Love the chemtrails in those photos. I used to live there.... spokane washington..... bad place to live if you want blue sky.... the chemtrails there are crazy heavy a day can start out clear and you can count the planes that make a ticktack toe design and pretty soon its like a milky haze of white no more blue sky.
The Yin Time Bag looks too much like a weird briefcase or something like that.
I think that's why I like it. Perfect for work.
@9:27: interesting. I live in Toronto, and we call these vapour lines contrails (from condensation). Never mind them - my house is 30 minutes from the airport, but the deafening noise of the planes starting their descent over us makes conversation in the backyard and sleep in the bedroom nearly impossible. It has been five years since they rerouted the planes to fly over our area (which, btw. contains one of the most expensive housing stock of the city). Price of living in a big city - but I have three LLL stores nearby!Speaking of Lululemon, the posted pictures shock me. Never mind the jacked-up prices; the ugliness, impracticality and the downright sleazy designs are a real wake-up call for my Lulu addiction.
Totally off topic, but I went to Lulu today to try on the CRB2 for the first time and I actually really like it. I like the higher neckline as no matter what I do, I always have cleavage showing in the original CRBs. The back is ok, I know people hate it but I neither love or hate it. I bought the red one and will most likely buy the purple one in a couple of weeks too.
Totally OT - just received an order in the mail and it DID NOT come with that ugly, ugly, ugly shopping bag! YYYYYYYYYYYYESSSSSS!!!!!!
Awesome pictures. I still dislike everything! LOL
OT - I'm looking at the lighten up tank on WMTM. Does anyone know if it's a size down? I'm generally between an 6 and 8 and generally buy 8s for looser fit but am worried it would be too lose if it runs big. A 6 FTB is snug, the 8 is loose-ish. (My perpetual problem)
those are not vapour trails..... WAKE UP
The Fast As Light Muscle Tank is really, really ugly
I received my Greyvy Dance Studio Pants on Friday. I paid $118. plus tax but the price on the tag is $128. If you were planning on buying another pair I would suggest going online ASAP while the posted price there is still $118. I would imagine they are $128. in stores in this week. Is it just me or does anyone else find the fit of the DSPll to be a big smaller and the crotch shorter? The Greyvy is a gorgeous colour in the swift fabric. I compared them to my Street To Studio Pants in Cadet Blue and they are almost identical except the Greyvy is slightly lighter.
It's like they have internal contests to see who can come up with the most impractical/garbage designs to get rid of excess fabric. That cross-back tank is inexcusable. Not to mention that their pants increasingly give the wearer camel toe, and sheer pants are still an ongoing reality...who wants all these excessively short tops? I have a long torso and they just make me look like an idiot.
re: anon @2:41 PM, I called GEC about the bag - it's no longer standard with any orders. Kinda sad cause I was hoping for a seawheeze edition tote.
I think they should have a option to choose to receive a bag with order or not. If they were truly doing this with good intentions this would be an option. Instead they were taken away completely, for their own best intentions, which we all can clearly see is their greed to fill their own pockets with as much money as possible. Personally I hate the bags, their manifesto is absolutely ridiculous. I never used the bags and thought it was so wasteful to have a million of them sent to someone who never wanted them and wished I had an option to refuse with order. But I know a lot of people like them and use them for things like lunches and stuff, so think there should be an option rather than just completely canning them.
More people need to "wake up", not just in regards to above, but in general, to a lot of different things. I've always been pretty "awake", but have been waking up to a lot more things, especially over past year or so, and feel like a million different things are all coming together and making complete sense.
OK here's my two cents: what is this excuse of a "muscle tank"? Ugly and as if I want those pieces of material in the back flapping around and basically just being a hanging nuisance. (You guessed it, I'm a CRB wearer. And NEVER will buy the sorry excuse of a CRBii.)What is with the weird interior seams on the red bra in the picture where she has a necklace? You can see them blow the underarm. Looks uncomfortable. (Nothing, including the bra, appeals to me.) Shoppers/bags: finally, they are not automatically including them. Agree, there always should have been an option (online) to receive one or not. And way back in the day, the stores used to charge $1 for them. They should go back to this. How many freaking reusable bags does a person need? None of this matters to me as I am pretty much done with LLL. In future my absence of commenting will also reflect my disinterest in the brand.
For some reason the Pure Barre-esque poses are a total turnoff from the clothes, which are already bad enough. Dorky.
I agree with you anon 9:33 PM. Nothing against those of you who do barre classes (I have thought about trying them myself!), but yeah, those poses in the photos for some reason are a turn off from clothes that are already bad enough on their own.also anon 5:43 PM, good for you, I'm well on my way to being done with Lulu as well, I just need to stay away from these darn blogs! They are keeping me involved in a way. I need to find something more useful to spend my time on rather than checking out the Lulu blogs... something else to replace the times I would normally check the blogs. Sorry, LLA, no offence to you at all. love your blog, just so over all this Lulu crap.
