Does anyone know the difference between the sun setter untight tight and the out to lounge untight tight?? Now they have boysenberry but otherwise they look the same to me. I'm not complaining, I was hoping to get more colors in this pant as they are really nice casual pants that I can get away with wearing to work and then head to the dog park with them and not worry about ruining them. (I obviously work at a really casual place).

If anyone is even thinking about these pants I have to say I love the out to lounge ones. I sized down and I think they are really flattering. I would have never given them a second thought the way they are styled in the lulu shoots though (looks like they are worn TTS) instead of sized down.

Nothing says spring/summer to me like dark, muted colors and prints. Oh, and more black and white. Yay!

@Reesie - lol, no kidding!

Am I the only lulu fan out there who is totally OVER the blah colors and design? I got a $200 gift card for Christmas and I haven't been able to find anything to spend it on except for two headbands in WMTM.

I used to love lulu and look forward to uploads each week, these days I almost forget to check.

Luluaddict if you wanted to make an Athleta blog, I'd follow!

I thimk the new untight tights are nulu

@Reesie and LLA totally! Weren't we supposed to getting spring/summer colors? These are great FALL colors, but that's not what I'm in the mood for right now... Especially with the flooding and snow (we had yesterday) it's depressing! :(

Agree about the color comment. Did they decide to create one color palette for all regions regardless of where they are in their seasons?

I got the new hotty hot in dark carbon at the store. It was nice nuetral color. I hoped to get them in other pretty color but it's the safe color to match with anything.

nothing for me...I'd like to see the prints in person.

The Boysenberry is a really pretty color, similar to black grape but different enough to warrant me buying it in the Sun Setter Tank. I LOVE the nulu fabric in a tank. Regular luon in the Power Y's feels too thick/heavy for me in spring/summer.

Why do they continue to put out new colors in the Lost In Pace Skirt??? Reviews are so bad. I was fine with the Circuit Breaker Skirt.

So is boysenberry the same as black swan?? I am getting confused. Also, LuluAddict: do you have a comparison of polar pink and prism pink?
I might get the Aligns. I was waiting for black swan in Canada but I haven't seen it online.

@3:03 PM TOTALLY! I really don't understand Lululemon's new look/design... it's so boring, like I have said again & again, nothing is unique! The new bras are horrid (I wish they would come out with a brand new strappy bra), & everything to me just screams amateur - design wise. Colors are ugly, dull, dark. Every upload looks the same. I've actually been buying a ton of lululemon lately, but it's all stuff mostly from 2015.

I'm looking for a Miss Misty release - do you expect a new one this year? I'm going on a trip in October and the Miss Misty is perfect for travel!

I got the new boysenberry aligns.

Also, slightly off-topic but does anyone know if "midnight navy" is the same as "deep indigo? The colours seem really similar.

@ Anita - I saw a comparison photo and they're not exactly the same but if you were reaching for them in the dim morning light you probably couldn't tell them apart. I think the boysenberry is a little more wine-colored but they are very very close. Unless you are a crazy purple fan, you don't need both.

@Unknown - I doubt we'll see Miss Mistys again soon, if ever.

@ toni - I agree about the amateur designs and I am not a fan of the new Invigorate and Train Times bra, or any of the new ones that have a lot of material on the back. I think the new Lean In bra is designed for looking good on your Instagram Feed rather than being functional for workouts. That being said, I do like the new Free to Be Serene.

@ anon 8:01 They are almost identical. I bought a really cute pair of shorts in deep indigo on MD (can't remember the name of them) then I bought the embodiment tank on MD in midnight name and they match perfectly. I actually ended up buying all 3 colours in that tank as it's surprisingly flattering on and super light. Fits like a slightly looser and shorter version of the original CRB but mega light.

I so miss the "old" Lulu with the fun prints that you had to buy as soon as the upload happened . Those days are LONG gone.

How many boxy shapeless tops, bottoms with no side pockets and too much damn mesh in black/white/grey is Lulu going to put out?! This has been the most dismal year for Lulu. I have bought virtually nothing in the past 12 months.

I agreed with everyone! Lulu Addict: Do you know the difference between poseidon and royal colors? It's a bit confusing for me. Thanks!

I am super peeved that the new black and white knit swiftly bumped the black speckled one off the site online. They are both called black and white, hence I needed to talk to GEC and then call stores to find it and explain that I did not want the new one that looked like knit stripes? UGH, so frustrating! How about using some different names? Lazy.

i must be boring because i like all the muted dark palette colors they've been releasing, but every time i go to buy something it's sold out. I'm guessing if that's the case, they've done their market research, and they're making them for a reason . I certainly can't get my hands on any size6's!! i, TOO, have been sitting on a $200 gift card, but haven't spent it because i'm always too late.

@ 4:00pm, Thanks! I didn't see that at first, I never bought any NULU so I guess I'll see what it's like.

@ 11:35am I don't think you're boring, I like the colors too! But I also always get the more "muted" colors because I can't afford to buy everything and that way I know everything I already own matches or I can even shift some pieces into my normal wardrobe. I do understand everyone's frustration though. Since they are on a purple kick, I wish they would bring back that lilac and orchid color that was so pretty from a few years ago.

anon@6:35 and 8:01pm

IMHO, Boysenberry is DIFFERENT from Black Swan. Black Swan is a bit deeper/richer. Boysenberry is ever so slightly redder and lighter, like a washed out version Black Swan???

Midnight Navy is DIFFERENT from Deep Indigo. Midnight navy is deeper and darker. Deep Indigo is slightly lighter and brighter...also slightly redder.

Hoping LLA might do a color comparison. I have all four colors in various pieces and really like each color.

@8:27 Anon - Thanks for responding. That clears things up for me. It's really confusing with all the new names for the old colours...

Slightly off topic again, but I came across this picture https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/9e/f0/7f/9ef07f9e0be5abbd603e035ab94951cf.jpg Is this a version of the LLL Hotspell leotard? The resemblance is really uncanny!

@ 11:35am I like these colors too, I think they are really pretty but I do think I would have prefered to have these colors more in the Fall/Winter (instead of ALL black and white all the time) and then have some more springy colors now. Since they are into purple so much now I wish they would bring back that lilac and orchid color they had a few years ago.

I do find things here and there still online or in the store, but it's nothing like the "good ol days." I buy the majority of my LULU purchases from eBAY now.

Those On The Fly shorts look so unflattering

Anonymous said...

To chime in with what everyone else is saying... uploads have been completely unexciting. I still hope every time, but like someone else said, every upload looks the same. Zero temptation 99% of the time.

I did buy a few choice things this year though and I am happy with all of them. I liked the dark olive color and got a few things in that: backpack, street to studio pants, and swiftly ls. I also got a pair of On The Fly Pants.

I have to say I do like the look of the royal swiftly, and the aero blue color. I might cave on the swiftly...

I love all shades of purple, from mauve purples to deep dark rich purples so I am quite happy with the addition of black current and dark forrest to my wardrobe. I bought the Trackers in black current which looks so good with dark forrest which I have in the s/s Swiftly and Love Tee Crew. I also bought the dark forrest Run Times which looks great with my black current s/s Swiftly. Both of these colours work well with a lot of colours I currently have in Swiftlies. I would love to see these colours in rulu and french terry fabric this fall but with fall colours in summer who knows what LLL has in store for fall colours.

in regards to old lulu, maybe I am stuck in the past, but I really miss the old stuff from around 2009, 2010. I still have a lot of it and it's what gets me motivated to hit my workouts.
maybe I am too nostalgic in regards to my workout clothes.
