I assume this is our spring upload. Overall, the palette feels more fall-like than spring. It's too bad there isn't a lively print incorporating these colors and the brighter oranges to pair with all these solid pieces. Athleta has a lot of navy pieces but it's interspersed with brighter colors so feels more spring like.

Deep Rouge Define could be nice for Fall, but I'm not dying for it. I guess because Fall is 9 months away.

More black and white prints???????? I can't stand it. Can we call Lulu HQ and just scream in Lee Holman's ear? Something about the relentless black and white is like interacting with someone who HAS THEIR CAPS LOCK BUTTON STUCK. AAAAH! CAN'T STOP. MUST MAKE MORE BLACK AND WHITE PRINTS. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

Deep Rouge looks promising, but I'd need to see it in person. I remember being very surprised by Rosewood, because IRL it didn't look anything like it had on my laptop.

Every week I am still shocked at the lack of creativity with lulu's pieces. I used to order something pretty much every week. It's been months since I've felt the urge to purchase anything. It really seems like the designs are so boxy and boring, they lack any sort of femininity. I can't imagine that they're sales aren't reflecting this.

I like the poseidon color but apart from that everything continues to be too similar and blah in color and style. Hard to tell things apart, all largely unmemorable.

@Llorentzen - I think the sales must be. The people who angel at the outlets - pick up deals for other people - buy in such bulk that they are getting special deals, like an additional 15-25% off the deals of the day which are often pretty aggressive. I've seen people get $9 Rack Pack bras, $11 crops. $9 swiftlys. The outlet deals are so good that it's affecting the re-sale groups. I can't imagine the outlets giving extra deals if they weren't glad (desperate?) to unload the merchandise.

@ anon 9:17am - I was thinking it's too bad they don't offer a print something like last year's Pop Cut Fatigue, which was pretty muted overall except for splashes of Boom Juice and White, to tie these dark colors together but liven things up with splashes of Filtered Orange or Polar Pink. The other colors in Pop Cut were navy, black, and fatigue but it was a fun, showy print with movement that you could still pair with muted tops.

@luluaddict I read your 12:37pm post and it got me thinking... I've been searching for a recently WMTMed crop top to no avail. at this point I don't mind spending extra for an angel's reward. I just sent a facebook request to your buy/sell group but my previous request was denied I guess because I'm not a prolific facebook user. Can you suggest any other LLL angel buy/sell groups?? thx

@ anon 12:53 pm - Do you know my real name? I am an admin on the lulu BST group. Message me and I'll check into why you were denied. If your profile is too locked down it often gets denied. The big angeling group is called Lululand. There's also another one called Lululemon Store Finds where people pass on deals they spot on the markdown racks and then you can call and have sent to you.

I tried to get into BST twice, but to no avail. I realized I had to join another FB group first, so that was probably the issue the first time, but not sure about the latest attempt. I wasn't denied, I don't think, I just never heard anything. If you could take a look, I'd really appreciate it, LLA.

LLA, I find this bulk outlet discounts very confusing. This is a practice I would expect when I go shopping in a market while vacationing. Not when I buy in-store products from an established retailer.
I mean, what are the rules? are there any rules? like, buy 10 Swiftlies and get $10 off?? who decide it? do you just bargain with the store manager?
I am curious what other thing about Lululemon allowing this practice.

The rouge is absolutely gorgeous. It is a fall color, but still gorgeous. The only thing I'm getting this week is the navy swiftly LS. I hate the price tag, but I know this color is one I will wear a lot, so I can justify it.

I agree, the black and white stuff has to stop. And the boxy items. I love my curves, I don't want to hide them under a tent.

Deep Rouge (too yellow casted) and Dark Royal (why out out with Poseidon...too similar?) are not strong colors imho. I predict limited sales and big markdowns. Certainly not transitional or spring. Easy pass for me.

I've bought a few lulu things lately that I'm happy with so I'll just wait and see what comes down the pike. It's great for my wallet.

@ LLA, I bought the pop cut speeds on WMTM last week. (Canadian side) I wasn't sure about them online but am so pleased with the print in person. I like that they go with many of my CRBs. ( especially since I don't like and will never buy the II's....

The US didn't get the deep rouge align pants :( I'm obsessed with these as they are the only pants I can stand buying from Lulu. The U.K. Also has a pretty tofino teal align crop which would be gorgeous for spring. Has anyone tried those mail forwarding sites that allow you to register a U.K. Address and have items purchased from U.K. Sites forwarded to the US. If so which ones? Are they reliable? Thanks!

Do you even pay attention to lululemon share value or earnings reports? This is a publicly traded company, you can check in for yourself. If you haven't been paying attention, the company's Q3 earnings exceeded expectations and guidance was raised for Q4. Compare this to Under Armour, whose stock price decreased 25% the day they released their Q4 earnings. Say what you will about Lee Holman and the new artistic direction; the numbers speak for themselves.

@ anon 9:20 am - I do. They admitted traffic was down in the stores. However, significantly raising prices, being more efficient at getting product into the customer's hands at higher prices (i.e., the app and website will tell which stores have the item you are looking for so you can call yourself instead of giving up/sending WMTM items directly from the stores when the website runs out), opening new stores, etc. contributed to the higher revenue. I'm sure same store sales numbers tell a different picture but they never detail those. Many of the people in groups and on here, who used to spend several hundred dollars on lululemon every week have drastically curtailed their spending due to a lack of compelling product. I'm sure that will show up eventually in the numbers.
