I'll start off with what I like and that is the Tonic Sea Essence Tank. I am disappointed we are seeing some Fall colours so similar to last years Red Grape, Ultra Violet, Tender Violet, Regal Plum and bringing back a repeat of jewelled magenta. It's not to say these new colours are not nice but they are just too similar in colour to what I already have in my closet from last years purchases. I am excited for more in the Deep Green, Deep Indigo, Sapphire, Greyvy but I am done with the pinky purples hues. Maybe next year we will see more purple plums than pink plums.

The Ambleside Crew is ho hum in ho hum colours. I have seen the Inscullpt Vest and you couldn't pay me to wear anything made in this spacer fabric.

OT - I think they are stating to ship items from stores through the website. I've recently bought two thinks that were sold out inline and then popes up again. They both arrived with the plastic liner bag; one was definitely from the store's sale rack. Since I don't live near a store I think this is great.

Those green pants are so pretty. I'm generally nervous about a lot of mesh because I don't want to risk getting a hole, but those are super cute.

I don't get why so many LLL are so SHORT. The Ambleside Crew, with its too-short front, boxy fit through the body and needlessly long, tight sleeves is just ridiculous looking. Too many competitors with more high-quality basics for LLL to be churning this stuff out.

Tonic sea with BD would be a pretty combo, I think they paired BD with a similar color last year a lot. I love Bordeaux Drama so I'm all for seeing more of it. It may be overdone to some people but the color is beautiful! I agree, no more pinky purple colors, I have one pair and that's enough.

2 comments to keep kicking this dead horse:

1) This mesh is the crappiest craptastic excuse for mesh I've ever seen. I pulled out some old Inspire crops from 2012... now THAT was some good mesh.

2) It takes entirely too long for them to process an online return. Going on three and a half weeks since I mailed it back. Seriously, lulu. Get your crap together.

Apologies for the prolific use of crap. But that's putting it nicely.

@LLA, do you have any leads on what jacket the model is wearing in the All Day Duffel (Reflective) product description? Is it a new release to come? Or something I've missed on a previous post?

Tonic Sea is so pretty online but I got the Energy Bra and it's just "meh." I was going to send it back but then I put it next to Alberta Lake and it is growing on me, so maybe I will keep....

It all looks like junk! I can't remember the last time I purchased anything from lululemon! The good old days of lulu are just that....... Gone......

@ anon 8:39 am - I've heard there are overflow stores that they will source from if the warehouse is out of stuff.

@ anon 2:26 pm - It's older - the Goal Crusher jacket.

@ heartoftexas - that is why I am hanging onto it, to go with Alberta and other green tops.

agree re: shirts being too short - they're completely impractical for any sort of movement. compared to my cool racer backs from a couple of years ago, new ones are at least an inch shorter. I've stopped buying lululemon tops altogether.

The only positives are the deep green and sapphire colours. Otherwise, apparently they think continuing with an overload of pink, purple, and bordeaux is some strategic business plan. SO non-creative.

On the items coming from the stores:
The next logical step for them in online format and at the customer's choice because they are already doing it over the phone (and GEC will tell you what stores have stock and what ones don't - they have been very helpful when I tracked down a couple of items). As well, I think in the call report on the Q2 earnings, they said there would be quite an increase by Christmas as to the number of stores from which you could order. The intent is to reduce the amount of items that inevitably go to wmtm or md in store. It makes sense that they leverage the inventory in all stores in a country. Other retailers already do this.
