Dazzle and Mini Sweatr Multi Black Print Bottoms

lululemon dazzle wunder unders
Spotted on Instagram - two of the upcoming winter print items, Mini Sweatr Multi Black Fast and Free Tights (I think. These would be nulux, I believe) and the Dazzle print Wunder Unders. (Thanks to Ms. J. for the heads up.) Both prints come across better than in yesterday's drawings. I think I am liking the Dazzles, though not the price of them.

A reader thinks the top they're wearing might be this new pullover, too:

I can't get past the price tag. The Dazzles are cute, but I can't see myself spending $128 on them. I'd really have to over the moon wowed for that to happen.

The Dazzles fabric looks really pretty, but the dark seaming in front and rear is a turn off for me personally.

These prints all seem so similar. Black/White again and one of them looks like a mash up of nami wave and marble. I've bought a number of black/white prints over the past year and don't need anymore. This winter/holiday season may be a pass if this is what is being offered.

I can't understand the pricing, either. There are (virtually) no pockets in these things and no compression. You can use them for yoga or casual wear, but the options for yoga are almost limitless, so why would you choose these? And why pay so much? Personally, I don't think I'd reach for these at all, but if I was going to buy them, I guess I'd pay maybe $39. There's just nothing special about them. I don't get it.

I will not pay the regular prices for these tights; I'm well stocked. I if think about what I could spend $150 CAD on (with taxes), the possibilities are endless. Ad absurdum, I could save this money too. The pattern on the ombré tights looks like a maggot infestation, although it might look more palatable up close.

oh i'm definitely getting those dazzles. I mean, I'll be happy if they're nulux or something but I would absolutely die if they're a nice yarn dye! ooh buddy I am craving some soft warm pants like that! My beauties from last year are too big but I'm hanging onto them because I don't have replacements (yet) and can't bear to go into some slightly colder weather without ANY full length pants.

Just takes patience I guess by spring they'll be on wmtm but I'll have lost interest.

Those are really pretty.

I just prefer the classic coco pique and herringbone prints. All of this doesn't feel like lulu at all to me.

Does any one know if additional cold tech fleece tights are coming out or are the first mile tights it? They're not getting good reviews.

@ anon 2:44 pm - I tend to think not. They were released in three colors so I'm thinking that might it for that style. I'm not sure if we'll see another tech fleece pant. I think there could be a tight that has a softshell front and a tech fleece back. They've had those in the past and they would be the warmest type of tight they'll make for winter.

@BrownCow - I agree. I'd love more coco pique or even the heavy jacquard pants from a couple of years ago.

Does anyone else get camel toe with coco pique? No? Just me?...

Agreed!

Check out athleta's. $89. Wore mine for Halloween last night. Warm and thick. People seem to love them. No bells and whistles though. Just a basic winter running legging.

I've been looking at those. Also Patagonia's which aren't brushed as far as I can tell but have thigh pockets. I guess the pockets are less necessary in the winter with jackets and all but I still like them.
