Kindred and Thrive print Fast and Free Crops. This print looks too close to my Capri Iced Wave bottoms so I'll pass.

Thrive Viridian Energy Bra, luxtreme Wunder Unders, and CRB II.

Fast and Free Tight in Thrive Viridian print.

Ruby Red Free to Be Serene Bra. I read a try on review that said this bra had pretty low support for a D cup so I'll wait to try it at a store. I was hoping it would be more supportive than the Free to Be Tranquil bra but it doesn't sound like it will be.

More than Modal Hoodie and Crewneck. I'll wait to try this in the store. I've become a huge fan of Athleta's modal pieces which are not as casual and cuter than these.

New Tracker and Speed shorts in pretty Marvel.

Dark Olive Trackers.

New Two With One Singlet in a mystery (apparently see-through) material.

All Day Ease Bra

Blue Tied Revitalize Tight

Revitalize Tank

Revitalize Romper. WTF on the styling here.

New color bottom previewed here.

Magnum Go Lightly Shoulder Bag

Jet Stream Fast and Free Bra

Olive Reveal Crop

Black Currant City Adventure Backpack (Canada). I love this color and hope the Go Lightly Shoulder bag comes in it.

Nothing for me today, did you get anything?

Modal crewneck girl's legs are significantly darker than her upper body, or is it just me?
Not really feeling any of this. I have a $90 gift card too - probably holding on to it for a while :/

Nothing for me, but if that Black Current backpack comes to the US, I'll have to buy it. Love the color and I'm a sucker for a well made backpack.

Picked up a white Dash & Splash cap today for a last minute vacation. Otherwise, I'm saving my money for rum punches. :)

Maybe those new bottoms are black currant align pants.

Looks like there is new white tights on preview of the magnum go lightly bag photo as well.

Received my go lightly bag today and it's perfect! I've been waiting for another lulu bag i can use as a purse. The festival bag was just too small. It would be fantastic in black currant.

I like how they renamed the Go Lightly Backpack to the City Adventure Backpack to get away from the many negative reviews regarding tearing straps. They bags are literally the same, this one is just in a Black Currant colour. I have the Go Lightly Backpack and even the saying on the strap inside is the same.

Two with one singlet is made of the same fabric as Turn around tank. Very soft and super comfortable. I just bought Turn About tank , but will wait till Two with one hits wmtm

Nothing again - I haven't bought anything since early January. I find nulux way too slippery for any yoga or acroyoga that I do. I don't mind it in an energy bra though. The color palette is not flattering on my skin tone and I love color so this has been a great big dry patch.

Is it me or does there feel like a lot of renaming of color this season? So far - hydrangea/lullaby, lipstick/boomjuice and recently ruby red/bumbleberry. Not sure why so many renames? I'd be more likely to grab an item I missed before if it was named the same.

The Black Currant City Adventure Backpack is no longer on the website. I know I saw it a few hours ago. That was very quick! Maybe I should have scooped one up right away. Oh well!

I'll just play the devil's advocate here and say that I actually love that "wtf" styling shot! Maybe it's bc I'm a Chicagoan and used to funky, urban, layered neutrals.

Also, the Kindred print came in a full length fast and free and I bought them as soon as I saw them! That print is really sweet in person.

Since they discontinued and/or changed all the classics and totally changed the overall unique look of Lululemon it only stands to reason they are going to change previous colour names as they don't seem to want this company to have any ties to the past whether in style or colour names.

is it just me or is everything just so ho hum boring???? color design everything!!!! And all the mesh in tights, wish this trend would go away!!!! Its really ugly imho!

I love Athleta's modal pieces, too, so I will be sticking with Athleta for modal. I did purchase the kindred spirit fast & free tights, though. I love nulux.

@ anon 8:07 pm - It looks like they're changing their models now, too. The new batch look prettier, or more glamorous - something, than the old batch. Maybe it's just more makeup. They seem to be a little curvier up top, which has been long overdue imo.

@anon 8:15 pm - It is. I spent an hour and a half at Athleta this morning and bailed on going to lululemon when I was done.

@ anon 8:17 pm - I like the black version of Kindred that the UK got. I'll be waiting for that one to come here.

@ anon 8:17 pm - I have the Athleta CYA Crossback Sweatshirt and Studio Wrap and love both those pieces. I have my eye on the dark blue CYA Crossback that recently came out.

I don't hate some of these newer items but the patterned pieces are getting way too similar. They'd do well to reintroduce some stripes (or something different) into their colorways (but that's too hard).

Related, I've taken this dry spell as an opportunity to find some older pieces I've missed out on from years past. Got two good pairs of Run For Your Life crops at $50-ish apiece. eBay is the real MVP.

Wonder if new trackers are 2 or 4 way...any idea?

@ anon 7:23 am - 1000% agree about how so many of the prints are similar to each other and that they need some stripes. Totally hear you on using ebay and the FB groups to get older pieces. I recently bought a swiftly half zip off the boards since it looks like those won't be making a comeback, no matter how often they're used in the modeling photos.

Im so so bummed that I missed out on Jacquard Arrow inspires and now they are sold out:( I LOVE the print , but only want it in either Luxtreme or Nulux . It looks like they already moved to Fern print and there won't be more bottoms in Arrow other than Luon . Any insight that there's more more?

Sorry to hear that the backpack is the same as the Go Lightly. I don't like the idea of that bottom compartment. It seems like it would be awkward every time you set it down. One of my pet peeves with an LL Bean backpack I have is that the bottom isn't flat, so every time you set it down it flops over. Irritating. And no, it's not such a big deal, but for $128, I want something that functions a lot better than a $30 Eastpack.

Oh, well. Not gonna complain about money saved. Thanks for the tip, anon @4:17!

agree with 8:15 200% I am so tired of Lululemon I can't even go on the website anymore, I just come here to read and write comments.

I am in the process of getting rid of a lot of my lulu stuff. everywhere I go I see people wearing the horrible mesh stuff.
it's a bit much in my opinion.

LLA, I spoke with one of my good friends who runs a Lulu near me. She said she keeps getting flack from corporate because their numbers are down SIGNIFICANTLY from last year. She said no one wants to buy the colors they have been coming out with and then they just come back with ideas on how to push product. Its not HER fault! She can only sell what they ship to the store. I feel like this should be a DUH moment for them??

LuluAddict said...

@Brittany - I can imagine. The stock cratered today so hopefully that will wake them up.

@ anon 10:01 am - my store has the Arrow Jacquard - South Coast Plaza in California - call them.

@Brittany- It's not just your the store your friend in running. I spoken to a few people who work at the Lululemon's near me and they are experiencing the same thing. Walk into any store for yourself and you'll see the product is just not moving.

After reading some of the reports on the stock crating today they are blaming it mostly on color and the website. But honestly Lulu can make some of the recent styles in any color and I still wouldn't buy them. The style and quality is really lacking.....
