Luxtreme Cool Racerback Splatter, $68.  Available in 4-12. The reflective Splatter collection was uploaded to the website today. This is the most affordable piece of the collection and was tempting to me until I remembered I don't run at night. :) It's highly annoying to me that this was styled with the reflective All Sport Bra underneath it since it makes it tough to tell the reflective details on the tank without a little study.

Could you add a link? I can't see it on the site. Thanks!

Lulu is out of their minds.

@ anon 2:16 pm - you have to search for "splatter". But I'll update with links.

It just screams "rave party".

Is that going to be it this week, or more tomorrow?

And yet Athletas winter catalogue came in the mail today and I could buy one of each of their collections pieces for the price of Lulus tights...

Those prices are gross. Lulu you're drunk.

@Aliswanson - No, there should be a regular upload tomorrow

Ha! NO thanks. Got my splatter run backpack and that extra $10 was hard to chew off. These prices are insane. Especially for a bra which is going to be covered up anyway.

I would buy those tights for $148. I think that's my maximum price point. As it is, I no longer run at night as much as I used to. If I did, I'd stick with Athleta's reflective tights at $98.

I have a pair of speed shorts from a few years ago that the entire front is reflective with a reflective band on the back. I got them for $29 on the sale rack in the store.

Is this a joke?

Tights up to an 8 only? Lame. Not that I really wanted them at that price anyway.

Cool. Thanks.

this has been the goal...... and they have achieved it! Lulu is no more (the old one chip started) just like current and elliot sold and its mostly overpriced crap (odd nice piece here and there just like lulu); and now the pair have a new line "the great" and their stuff is super (not all) but its super super expensive! My point is that when a company sells out and then gets watered down cheapened etc. this happens over and over again..... the old great lululemon is gone!!!!!!

I agree with you about the CRB -- so hard to tell what it looks like, since the bra makes it look wider and is in all web shots. Wonder if the reflective spatter will chafe in the underarm section.

I leave this site for a few weeks, only to return. And it's like I never left. The same old styles & color patterns. Forever 2003. Geez.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. I'm a runner, I often run in the dark. I have a Nathan vest I pop over whatever I am wearing, and I'm super visible. Yeah, it's not cute, but it's DARK. No one cares what I am wearing- they can't see me anyway, with the exception of a giant lit up triangle from my vest. ;)
In addition, if you want to shine like a disco ball, go check out Athleta. They have like $90 tights (granted, not as much reflectivity, but still plenty to be safe), they've got a full-on reflective vest, sports bra, etc.
And it costs like a third of these prices.
Hey Lulu, how about instead of spending resources creating stuff very few people like or want, how about if you put together a "Classics" collection and have it made in Canada? You want to charge $200 for original Groove pants or Wunder Unders with old-school Luon, the original tight stitching, and made in Canada? I'm in. I would pay big money for old-school quality- not this junk.

A reflective bra or tank in New England when it's almost November? No thank you. However, I do run in the early morning when it's dark and would LOVE to have those tights - but at almost $300, ain't gonna happen. I will do without. Thanks a lot, Lulu, for pricing me out of just about everything.

I feel like last year's reflective collection was on WMTM forever- didn't they learn anything about the price point for this stuff? I really liked the CRB at first and then saw your comment about the bra beneath it and now I can't tell whether I like it or not. boo.

While it may not make a lot of sense, the sizes offered in each style are most likely based on what has sold in reflective pieces in the past. The pant is clearly the largest fabric user and most expensive, so lulu is going to limit the downside by offering the key sizes sold in the past.

I like the tank. That's about all the splatter I want to see.

@ anon 7:54 am - The size range I don't understand the most is the shorts up to a 12 and the bra stopping at a 10. 2.5" inseam Hotty Hots are not nearly as popular in the 12 as the long version - when I checked the website there were 12s available across the board in the regular length Hotty Hots. And making the CRB to a 12 but not the bra doesn't really make sense to me, either. I know the great majority of it sat in WMTM for ages and even remained untouched an the initial markdown cuts, too.

I love the sparkle speeds! I have never fallen for any of the other reflective items but I would get a lot of use out of those tights. I run at night and Canadian nights out in the boonies are DARK!

That being said, I would die my hair purple before I paid 300.00 + tax (13%) for running tights. I will patiently wait until they are on WMTM.

i love the look of the crb with the splatter bra. cannot see the reflective details of the crb at all. they must want you to buy the bra with the crb. what a deal, NOT!
