Fleecing Cold Pullover, Fast and Free Tights, and More

Circuit Breaker Bra and Iced Wave Capri Outrun Crops

It's Fleecing Cold Pullover pics.

Fresh Tracks Half Zip and Fairisle Fast and Free Tights. I tried both of these on Wednesday. The Half Zip is much thinner than last year's tech fleece offerings. In fact, it seemed more like a thick brushed luxtreme than a typical lululemon tech fleece top. However, if you find lululemon's tech fleece offerings too warm then you should check out the Fresh Tracks. It's nice pullover - it fits TTS with classic styling and good length. I'd consider getting one on steep markdown.

Re: the Fast and Free Tights - I was surprised by how thick the Nulux in the Fairisle Fast and Free tights felt and looked. It's decently opaque and didn't fade with stretching. I don't care for the pocket situation of the Fast and Frees, at all. I cannot repeat enough how much I hate the external pockets that are sewed onto the outside of the waistband. I also hate the unfinished hem at the ankle. They are very comfy tights but I'm not paying a premium for a pocket situation that isn't ideal. I'd consider getting them for gym workouts on a big markdown.

Iridescent Featherlight Tight. Shown with the Featherlight Bra. I tried this print on in the Wunder Unders. The material seemed thinner than the Fairisle print and faded a bit. I didn't care for the pattern.

Fresh Tracks Half Zip and All the Right Places Pant

Sweatr print Fast and Free Tight, Energy Bra, and Hill and Valley Mock Turtleneck. I tried these bottoms on, too. The material was decently opaque but faded a little when stretched.

Not much difference in appearance from the men's pullovers and the women's pullovers in the photos above - they honestly just look like cheap generic unisex pullovers to me. They are way overpriced for what they are I might add, I guess they expect us to pay high price for the LLL logo.

ITA about the thinness of the tech fleece. I tried both tech fleece tights offerings and thought they paled in comparison to prior years. Very thin, not warm. I did order the Fresh Tracks half zip and felt the same way, though I decided to keep it with reservations. In addition to its relative thinness, I also didn't like the neckline. It was larger than the usual Lulu neck and puckered a bit - seemed to be folded under and the interior folded seam wasn't totally tacked down. Pretty shoddy but I kept it anyway because I did like the fit otherwise.

Has anyone tried the Fleece Please Pullover? I was tempted by this one in white, but one reviewer so far is indicating the fit is off and it runs very small. I was surprised by that as it looks looser fitting on the model, but you never can tell.

The Fleecing Cold Pullover in the light grey looks so much like a generic, unisex speckled grey fleece pullover I was given when I first started teaching. It had the school's logo on it, and it was pretty shapeless. We were required to wear them when we went to inservice days with other schools. I immediately donated it when I moved schools. I could never ever, ever buy that pullover, let alone wear it.

i bought the It's Fleecing Cold Pullover and the shorter jacket both in light grey. I've owned a few of this style from Patagonia in the past. Patagonias ones were more expensive. I ordered the ones from Lululemon just because I needed new ones and was sick of buying Patagonia Jackets. I really like the Lululemon ones. They are both very warm. I live in Old Greenwich, CT near the sound and I run along the water area in the morning and at night after work. The pullover kept me pretty warm. I'm pretty happy with my purchases. i stayed true to size.

I think they look nice....saw them in the store and didn't try it on though. I have the fleece Moto jacket from a few years ago and wear it almost daily. The jacket appeals to me the most but I am really not in the market for one. I touched the tech fleece items this year and felt they were very thin as well. Especially on the lower (calf) portion of the tight. It didn't even feel
Like brushed luxtreme to me. Happy sad. I love/loved lulu but every dog has its day 😪

OT...wondering if anyone has had issues with Apple Pay. I purchased something on Apple Pay and got a notification from Amx that I had a charge go through from lulu. A few days later I still hadn't revived my package so I logged in to my account and there was no record of my order. I contacted GEC and they could not find any evidence of an order placed by me although my AmX had been charged. I had to take it up with AmX. I am a little miffed how that happened.

Anon7:48pm I bought the Fresh Tracks 1/2 zip too and thought the fabric was much thinner than other tech fleece tops I have. I don't care for the neck as well. It's more of a loose mock neck which is not what I look for in a tech fleece for cold weather wear. What really bothers me though is the horizontal puckering I get at the bottom of the zipper. When I looked inside the top to see how the zipper was finished I saw that there is a long tab at the bottom of the zipper that causes the puckering. I looked at the zipper of my Face The Frost and saw that the bottom of the zipper has a tab much shorter than the Fresh Tracks and does not cause puckering. I am going to take it in to my store and see if they can get it fixed.

I tried the Fleece please pullover and ordered in a size 8 judging that I would use it for lounge wear. I may have preferred the 10 but I'm happy with the fit/shape of the 8. I normally wear a size 4/6 in the Define Jackets and other tops and 4s in High Times pants. I'm 5'7" 140lbs for reference.

I was in the store today looking at the three new Fleecing Cold styles. As LLA commented, they are 100% polyester fleece, not cotton fleece as the website says. They look like Patagonia's Better Sweater styles and I was curious as to what they looked like in person. In person, they also look like Patagonia's Better Sweater material. That fabric came out years ago. I can't imagine what Lulu was thinking. These are not Tech Fleece at all imho. The styling is dreadful. If you like the fabric, I think Patagonia has cleaner styling.

3 Q results come out this week. They can't be good. 4 Q will be even worse. Lulu is simply way off track in my eyes. Certainly for what I'm looking for. All good things come to an end. :(

I tried on the fleece please pullover in white. I'm both my smaller size 4 and TTS 6. I liked the look of the criss cross hoodie and the fleece inside was very warm. The 4 was tight in the neck but still worked as did the 6. They may run slightly smaller which may be a problem with bustier girls but not for me. What I didn't like is the kangaroo pockets in the front bulked out, ( no zippers to keep them down and it bulked even in the size 4) I also didn't like the outer fabric of the pullover. On the website photos it looks clean and smooth but in person it is not. Almost pilled looking, which made it look cheap and like it had been through many washings. That stopped me right there from buying it. The outer fabric of the pullover is not like previous years offerings. Which is too bad as I would have picked it up otherwise.

The seam on the model's right leg in the photo of the Sweatr print Fast and Free Tight is so skewed, it's painful for me to look at!

Fish scales. Mould. Tarred and feathered. Fly larvae. Trouts in the water. (Words taken from latest comments.) What else can my legs resemble in LLL tights?

Love my Patagonia fleece! Wea it everyday. Just ordered a Better Sweater too!

OT I'm totally disappointed with cold weather running tights. I've tried Patagonia borderless (soft but too loose and I suspect see through and not wind proof also the tigh pockets don't fit a phone which renders them pointless), Athleta polar tech (thicker than the Patagonia but thes two styles have zero compression and are more like a loose track pant than a tight), UA (not warm) and brushed speeds (love the fabric but they just don't stay put I end up spending the whole run adjusting them). All a disappointment!

This is gross. I actually feel a nauseated migraine coming on from looking at these pieces. The Fleecing Cold pullover reminds me of something you'd find on the clearance rack at Bootlegger in late winter and regret buying. Everything is so drab and boring and far too expensive. I haven't bought anything in over a year, and probably won't again. I miss the old, pretty, fun lulu. =/
