Upload!

Darkest Magenta Define. So tempting but I just took the tags off my Jet Set Blue Define this morning and don't need another one. Plus, I have a Potion Purple Define and can't really justify another purple Define.

Darkest Magenta Energy Bra. This is very tempting, too. I was kind of hoping for a Jet Set Blue Energy Bra or more colors in the Free to Be Tranquil bra.

The Chilled Grape Essential Tank finally got uploaded to North America.

Jet Set Blue Essential Tank. I am tempted by this but it looks close to the Tofino Teal Hotwave tank I bought over the summer.

Jet Set Blue As You Like Bra

Boom Bloom Beach Blanket Blue Energy Bra (CAN)

Cotton Love Racerback (CAN). This looks comfy but I'd want it in a COLOR.

Scatter Star Circuit Breaker Bra

Shocking Blue Wild And Free Tank. I'm a fan of luxtreme tanks so I ordered this in the blue and black.

Twee Runner Both Ways Bra

Ready to Rulu Turtleneck in Black and Spray Jacquard. I might have gotten this if it came in a color. I already own a black rulu turtleneck.

Beach Blanket Blue and Fall Net Sculpt Tanks

Pricey ($118/$128 CAD) Wild and Free Tights in Fall Net and Darkest Magenta. I can't say I'm a fan of mesh thigh pockets. They don't seem like they'd be that robust, or, I guess they could be but I don't feel like babying a pocket.

Moonlit Magenta Free to Be Bra

Jet Set Blue Wunder Under Crops and Pant

Gator Green Free to Be Wild bra

High Times in Toxic Fall Net

Military Green Align Pant

All Day Tote Mini

Darkest Magenta Tracker Short

Military Green Jet Pant

Brushed luxtreme Inspire Tight in Darkest Magenta

Darkest Magenta Flow and Go Tight

Speed Tight in Darkest Magenta. I'm hoping these are solid luxtreme but it's very hard to tell from the photos. Exactly when are we going to see Speed Tights or other full length run tights without mesh? It's mid-October now and some parts of Canada already have snow.

Space Dye Camo Jet Set Blue Top Knot Toque. I'm loving all the Jet Set Blue things.

Ooh, nearly missed this - a $118 quilted Vinaysa on the Canadian side. It's not even down. Outrageous. At least the jacket it's modeled with is cute.

And now for the parade of fug...

Cotton fleece Yes Fleece Pullover in Military Green

City Bound Dress. Effing terrible. Who green lighted all the products being made in Spacer fabric? Spacer is stiff and adds bulk. Don't believe all the positive reviews, lulu is deleting the negative ones these days. It's terrible.

All Time Sweatpant. Not sure why I'd want sweatpants that expose my ankles.

City Bound Hoodie in Indigo.

Stretch French Terry All Time Tank.

All Time Tee

Did you get anything today? Just the tanks for me today.

Ordered the darkest magenta aligns, the rulu pullover from last week and the sun something long Sleeve in shocking blue. Luluaddict - do you take your CRB size in the define jacket? Love the jet set blue one. Thanks!

Nothing for me. Looks like Canada did not get that pretty coloured top knot toque. Has anyone tried the top knot or Mantra toques?

I'm tempted to pick up a few of the turtlenecks for work, if ppl think they are soft/comfy. There aren't any online reviews yet. Any word, from those who might have seen them in stores?

I got the HT.... nothing else.

@Amy - the rulu in the other Ready for Rulu pieces was nicely soft.

@ Jessica - most people take their tank size in the Define or size up since it runs snug. You don't want it to be too big, though, otherwise it looks terrible. It should be form fitting.

I bought the black rulu turtleneck, chilled grape essentials tank, and the military green aligns. I know I'll keep the essential tank (one of my favorites!), but the other two are up-in-the-air. Haven't seen military green in-person yet, and so far I've been unimpressed with this year's version of "rulu."

Good thing there is BST and AD....much better pieces there than any of the above

No upload in the UK today. So sad! I am very tempted by the mini All Day tote.

Off topic...anyone have fit review of the full zip split hoodie on wmtm? TIA

Very little of this appeals to me. Just the FTB moonlight magenta bra and the FTBW in gator green. Neither of these is pressing for me now, if ever. I am really irritated by all the price increase including for these bras. I'm happy to wait it out for wmtm (although wmtm is a joke) or Boxing Day or inevitable online warehouse sale. Jet set blue is also pretty but I don't like the items. There are too many seams on that one bra. I like the quilted vinyasa but the the $118 is laughable and so obnoxious. I guess since they are not making very many now their tactic is to more than double the price for a special quilted one.

wth with the mesh pockets? This company is insane with the mesh. Seriously LLL get a clue. Why would anyone want stupid mesh pockets that are not durable or secure and show the stuff you are carrying? So neat and classy!

Looks like they are coming out with an iteration of the Rest Less Pullover, as seen in the picture of the Brushed luxtreme Inspire Tight in Darkest Magenta. RL pullovers of past didn't have a waistband like that, however. I have 2 of the previous versions, thankfully. I'm sure the price for the new ones will be ridic.

That spacer material needs to die

nothing for me...I like the Insculpt Jacket...wish it had a hood. I need to see in person to see how the fit is. I prefer things slightly fitted or at least flattering to the body. At least this has some length to it. I like the Insculpt fabric. I just think you have to be very careful what silohuette you put it in. The dress is abominable!

LOVE that you said "and now for the fug"... lol, I was dying with laughter. I'm with you on that dress, yeesh, who in the world would that look good on?

OT: LLA I followed you turtleneck link and scrolled down to read the comments from 2012 upload. It seems people were still bitching back then that everything is fug and there's nothing to spend money on. I thought everybody was happy back then. I was buying lulu, but didn't know about your blog.
As far as this upload I'm debating if I should get Essential tank in Jet set. I did get City bound hoodie last week( like it a lot , but haven't worn yet), but now eyeing Insculpt jacket that was actually uploaded a few days ago . It's more form fitting and longer than hoodie . And it does come in a size 2 so I could size down. I purchased Insculpt vest few weeks ago and although liked the idea had to return due to it being too boxy. But the vest only came in 4-10 sizes. So I might order Insculpt jacket.
I also bought Rush hour jacket and already wore it once. It's very flattering and super soft. Still debating if I should return Ready to rulu hoodie and just wait for wmtm . $118 seems to be a little steep.

Ditto everyone's comments on the mesh pockets. Dumbest thing ever

OMG I tried on that city bound dress on the weekend at a store in Toronto. It was awful. Size 2 was HUGE on me (I'm 5ft2, 105pds). The neck/chest was the issue - it needed half of the fabric to make it sit properly on me. The pockets so weird not practical at all.

My wallet has been safe recently esp. that stuff either doesn't come in a 2 or the tops that too, are too big.

i would like to buy the mini tote, but the reviews are SO BAD. can't decide what to do...

@ anon 6:22 pm - I know, we've been bitching for a long time. Back then Day was making fabrics thinner and thinner and quality was really going to shit. The trend towards featuring a lot of Lab designs started then, too.

The Essential tank is very popular. My seriously light luon tanks are some of my favorite ones to work out in.

@ anon 8:01 pm - I wouldn't get it, not at full price anyway. I like their nylon bags a lot but the one that I bought that had a more pleather-like fabric chipped away. There are a number of photos showing the same thing happening on this bag so don't get it.

I got the sweatpants they are simple and streamlined and soft without ankle cuffs great for those of us that have short legs!

it is so disappointing and frustrating when something doesn't come in a size 2 and that's the size you need and they don't have it *OR* it does come in a size 2 but it's made too big and you can't size down... :( A lot of the new Rulu tops look bigger than previous Rulu tops, haven't tried any on yet but fear they will be too big in my usual size 2 for Rulu tops.

I remember on upload day if you wanted something you would have to stalk the website and pounce as soon as it uploaded.. now you can just wait for your items on wmtm :,) so sad lulu so sad.

I have the Split Hoodie - see this link: http://www.luluaddict.com/2016/08/split-hoodie-photos-plus-fit-comments.html

It's super soft and fits big.

I have the jet set blue As You Like bra in my cart. I think I'll buy it but maybe in store.

I haven't seen the jet set blue color in person yet but we sell LLL at the pro shop at my work and we got a 3mm mat in a gorgeous new blue randomly delivered by itself last week. I snatched it up with my discount. The 3mm lulu mats are the only mats I use and I do hot yoga every day so I tend to wear them out pretty quickly.

Spacer fabric and all that mesh should go in the garbage pronto.

The expression of the model wearing the City Bound Dress says it all. Hilarious!

Am considering the Moonlight Magenta FTB bra (love that color) and the Wild and Free tank in Shocking Blue. I would snap it up if it came in Moonlight Magenta...

The jacket modeled with the Quilted Vinyasa is super cute! I love the color - but sadly it will probably be $700 or something equally ridiculous the way the prices have been lately.....

I wish they'd put out some more items in darkest magenta- that's a really nice color. I almost bought the define and the brushed inspires just because there is FINALLY a pretty color available- how sad is that? Two items I don't even need. :( On the other hand, I pretty desperately need some full length running tights WITHOUT MESH for running in the cold (it's 30 degrees in the morning here) and I can't seem to find a pair.
LLA do you think we'll see any nice down pullovers or thicker running jackets this fall? I thought that last year they were all available in october but maybe I'm mistaken.

I got the Align IIs in military green, but I was waiting for those! Also got the Soulful Crop in heathered black (after LOVING the dusty mauve) and Beat the Heat bra in Pipe Dream blue (wmtm, finally the size and color I wanted!)... Kind of a lot for a bad upload!

dogrunner said...

I am liking the magenta also and am interested in the speeds or inspires. I am hesitant on he aligns because of the bad reviews. I have one pair of black and they are fine. Some of the colors are so revealing when I see them on people at my gym it's obscene. May as well be naked. I blew the speed picture up and it doesn't look like there is mesh. Besides being ugly it's a deal breaker for Minnesota fall/winter running for me. Where the heck have all the supportive bras gone? Everything is ridiculously strappy and light support. I appreciate it for you yogis but it doesn't seem there have been nearly as many new colors for higher impact. Bummed they are making the flow y online only.

I'm with you, dogrunner - waiting for magenta in brushed speeds that ought to be mesh-free, but we will see. I don't really get the idea of a brushed 7/8 tight, but maybe the shorties like them.

I'm also hoping that they bring back the Lift and Separate bra that was very supportive. I have three of them, so I'm ok for now, but the way they're altering classic items - or getting rid of them altogether - I'm anxious about some of the staples I've come to depend on.
