Kicking Asphalt Half Zip, Deep Rouge Energy Bra, and Radiant Rose Alpine White Wunder Under Half Tight. Wow, the proportions on these pieces make this poor women look like she is 4' tall. Moreover, note the crops creeping up into her kneepit and no zipper garage on the Half Zip. It all screams of cost cutting.  I'd love to know exactly how many more warehouses of spacer fabric lululemon has stored up - I'm picturing an Indiana Jones endless one right now - because I'm over this fabric. It's only okay and not worth so many pieces being released in it. I really hope sales are tanking so the company has a reason to oust Holman soon. He's all but killed the brand.

lululemon everyday-getaway-jacket speed-tight
Everyday Getaway Jacket, Midnight Navy Swiftly Tank, and Speed Tights. Why do you ever have need of a short rain jacket? As for the jacket being made of "waterproof" Glyde - hahahahahahahahohohohohohoho. I wore my "waterproof" Rain for Daze, made of the same material, in a torrential downpour to walk my pain-in-the-rear dog last week and the back of my left arm got wet. Don't get me wrong, the Rain for Daze is a cute jacket for a sprinkle but I'm not falling for lululemon's version of "waterproof" ever again, particularly at a $198 waterproof price point

lululemon polar-pink speed-tight
Polar Pink Energy Bra and Heathered Black Inspire Tights. I might have to order this bra.

lululemon ugly-vest

Poor guy, this vest is hideous. Even if I got one of those $11 outlet deals on it (and be on the look out because it'll be there soon), I don't think I'd get one. I take some comfort that the men's line is as craptastic as ours.

Bahahaha! You are killing it today! I agree with you 100%.

Lol, I'm so cranky today. I'm taking it out on the ugly clothes.

I bought the Radiant Rose, I love black and white, I am 5.3" and they hit me 3-4 inches below my knee. I also bought a while back, on MD, the grey spacer jacket, its warm and roomy and boxy. You dont need more than one piece of spacer fabric stuff, the rest of the new spacer product looks like it is made out of wetsuit (SCUBA) fabric, UGLY. The half half zip looks just stupid, and the short rainjacket, seriously, its perfect if you dont mind your crotch/belly getting wet!!!!

wow that mens vest would not even looks in the pitch black dark! who ever thought that was a good idea. smh

Oh, don't stop. There's more to comment on, like those hideous pants he's wearing.

You are on a roll! So true though. What a mess!

@Rise and Shine - lol, I know. Total dad pants. The whole outfit adds weight to the guy.

Sadly, not just regular dad pants, but dumpy dad pants...

Lol, I know.

Hey, LLA, would you mind taking a peek at the BST membership requests? Mine says pending, but somehow I think it got lost. It's been pending for a few weeks, I think. Initials LO.

Let me know if I should cancel and resubmit. Thanks!

so bummed that the rain jacket wasn't cuter. i'm barely 5'2" and a 4/6 and the 4 was GIANT on me. super wide and short, it barely came to my hip bones. the gals at the store were all, "oh, but you can layer with it!" and i can't see how, because if i wore a cardigan or anything, it would be hanging out the bottom. shame. that green is CUTE.

The ladies are beautiful, but these clothes and designs are getting really hideous. Unrecognizable from the Lulu we used to know. Sigh*

What were they thinking when they designed that rain jacket? It's a complete disaster. Cya at the outlets.

Maybe Nike sent Holman over to lululemon to kill off the company with these atrocious designs.

@Rise and Shine - cancel and re-request. I have to approve all comments so you can comment in with your full name so I alone can see it and then I'll delete it without publishing it.

I thought the same thing-- did some of the other big brands send people over to Lulu to ruin everything? It sounds crazy to say, but the more I look at the current offering/price hikes, the more I think it could be true.

So tired of the so many items in this same fabrics, same colors already. They also keep putting out stuff in that seriously light luon or whatever it's called (the one that looks like linen). A few pieces would have been great, but it JUST. KEEPS. COMING.

The cropped top and bomber jacket styles are on trend for 2017 and LLL has followed right along. It used to be that LLL didn't follow trends but actually was a leader in unique designs and colours. The Everyday Getaway Jacket looks like they combined the cropped trend in the front of the jacket with a regular length in back. However, for it being a rain jacket who wants their crotch getting wet or the top they are wearing underneath to get wet? Such a ill conceived design for what they are marketing it for. It just isin't the cropped front that bothers me about this jacket it's also the loose and uncomfortable neckline, no thumbholes or any other appropriate technical design features for a rain jacket to justify the $198. price tag. I am glad for you LLA that you like your Rain For Daze jacket but I didn't like the fit of that jacket and thought it was an attempt at recreating a cheaper version of the Hustle Jacket.

I sincerely hope the Lulu powers that be are still reading the comments on your blog and Lululmum's blog and are seeing how unhappy we are with the products being released. But I guess if not, c'est la vie! My money will stay in my bank account instead. I can't believe each week is getting worse, somebody has to put a stop to this madness!

Has anyone seen the dazzle feather print marked down in stores?

The guy stole my granny's vest!

Wow, I just don't get it!! You are right on LLA, I even find myself not looking forward to the weekly uploads and having to be reminded by Lulumum's alert through my email. This Holman guy needs to be removed and we thought it was bad when the previous designer was there (just before Holman took over the women's line) I simply don't understand, it's like they decided to overstock their outlets instead of concentrating on great designs and fabrics. And with the nearly 20% price hikes across the whole line all I can say is BOO!
Everything is super boxy barely flattering to the female figure and way over priced as they've cheapened many aspects like zippers going to plastic instead of metal and lack of zipper garages :(
Please please please LULULEMON review the styles and details that put you on the map and get back there fast!!!

I have two Hustle Jackets and really love them. One is bright pink and the other is polka dot. Can you imagine the current designers doing anything like that??

I wish the powers that be would look at that jacket and understand that there are still a lot of former Lulu customers who would return if they designed items like that again. We don't want man-inspired box dreariness. Feminine, detailed clothes, please. Please!

Gosh can they just please fire all the lulu designers and anyone and everyone who makes any of those choices. So sad I just look at this stuff and laugh. Nothing they make anymore is worth $$. I barely even glance at the new uploads anymore.

This week I got super lucky at a local resale shop in the Seattle area. A woman dropped off a huge load of excellent condition original crb's, wu's and special edition items from years before! I bought 4 crbs, 4 wu's, and reversible boogie shorts a total of 9 itemss for under $140. She was definitely a lulu addict or just broke up with lulu lol. The quality and colors of this older stuff blow this current crap out of the water.

Anyways, happy friday ya'll

@lulubell

I personally am apt to believe that Nike couldn't wait to get rid of Holman because he was ruining their brand. When he left, they promptly hired someone who knew what the heck they were doing. I walked into a Nike store the other day and I ended up with 4 things in my hand within 5 minutes. Beautiful colors and fabrics, feminine designed tops (not boxy). Definitely not the old icky Nike I remember - which was the Nike under Holman I believe. Lol!

@Rise and Shine - can you try cancelling and re-requesting again? I scrolled down pretty far and still couldn't find you.

Ok so I do have to say that I LOVVVE the align pants, those are amazing but like it's been said, more colors would be great. I also really like the define jackets. I did order the everyday getaway jacket in the chrome color because I thought the color was soooo cute and I can actually totally see how I would layer with it (per the model photos, I have to agree the ones on actual people are super unflattering!) Maybe it will work with my build/proportions. If so I'll take pics and email them to you, otherwise it'll be making its way to returns!
