I saw the Love Tee l/s in store yesterday and the fabric doesn't feel as nice and soft as my new Love Tee Crew or other pima cottons tops I own. I don't know why they would bring out this top in this colour when they had the Yogi 5 Year l/s in Regal Plum on line for a year and up until recently was on WMTM. They are bringing out lots of basic tees that are not much different from one another in style or colours.
The shape of the wrap jacket and the love tee ls, in a word - horrible! Not flattering what so ever.
That's sad to hear. I would love to get my hands on more Weekend LS tees- that fabric was perfect. I don't like the thin pima so I appreciate your description
Yes, exactly!!! I went I saw the Love Tee in the picture, I thought to myself, "I have that same shirt in the same color, except it was called something else!" I even pulled it out my closet to make sure I wasn't going crazy. I don't know why they keep releasing the same colors over and over.
Right on the heels of the marble WU, More dirty looking WUs in the paint/bleach splotch Diffusion print. You could not pay me to wear these. It's kind of good to know that with a whole lot of massively unappealing items being rolled out, I can start to ignore wmtm too. Which is also pretty easy these days with the "savings" of $4-$10.I'm not expecting much from the new head designer. They can hype it all they want.
@ anon 5:49 pm - I saw them in person today, too. So blah. I really like the antique paisley print but that is it for the latest batch of black&white/gray prints.@ anon 10:59 am- I thought I might like the crewneck love tee but the curved hem doesn't work for me. I wish they'd bring back the old Every Yogi or Lively Crewnecks. Those had the perfect shape.
Talkining about WMTM, I was thinking to get the ls swiftly from WMTM, I thought they FINALLY went on sale, but then I was like "So the sale price is actually $1 more than its original regular price?! W T F"!
No kidding, anon @5:49. I just checked WMTM and saw a few Swiftlies that had potential, but the reduced prices are literally $1 more than full prices were a year ago. That's hard to justify, when I already have more Swiftlies than a sane woman should.I'm actually kind of hopeful about the new design guy, but mostly only in a despairing, it-can't-get-any-worse kind of way.
@ anon 2:52 pm - I was thinking about the LS Neon Pink Swiftly on WMTM but then noticed the "sale" price was $69. Yeah, no.
I love the weekend LS! It's a perfect thickness. I wish they would release it again.
