I keep hoping the company is turning the corner, and then they do things like this. Why kill the Speed Short? Why kill the Speed Tight? Such fantastic garments. I have the feeling I've said that before once or twice. Or a dozen times.

Glad I have a nice collection of Speed Tights. The new ones make all the models' butts look huge. Not sure how, since the inverted U on the butt looks as though it's placed in the same way as the very flattering Speed Tights, but something's off because i doubt all those young women have such large backsides. Here's the thing: Lulu's patterns were always magic. On the rack, Speed Tights don't look like they're all that special, but when you put them on, they transform your body. The new version don't. You can't play around with this stuff, because it's not easy to get it right.

It looks like zippered back pockets on running pants are starting to make a come back. Thank goodness.

What colors will they use for the winter? I am so bored of the white, black and muted offerings.

Also, new colour "pelt" in the speed up crops on the Australian site. Looks like a new (?) jacket shown with those crops too.

These colors are all just so uninspiring to me. Too many blues, too many dark shades. It makes all the new product run together in my mind because everything is in the same hues.

I wonder what the difference between the speed up and speed shorts is?

What's with the seaming on the butt? Lulu used to be so good at enhancing and flattering a woman's curves. Now the seams make the model look like she has a square blocky looking butt.

The speed up tights do look interesting! The amalfi blue gorgeous as does the LS swiftly in night tide. Would have preferred it without the black in it as the true colour looks gorgeous as well. New prints out in the UK too in energy bra, 7/8 and 1/2 wonder unders. As much as I want prints, it's abit messy for a full length tight. The crops work I think. The UK also got the enhearten tank, I'm liking the shadow blue in these. I am constantly lamenting the lost of the beautiful seaming detail of the pace rivals and inspires, especially the omega details that give the bum such a flattering fit and that make lulu unique. Perhaps it's just me:(

The Speed Up Short is the revised Speed Short and has an updated waistband with less bulk + sewn in a way that the drawcord will not get twisted. The back vents also have been updated so they don't pop out (similar to how the Run Times Short is)

@ anon 1:49 pm - thanks! Any idea on the updates to the Speed Tights/Crops?

Agree with everything you've said. I keep going they'll realize some of us no longer spend $ like we used to do.

I am not pleased with the butt of those tights. Does not enhance - quite the opposite. Why do they have to re-invent the wheel?

The longer speed shorts are sooo much cuter!
