Velvet Dusk and Cherry Blossom with the Culture Clash WUPs. I got my Culture Clash items yesterday and really like the print since you can pair it with so many colors. I really wish it came in regular Wunder Under Crop length. I'm not exactly sold on the Wunder Under Half Tights. I'm also going to wait to de-tag the Energy bra in hopes that there is a Culture Clash Free to Be Serene Bra coming.

The round trip jacket reminds me of a jacket they put out a while back, maybe 4 years ago? I can't remember what it was called, but I do remember it being a popular style. I'm happy to see some details added back in after so many very plain jacket designs this past year.
OMG!!! Finally a jacket with some design detail reminiscent of old Lulu designs. I can't wait to try this on in store. I love the colour pelt and was hoping for something I liked to be made in it. It looks like ruching is back on the design table and I am loving it on this jacket on the back and collar. I only hope there are thumbholes but there is no mention of it on the tag. As for the Press Pause Jacket, I wish they would press pause on short cropped jackets, enough already! The culture clash print is really nice but unless they make some Swiftlies in Cherry Blossom, Velvet Dusk or a matching blue I won't be buying anything in the print.
This will be 2 rain jackets released in a span of two weeks, a little late in the season for them. Why do they stick with only black and navy for rain jackets, I would love a dark muted colour like Black Current or Pelt.
I got the round trip jacket today. I really like it - it actually has some design to it unlike a lot of the boxy minimalist items we've seem from Lulu. I will say it's quite slim fitting through the body. I tried on a size up from my TTS but the shoulder area drooped down as it was too big. It seems like a lot of items are running slightly small - I tried the speed up shorts which I bought in a size up as my TTS just hugged my butt way too much. I also tried on the speed up crops which my TTS felt a half size smaller than usual. I'm always a 4 in bottoms but this was almost too small. I didin't like the seaming on the butt - just made my behind look squarish. I wish they had kept the seaming design from the speed crops/tights.
For Seawheezers coming from out of town, the West 4th store is a must visit. The new renos look amazing. And there's kombucha on tap :)
I actually am always a 6 in jackets and bought the 8 in the round trip jacket. It's really nice and flattering!
I tried the Round Trip Jacket in-store; it is super cute in person! I love the little peplum flare going on at the back. It makes for a nice, feminine touch, but not too crazy. It fits very nicely, and is kind of light, so it would be perfect for a nice fall day.
I didn't buy it right away because I have so many Lulu investments going on already: just got myself a gorgeous Scuba Hoodie II off Poshmark, I bought the Final Lap Tank on WMTM, I have my eyes on a Dark Adobe Define Jacket, and I'm saving up for the Circuit Breaker Skirt, and maybe a couple Speed Shorts when they hit WMTM soon. But this jacket is definitely on my radar.
Round Trip Jacket: finally a pretty replacement for the DSJ!!!! The In Flux was pretty boring compared to the DSJ so I never bought one. I'm actually excited for this.
Press Pause, on the other hand, looks like another generic boxy hoodie that I could buy just about anywhere for $20.
To those who tried on the Round Trip Jacket does it have thumbholes? Also, from the pictures here does it really have a pink/grey lining in the Pelt Colour? One more question, does it only come in Pelt and the green? TIA
Anon@6:54 - no thumbholes. The lining in the Pelt colour is dark grey. It comes in Pelt, dark olive and black.
The Round Trip Jacket is a definite size up jacket. I have very narrow shoulders and the size up fit perfectly all over. Once you size up it is not as snug a fit as the DSJ probably due to the slight flare from under the bust down. NO this jacket does not have thumbholes, my one complaint about this jacket.
Anon 2:23a.m. you are so right, the Press Pause Jacket is just another short boring zip up hoodie and not worth the $118. IMO Although I didn't see it in the pelt colour in store today what I did see was easily a pass for me.
Pretty replacement for the Dance Studio Jacket? Nope. I'd never wear this over my DSJ. It's just not that pretty or flattering. DSJ is flattering and timelessly detailed/styled. I'm glad I own a DSJ and can ignore this Round Trip jacket.
