Thanks to Ms. K. for the photos of new items in her store. New In a Cinch Pack spotted in Canada. This is kind of cute.
New Sweat and Savasana Sweater. I like this but it's rather pricey and I find merino itchy.
New Tie It Up Singlet in Alberta Lake.
Capri Iced Wave luxtreme Wunder Unders. I might order these if they are uploaded. Ms. K. says they're more blue than green.
The detail on the new Deep Breath Crops.

Seriously LLL? $158 for a boxy sloppy looking turtleneck? Where are all the cute styles and flattering shapes. I used to shell out $50 for tanks and shorts and $80-100 for pants left right and centre but with the prices jumping and style suffering I definitely haven't been making my usual weekly orders in a long time. Glad I have a solid collection of all my beloved pieces
That Cinch pack is terrible. I buy these types of packs ffor my kids and would not spent over $25 on a Lululemon one. There is really nothing to it.
...$68 for the same nylon sack sold by literally every major athletic brand? Hahahaha. Good one, Lulu.
The rest of this stuff is unremarkable. If I want a sweater, much better quality can be found elsewhere for the same price. All the patterns and "new" items are indistinguishable from the other items released in the last few months. I have no clue which items LLL now considers 'staples,' either, and I'm not really willing to take a chance on these one-off products releases or lines. I would be perfectly willing to throw money at LLL weekly if the original CRB, Speed tights (without mesh, omg), Scuba II, and LS Swiftlies were consistently available/released in new colors. It's too impossible to know when things will drop, or if they will ever come out at all.
I also feel like they've crossed over too heavily into "athleisure" at the expense of clothes that actually work for being active. Some of the stuff is cute, but too trendy or revealing to be practical or to reach for more than one time. Most of it is just ugly, ill-fitting, poorly made, and overpriced.
Saw the sweater in the store today and considered trying it on, but then realized that if I saw the same thing in Ann Taylor (or somewhere) for more than $59, I'd laugh. I could easily imagine a sweater like that in a department store like Macy's or Lord and Taylor and I would never dream of paying so much. I didn't bother to try it on.
Lulu needs to hire back their old designers. Things are getting desperate. Agree with you, anon @ 11:35, we need feminine, flattering clothes with a sense of fun to them.
When I left the Lulu store I went with my daughter to Ivivva where she bought a bright yellow Pace Setter skirt (I think in Ivivvaland they're called Set the Pace?), with a neon peach tank to pair it with for tennis. Looking around the store, almost everything was colorful and happy. There were ruffles, there were extra touches (inside the back zip pocket on her skirt was a name tag), and just generally everything that Lulu used to be. I really, really hope they don't let the a-hole who's ruing Lulu loose on Ivivva.
Love the look of the turtle neck. But will wait for MD price.
I think it is a bit pricey but is definitely not "boxy and sloppy looking" on!
Same here anon 11:35AM.
Love the in a cinch! Those are great for cons and such. A bit steep on the price but I'll probably grab one.
I love the look of the turtleneck. I hope that it is a nice long length. It is the price that is a bit hard to take! All my merino wool from lulu has washed and worn quite well.
It's true that in the Cinch bag is similar to what every other sport retailer carries. Most of the time it's a throw in freebie product. Not cool.
I was thinking the same! I get my kids those cheap string packs for soccer for like $10!!
The only thing worth buying from lulu at the moment is their yoga mats and their high impact bras, everything else is garbage.
