippers. The back was adjustable by a sliding clip. Came in black, olive green and (maybe) navy. Would be forever grateful for any leads!

Well said, anon @6:14.

And yes, there's a market for it, but I think it's a lot smaller than Lulu's old approach of feminine and flirty, but not trashy. This is ... bad. It's very much a male idea of women exercising. Hyper sexual, not athletic.

Hoping this is not a sign of things to come...

I like the Fresh In Mesh LS. I like the lighter weight luxtreme l/s's. I like the back design. I like the sports bra as an fashion accessory vs purely a functional piece.

The Fresh In Mesh Tank reminds me of the Pedal Pace Tank from 2 years ago. The good thing about the older tank is that the bra was cut straight across (no v-neck) and there was a zipper that went down the front so you could choose how revealing a look you wanted. Not sure how well this Fresh In Mesh Tank will do.

If I want to show my cleavage off, that's not sad, nor is loving mesh to show off my bras and my back pathetic. Maybe it feels sad for you to do it? But to me, it makes me feel sexy and powerful and I think I have great boobs so I love clothes that can accentuate them. And I love pretty, strappy, sexy bras and I love showing them off at the gym and out for a run. LOVE it.

It doesn't have to be for you - not everything is for everyone. If you don't want to show your bra off, you don't have to. But don't knock down those who like it with words like sad and pathetic.

My point is : let's all just let each other be and stop hating so much. I love LuluAddict - Love seeing the new stuff all in one place, and no, I don't like everything! Most things I'm only lukewarm on, but I know that those things will be loved and rocked by many other women, who..to them, it makes them feel like the most amazing, gorgeous, sexy and powerful woman in the world. So I would NEVER want to take them down with negative words.

:-)

Thanks for keeping us informed. oh gosh, more mesh. No thanks! It is interesting they keep pushing the mesh and these types of looks but it's not for me. I'm a hard core athlete and if we're going to get into a topic on sexy, it's an attitude and the way you carry yourself without even trying to be sexy; it's not your clothing. On these clothes, don't even get me started on lack of functionality/performance.

Black/dark colors and mesh again...

@Anon 6:39a.m. Well voicing my opinion sure lit a fire under you and that's not a bad thing because differing opinions can be a good thing if it creates a healthy conversation. What I don't appreciate is you changing my words around as I did not say female consumers of these products are pathetic or sad, I called the company that for using these design strategies to sell more bras. You are taking my comment as a personal attack and that's unfortunate because that was not my intention. There was no hate in my words, only an observation of the company. What you or anyone choose to wear is of no concern to me and all the more power to you if you want to look and feel sexy when working out and if these designs give you that, then that's great.

@anon 3:12: It was the baller hat run (ponytail).

@anon 6:39: I agree with you. We should support everyone who comes to this blofg. We may not all agree on what we like but everyone has their own opinions. And different things look great on different people. This is why fashin is fun. There's something for everyone.

anon 6:39,
We are all giving our opinions on the clothes..... enough trying to steer this into something it is not...... I agree been wearing lululemon since the beginning. I used to go to vancouver bc when my nan was alive every year and always go to lululemon, back then It was unique and special everyone at my gym would always ask about the pieces I wore and compliment them! I agree that lululemon has lost its appeal and caters to the "corporate machine" of sameness...... its still got alot of great things however, but its specialness is gone! And alot of the style today in athletic wear is a little trashy! IMHO!!!!

Is it the baller run hat (ponytail)? www.lulufanatics.com/collection/3407/lululemon-baller-hat-run-ponytail-

I enjoy reading everyone's opinions on this site, that's the main reason I keep coming back, at least in the last 2 years.
Lately lulu has just been churning out what the industry is pushing to the consumers of athletic wear.
I live in NYC and the mesh and the color ways you see above are everywhere. mesh and muted colors are the thing right now.

All the athletic wear companies are making the same designs and colors. overkill in my book.
As for the sexy while you workout thing, it's not for me. I don't like to have to worry about dudes or chicks checking me out while I sweat. I also try to mind my business while working out.
